nothing, it's great
I had a limited time to prepare (3 months) and I was looking for a course that would fully cover the exam material. I chose TTP because it had many positive reviews. After using the free 5-day trial I loved this course and I bought it.
The most useful part of the course for me was the questions bank. While studying you solve hundreds of questions, and this is what really prepares you for the exam. I had concerns about time per question, and I was slow at first, but I kept focusing on solving the problems as the course had recommended and my speed improved on its own.
Overall, I loved this service and I can recommend it to anyone taking GMAT.
Strengths:
The course is designed to teach you all the key skills from the ground up. There is a well balanced mixture between theory lessons and prep questions. The study plan can be adjusted very flexible which gives student a unique study experience tailored to their own needs, strengths and weaknesses.

TTP has helped me improve my score immensely by teaching me all the important tricks and tools to solve even the most difficult GMAT questions. The extensive range of quizzes and practice questions gives one more than enough to practice each topic perfectly. On the TTP platform, everything is clearly laid out and easy to navigate, which saves a lot of time when you have a busy schedule to manage. The detailed explanations break down complex concepts into easily digestible chunks, helping you to really understand the underlying principles rather than just memorizing formulas. Overall, TTP's comprehensive learning approach, user-friendly interface, and dedicated support make it, in my opinion, the best GMAT prep tool that will help you gain confidence and see real improvements in your test performance.
Strengths:
-THOUSANDS of problems, it's all you need
-Wide coverage of all sections
-Wide range of supplements
Would make the product better:
-Recommend sections for students to take based on their strong/weak sections
-provide practice tests
I was recommended TTP by my coworkers, and despite friends recommending different websites, I decided to pick it due to its "comprehensiveness," per my coworkers' wording.
After completing the majority of the course, I can testify that "comprehensive" is indeed the right word for this course. With the exception of practice tests, it has everything (and I mean everything) you need to succeed. There was no point during my study where I considered getting a supplemental practice course from a different provider.
You get access to formula sheets, flashcards, hundreds (1000+?) of questions, and a myriad of lessons. You can opt in for the instructor learning too, but I personally did not. As long as you're motivated and focused, I don't feel like it's necessary.
My one warning is that you should be prepared to dedicate a lot of time -- depending on how far you are from your desired score, if you're in a rush (<6 months) to improve, there might be too much content for you. Otherwise, think less and just get TTP.
Strengths:
I found that the lesson content was great because it presented the information you truly needed to know to succeed, in a format that was structured, clear, and digestible. I loved the content around test-taking strategies, and I also appreciated how for each type of critical reasoning question, TTP provided examples of common answers and common traps.
Would make the product better:
I was thankful to have my GMAT prep resources sponsored by my company, so I wasn’t worried about the cost of TTP. I recognize that the cost of TTP may be prohibitive to some.
I used Target Test Prep to prepare for about 5 weeks before writing the GMAT Focus in August 2024. With the extensive lessons and practice questions that TTP provides and many hours of studying, I attained a 735 score on my first attempt. Overall, I found TTP to be a great resource for GMAT prep. If there’s one course/tool/platform you use, I honestly recommend TTP to all my friends. The content is exhaustive and calibrated towards building the understanding you need to get a score you can be proud of. Everyone will use the resources TTP provides a little bit differently, you might go a bit slower, focus on different areas, or use different modules more – but I confidently recommend TTP to anyone interested in writing the GMAT.
Strengths:
1. The simplicity of the content
2. how the course is structured
3. The course has an inbuilt time and percentages to help monitor completion
4. A lot of review tests to help remember previous topics read

Nothing at the moment
TTP played a key role in my GMAT journey, helping me improve from a 660 GMAT Classic to a 645 (89th percentile) GMAT Focus, estimated at 700 GMAT Classic. The self-study course was ideal, keeping me on track with its structured approach. Its built-in progress tracker and percentage indicators helped me monitor performance, while numerous review tests reinforced earlier topics. The affordable pricing, thanks to promos and discounts, was an added bonus. TTP’s comprehensive design made my preparation effective and efficient, ensuring I stayed focused and remembered key concepts throughout my studies. TTP was definitely a game changer for me, and I advise a lot of folks to take the course and follow it diligently!
Strengths:
All-encompassing course, just have to follow it step by step, without thinking here and there. Final scores resemble the performance you get here. My quant remained strong, my Di remained decent and my verbal remained weak on my main exam attempts, mirroring my prep from TTP
Would make the product better:
Verbal has multiple questions that have a questionable solution key. But no place to provide feedback. A feedback platform will be highly appreciated.
I enjoyed my journey with TTP, got a 665 in first attempt and 675 in second attempt. My scoring could have been higher as I was getting 695-715 in official mocks but I found the main exam verbal set to be tougher than official mocks. However TTP mirrored my exam performance. It is an All-encompassing course, just have to follow it step by step, without thinking here and there. Final scores resemble the performance you get here. My quant remained strong, my Di remained decent and my verbal remained weak on my main exam attempts, mirroring my prep from TTP. Good job!

Strengths:
1) Analytics: you can see your exact strength and weakness areas in each subject
2) Explanations of quant subjects: They explained each concept so simply that you would understand the reasoning behind all the formulas, which meant that I could logically remember everything without having to memorise formulas that I might not remember for the exam
3) Availability of questions: I couldn't even get through them all, so you won't run out.
4) Supportive platform: TTP went beyond just quant and verbal and DI, and provided extremely supportive and motivational tips on studying for the GMAT (how to keep calm before a test, how to approach complex quant and even verbal questions)
Would make the product better:
It's a large platform with an incredible amount of analytics and tools for each student. If you're on as tight a schedule as I am, it is definitely worth spending 30 minutes in the beginning (even though it may seem counterintuitive) on clicking on all the tabs on the website and trying all the tools. This could be made easier by a short video that went through everything, but this might already exist and I haven't spotted it!
I had a very tight schedule for when I could study and take the exam, as I only had two weeks free from work to do both. I had heard very good reviews of TTP and decided to get a flexible membership and study intensely for the month. I did nothing other than study, sleep and eat for those weeks and just hope for the best. TTP was a lifesaver for both quant and verbal (I didn't focus too much on DI). It explained quant subjects simply and in an engaging way. I would study quant from 9 am - 9 pm (with breaks ofc) and then do 2 hours of verbal each evening (don't skimp out on this!). TTP's analytics are incredible and help you see your weak areas.
Strengths:
Using TTP helped me improve to a perfect score on Quant, enabling me to work on a lot of practice problems in topic specific categories.
Would make the product better:
I feel there could be more reading practice problems for me to get more practice in.
TTP was an invaluable tool for me to improve my score in a short time (2 months). I was able to improve my quant score a lot because of the huge bank of practice problems and targeted practice that was organized by topic. The content was concise and well-organized, enabling me to revisit challenging topics while breezing through problems I was more confident in. TTP helped me to gain a deeper understanding of the type of problems I would come across, gave me a lot of practice problems to work with, and even helped address some mental blocks of test-taking that I went through. I would recommend to others who are self motivated and studious.
Strengths:
Gives you a structured route that can save you tons of time and kill your procrastination!
Would make the product better:
In the custom test section , it would be lovely if it has more flexibility to choose the question bank.
It is a great tool with amazing UI that can be leveraged along with your inputs to get to your dream score. Use it smartly to make the most of it. Helped me get to my score pretty quick and that's what I wanted! Something time efficient.
It provides you with flexibility in your prep which you can use to target your time in right areas, For example: I was pretty confident with my content knowledge of quants, hence I could use the accelerated mode in which I just solved questions directly without going through the quant basics.
Categorisation of questions and solving them under the clock gives you a reality check and getting habituated to it is great, quiz mode of TTP does that for you!
Finally, TTP can be a great tool and also affordable if you use the monthly subscriptions effectively!!
Strengths:
I personally found the quantitative section of the product to be its greatest asset. While I was familiar with many of the topics on the quantitative section, the continual focus on reviewing past topics and comprehensive list of questions was exactly what I was looking for and allowed me to develop mastery in the topics.
Would make the product better:
While quant lessons are followed by sporadic tests that continue to test your mastery of previous topics, an aspect that I found helpful, I would have loved to see that aspect implemented across verbal and DI as well.
While the course is comprehensive and indeed lengthy, TTP is what you make of it. In verbal, I was running on a short timeline but needed the basics so focused exclusively on question sets and their key concept highlights, cutting out most of the examples in teaching. For quant, I was familiar with much of the content, so dedicated a significant amount of time learning and understanding their question sets. I personally went into TTP after taking the GMAT once, so had an idea on where I needed to improve and consequently was able to extract exactly what I needed from the course to succeed and was able to do just that.
