For me eGMAT gave a hope that I can improve my verbal. I did not understand why I was not able to improve my verbal, but after going through the eGMAT 3 step process, my accuracy in SC improved a lot. Also the pre-thinking in CR improved my accuracy in CR from 60 to 80%. From my point of view, it is more important to learn the core skills than focusing on practice. This is what is exactly taught in eGMAT. I am planning to take Quant live prep as well since they offer guarantee on GMAT score. I am looking forward for my real GMAT test and I am sure eGMAT gives me a chance to reach my target score.

I decided to give e-GMAT course a try after reading many positive reviews and improvements in verbal section of the Gmat on this forum. My weakest section was sentence correction. On average my accuracy was only 40-50% before taking the course. With the help of e-GMATs guided approach I was able to increase my accuracy to 70-80% in sentence correction. I started off with sentence correction section and followed up with SC live sessions. Live sessions were incredible since it helped me clear all my doubts. I followed up with SC practice to strengthen my SC skills. The critical reasoning section also helped me strengthen my score in critical reasoning. Critical reasoning accuracy increased from 75% to 90%.

Hi,

Before starting with the review, let me tell you about the circumstances in which I opted for e-GMAT Quant Live Prep.

I am an 34 yr old Engineer, who last spent times with books some 7 yrs.back. While I decided to take the GMAT exam, I was not sure whether my maths fundamentals are still strong.

I enrolled for Verbal Live prep in July 2014 (Quant Live prep was not launched by that time). I was so impressed with the methodology adopted by e-GMAT that I subscribed for QLP, as soon as it was launched.

What I had observed that many of more worried about our Verbal Score and take the Quant section for granted. Some of my friends stuck to Q46-Q47, while scoring a decent V40. Had they invested a little time on Quant, their GMAT score had boosted by 30-40 points. Since, I did not wanted to take a chance, I opted for QLP.

The first session with Rajat Sir was an eye opener. The session started with some warm up question and continuosly the difficulty level kept going up. The course seriously targets for 49-51 in Quant section.

Most of the classes were taken by Ms. Japinder, who was quite patient with students, even after marathon sessions of 3 hrs.

Over the time QLP kept on adding more n more question in every section. The assement section, which includes Advance Test really tests your nerves.

All in all, QLP is really good to start from scratch and to reach at the toughest level the GMAT tests.

Hello,

I have joined Quant Live Prep Course with a plane slate, it has been almost 10 years when I left college and needed to brush up all my basics, it became really a task to concentrate and to start the study. As I am a busy profession I needed a structured approach for my study and that is when I got to know about the Quant Live Prep, it has given me solid start discussing all nuances of maths that you need to crack the GMAT, it discusses the concepts in such a manner that you really imbibe the learning. I believe cracking GMAT depends a lot on how you study, you may be good but may not be able to crack the GMAT Quant, that is when you require a course which is well crafted.

While the course discusses the fundamentals in detail in its video lesson, the live session teaches you how to solve the tough 700 level questions. Overall the course is really great and the best part is that you can learn whenever you want, on the go, in the car while travelling to office – good one for busy professionals.

A small suggestion/request to the EGMAT team, Please introduce a Scholaranium for Quant as well at the earliest.

Thanks EGMAT for making study easy for busy people..

Happy Learning..

Regards

E-gmat verbal live course is the best gmat course for non native speakers.Egmat verbal live course was the first gmat course purchased by me.The course starts with basics of every topic and then there is a test at the end of every topic. There is also a concept review test at the end of few topics. The topics are animated in power point presentation format which ensures that the course learner learns in a lucid way and never gets bored of learning. It is the best inteactive course available in the market.I have also subscribed to other courses but i found the egmat course really help me grasp concepts easily.I have improved from 570 in my first attempt to 610 in my third attempt by using egmat course.I would recommend egmat to every gmat test taker whose preparation is at beginner level.

I have my GMAT score in 2012 and get 570 (Q46, V23). At that time, I took another GMAT course. Based on the score, I realized that I am weak at verbal section. The root cause is lack of experience in learning English, so that I don't understand the basic of English. It's even more difficult because English is not my first language and my work do not relate with English literature.

E-gmat is not only help me with GMAT verbal question but also building my basic English foundation. If the foundation is strong then moving forward is easier. The way of e-gmat approach a question in GMAT is also effective. It encourages us to understand the meaning and then aim the problem specifically. Firstly, it seems too complicated and takes too much time, but as soon as we expert the approach, it makes us better and better. I haven't seen any better approach in solving GMAT verbal problem than this approach.

I haven't retaken my official GMAT test but my GMAT test prep score increased 30 points.

I've enjoyed the Verbal Live course with e-GMAT so far. The Graphical User Interface is a really powerful medium in helping a student understand and retain the concepts learnt. I found Verbal Live advantageous in that the weekly Adobe meetings induced fruitful discussions and the effect of the structured approach (3-step process in CR / SC) that instructors recommend can be visualized in real-time.

I found e-GMAT instructors / admin really helpful. They have reached out to me on time whenever I had queries and were kind enough to even extend my subscription by a month as I had to push my GMAT exam due to unforeseen circumstances. Kudos to the course materials and the initiative as a whole!

After going through the MGMAT books i decided to look for a personal tutor who can fill the remaining gaps in my knowledge, but after attending some quant live sessions I changed my mind and decided to go for a Quant Live Prep.

In addition to live sessions the best thing about this course is that after every concept file there are practice tests of that particular concept that helps to harness your new knowledge right away. The rapid quizzes give you sharpness of quick thinking eventually helping you in time management.

I have seen a considerable improvement in quant. Use e-gmat quant with gmat-club tests and it will work like magic.

It's a good start for those who want to brush up their concepts and also for those who want to improve their score by 3-4 points after reaching 42-44 zone. Each chapter is content wise good, but some chapters such as Set Theory, Permutations and Combinations may be improved,as theses chapters have concentrated too much on very basic concepts. But, sometimes when you reach above a certain level, you tend to get more difficult problems from these areas. You also need to be really well prepared with the theory, before attempting the Quant live sessions and it keeps you on your toes. Overall, a very good course to get your confidence back in the Quant section.

Too many a time, you hear about a disgruntled person from India who says "I only got 50 on quant" at which time I think to myself "only(!).. I must be doing something wrong". This demonstrates the extent to which people in India compete with each other. Math is central to their curriculum from young. I knew this (I'm a UK born indian) but didn't really have the opportunity to learn not only their approach to Math but also the pace.

The E-gmat Quant Live Prep is excellent. It is structured. Core concepts are broken down into manageable chunks. Everything makes sense. Furthermore, the LIVE sessions of the course introduced me to the pace. E-gmat features something called 'rapid fire' which does not give you a chance to think. You either know it (in which case you'll answer the question based on core concepts straight away) or you won't i.e. think for too long or get confused. When others answer in the allotted time, you have it right there in front of you - you’re not competitive and it is time to strengthen those concepts. In my opinion, these advantages alone are well worth the investment in the course.

Word of caution - the course would not be well suited for those who have weak math fundamentals. The course certainly goes over them, but it is fast paced. I followed various curricula of various prep companies - and still learnt new concepts through E-GMAT. My suggestion to others would be to go through the MGMAT fundamentals in Math book before doing this course. Be comfortable with the basics - and this course will take you to the next level and beyond.

Being a UK citizen, I gained much more value from E-GMAT's quant course than its verbal course. Hopefully, one day, I'll be able to say "I only got Q50 on the GMAT (!!)".

Highly recommended
