Strengths:
Target Test Prep does a fantastic job of breaking down every concept related to GMAT prep to the granular detail. Target Test Prep makes no assumptions about what you know, which helps you catch your blind spots unlike other tools. For example, Target Test Prep taught me how to organize Rate and Distance problems into a standard table. This may seem obvious to some, but this tip helped me ace every Rate and Distance problem I encountered.
Would make the product better:
It may have been user error, but I could not figure out how to randomize practice problems. Target Test Prep provides more subject tests than you could possibly need in your prep, but when you complete the tests, you know what skill is being tested. I needed to improve recognizing what type of problem was being asked. I practiced this using old GMAT resources. It's very possible this feature was available at the completion of the full training plan (which I skipped some parts of despite the constant recommendations not to!)
If you're serious about improving your GMAT score, Target Test Prep will guarantee improvement. My first practice test I scored 1st percentile (315 overall) and ended up with a 100th percentile score (735 overall) thanks to Target Test Prep resources. You will not run out of practice problems. Every concept you need to know is explained in excruciating detail - including how you should be organizing your work as you take the test. As I did more and more practice tests leading up to taking the GMAT, I would review what type of problems I struggled on and then would revisit that specific Target Test Prep section. Target Test Prep also keeps track of what problems you've struggled on - which I'd recommend you use as a pre-GMAT review guide before taking the test!
I recommend purchasing the 6 month package - I started studying in February 2024 and took the GMAT in August 2024.
