Strengths:

- Comprehensive curriculum
- Self-paced
- Well designed study plan
- Regularly scheduled review tests
- Categorized error log
- Supportive staff team
- Data-driven analytics
- Sensibly-priced

Would make the product better:

- More visually appealing lessons (flow-charts, tables, colored boxes etc)
- Verbal and DI practice tests more regularly scheduled like the Quant tests.

TTP is one of the most comprehensive courses (because I needed foundational help with Quant ) while being reasonably priced. The course has the flexibility between a mission-based approach or a daily task-based approach which can be custom-tailored to your weekly routine. The study plan was so well-designed that I didn't have to use any other resource for my prep at the time and blindly followed the TTP plan. The lessons are so easy to understand and universally applicable from a novice to an expert level student. What I really appreciated about the lessons was that they were very structured, based on reliable and replicable techniques. The must-knows in each lesson helped summarize the main take-aways from each chapter without having to do it myself. I need physical pen and paper notes to study, so for that, the Active review sheets really helped me in the last 2 months of my prep when I was just revising what I had already learnt. The error log built into the TTP module helped me improve my scores on the Mocks from a 89th percentile to consistently scoring above 90th percentile because I was able to analyze and zero-in on the types of errors I was making most commonly and eventually erase them as much as possible.

Strengths:

Target Test Prep excels in several key areas: comprehensive and structured content, highly detailed explanations, and a robust adaptive learning platform. The program offers a vast array of practice questions that closely mimic the GMAT exam, supported by video tutorials for better understanding. Its user-friendly interface and personalized study plans significantly reduce the hassle of planning and allow you to focus solely on learning. The analytics are particularly impressive, helping to pinpoint weaknesses and track progress effectively.

Would make the product better:

integrating a broader range of cultural and business context in practice questions might provide a more global perspective, aiding students from diverse backgrounds.

I began my GMAT preparation with Target Test Prep on a friend's recommendation and was immediately impressed by the depth and breadth of the materials provided. The platform's approach to teaching each section, especially quantitative and verbal, is meticulously designed to enhance understanding and retention. The mix of theoretical explanations and practical questions prepared me not just to answer correctly but to understand the reasoning behind each answer.

Throughout my study period, I was able to utilize the flexible, adaptive study plan that adjusted to my schedule and pacing, which was invaluable as I balanced preparation with other commitments. Despite the challenges, I consistently felt supported by TTP's resources and saw a remarkable improvement in my practice scores, culminating in a final GMAT score that exceeded my expectations.

The ease of use, combined with the comprehensive analytics, allowed me to focus on weaker areas efficiently, turning potential weaknesses into strengths. By the day of the exam, I felt thoroughly prepared and confident.

Target Test Prep is more than just a study tool; it's a roadmap to success on the GMAT, tailored to maximize each student's potential. I highly recommend it to anyone serious about getting a top score and wanting a detailed, structured approach to mastering the GMAT.

Strengths:

- Study plan which helps a lot to systemize learning
- Depth and understanding focused content
- Supportive team which responds to any queries you have at any stage of preparation

Would make the product better:

I personally wanted more verbal practice so I think it would be great to have more verbal chapter tests with questions from multiple chapters added in the study plan

I started preparing with TTP and haven't looked back since. The course is really good and has the philosophy that EVERY portion of the GMAT is skill based and hence CAN be learned and mastered ! I really enjoyed the content also which is easy to grasp and is very well written. The program helped me a lot to identify which sections I am weak at, the reason I am weak in those sections and finally how can I master those sections. Practicing with TTP is well worth the time you invest in it as it will definitely improve your score. Overall I can say, without any doubt, that TTP played a vital role in me achieving the score of 725 in my first attempt.

Can't think of anything

I absolutely loved my experience with Target Test Prep for GMAT Focus! The curriculum is incredibly comprehensive, covering every aspect of the exam in great detail. What impressed me most was the adaptive learning platform - it felt like having a personal tutor who knew exactly what I needed to work on.
The question bank is massive, and I never ran out of practice material. Each question comes with a thorough explanation, which really helped me understand the underlying concepts. I also found the analytics incredibly useful. Being able to track my progress in real-time kept me motivated and helped me focus my efforts where they were most needed.

Strengths:

Extremely comprehensive information on all topics. More than enough practice questions to hone in on various areas. Straight forward and organized learning plan.

Would make the product better:

Going through the entire learning plan perfectly will take over 3-4 months even with several hours of work each day. Not sure if TTP would improve have to improve anything with that but just something to be weary of if you want to do the given learning plan.

Target Test Prep has been great for my GMAT journey. I started with a 475 and bumped my score up to a 675 on the GMAT focus in less than three months. There are so many questions for each topic which allowed me to really hone in on topics and master them. I like how they outline a organized learning plan for you with questions for each chapter. One thing to note is that the learning plan will take over 3 months to do. I barely finished my entire learning plan and still got a 200 bump in score so if you are able to really dedicate and prepare a several months to TTP I am positive that you can get an even better bump or score!

Hi Blee,
first congrats on your great score. I only have two Month for the Preparation of the GMAT. Would you still recommend TTP in this case, since you mentioned that the learning path takes 3-4 month, or can this be done quicker than suggested by TTP?

Strengths:

Great questions, way of learning including review tests and chapter tests. Never had an issue with the explanation for questions in verbal which seemed to be the case with some GMATClub verbal questions.

Would make the product better:

Only thing I can say is to maybe have mocks. Only thing that could be considered missing.

It was a great course. The calendar view along with being able to put on how many hours I had each day/week really helped me know how long it would take and put some needed pressure on me to focus.

Not needing to use any other sources to study and not having to plan every time I study was helpful, made the whole process easier. I recommended it to other because once you study using TTP, you don't need anything else to study the material.

After doing this, your only focus needs to be to maximize test day ability and put yourself in that headspace to do exactly what you have been doing while practicing, which again, TTP helps with

Strengths:

TTP creates a tailored study plan that can be updated/modified as you prepare. By simply selecting which sections you want to focus on and designating a number of weekly study hours, TTP builds a day-by-day plan to complete the course by your test date.

A review of concepts is built into the course. As you move onto a new module, you are frequently tasked with completing quizzes on questions you missed from earlier sections, solidifying your understanding.

TTP offers strong explanations for answers to difficult questions. Each question has both a written and video explanation for how the problem is to be solved. Even if you are confused after reviewing these resources, you can contact their live helpline where they provide a personalized explanation.

Would make the product better:

After TTP, series/sequences was the only area I felt less prepared for on quant. These were 2 of the 4 questions I missed during my GMAT. However, my impression is that TTP is constantly updating its curriculum. During my subscription, multiple new readings were added to the quant section.

Target Test Prep was the single most impactful GMAT preparation service I used, specifically for the quant section. As someone with little experience in math, I scored a 29 percentile on the quant section of my diagnostic test. It was very apparent I needed a crash course, so I purchased a TTP subscription. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the decision.

TTP provided a comprehensive review of each topic in the quant section. You cover each topic by reading short digestible passages and immediately applying the concept to practice problems. Instead of becoming bogged down by lengthy readings, you learn a new concept, validate your understanding, and move on. This approach makes the course significantly more fun and engaging. At the end of each section, you are given practice tests of easy, medium, and hard difficulty. This organization forces you to both master the basics and apply new concepts to unfamiliar problems. Through TTP, I improved to 71 percentile in quant and raised my overall GMAT score by 90 points! Highly recommend.

Strengths:

Fantastic full coverage of all GMAT focus content (quant, verbal, and data insights). Each section was covered thoroughly with plenty of practice questions to achieve mastery in each section.

Would make the product better:

At times it feels a bit too thorough. I worked for months only to complete the first 10 missions and realized it was not sustainable. There was simply too much content to read through and practice questions to answer. I wish I had used TTP to fill in my weakest areas earlier on in my GMAT studying.

Overall Target Test Prep is in my opinion the best GMAT prep service out there. The course is designed to take anyone to a 705+ GMAT focus score with how thoroughly they cover each topic. I found the quant section on the actual GMAT focus was significantly easier than the TTP quant prep. While I was not able to complete even half the course with the 5-10 hours I set aside for GMAT studying each weak, I was able to identify my weaknesses and with the thoroughness of the TTP course was able to fill in those weaknesses. The many practice tests also allowed me practice my timing which proved instrumental in the actual test and allowed me to get the most out of the official mba.com practice tests by getting true benchmark scores without timing issues affecting my score.

Strengths:

1. Amazing lessons
2. A lot of practice problems to strengthen concepts

I got a 695 in GMAT Focus with the help of TTP study material. I used it mainly for verbal and DI as I was already good at quant.

I went carefully through all the CR and RC lessons and it helped me build strong foundation and the practice problems helped me strengthen the concepts.

I was able to apply techniques and get more questions right.
I used mock tests to analyse my learning and I saw consistent improvement. My score in mock went from 595 to 675.

I liked the text explanations to questions, they were detailed and thorough. Course teaches you the right way to attack problems and avoid tricks.

TTP is best if you want to improve your score.

Strengths:

The Quant study is very organized and takes a holistic approach to ensure that you address weak spots.

Would make the product better:

The data sufficiency questions could be improved upon to include logic-based questions as several of those showed up on the real exam.

This program is excellent for individuals who want to go through each topic in detail for the Quant section especially. With the surplus of questions, you can get more than enough practice for each unit and ensure that you are comfortable with all sorts of questions related to the topic at hand. A really neat feature involves creating custom tests such as only including questions you have gotten wrong or spent more than 3+ minutes on. This lets you filter through the overwhelming number of questions to address certain pain points and develop your quant skills.

I used this program for 1 month plus the 5 day trail before writing the GMAT Focus Test for the first time. I used the accelerated approach as I was familiar with some of the topics already and had somewhat of a decent quantitative foundation.
