Paul is the most incredible GMAT tutor you could ask for. He is super sharp, knows the test in and out, and will give you the best personalized plan you need to succeed in reaching your GMAT score goals. I was on the fence about getting a tutor and spent a lot of time on my own preparing. My progress dramatically accelerated within a few weeks of working with Paul and I got my target score and accepted into my #1 choice MBA program. If you are on the fence - here is your nudge to sign up and work with him! Cannot recommend him highly enough!
I absolutely loved taking my 9-week Live Online GMAT course with Jamie. Not only was she a fantastic explainer but she also made the classes very interactive and enjoyable. I genuinely looked forward to them in the midst of a busy work week.
Jamie was able to break down complex concepts into simple steps that were easy to follow. This was particularly beneficial for me in Quant as I come from a psychology background, so I hadn't dealt with numbers for years. There's no other way to put it except that her strategies just made sense - and if they didn't, she made sure to explain again until the entire class got them. She even taught us multiple methods to answer the same question so students could choose those they were most comfortable with.
Jamie also was a great motivator and instilled confidence in me and my peers. I remember I wasn't happy with the results of a couple of my practice tests and she was extremely supportive and empathetic. She even live analyzed one of these tests during class, which was very helpful for both me and my peers. She had such strong faith that each of us would do incredibly well and that confidence rubbed off on us.
Overall, I improved 90 points from a 580 to a 670 and I have just accepted an offer to Said Business School (Oxford University)! I am still in touch with Jamie until today and I will always remember what an incredible experience taking her class was. I highly recommend anyone who wants to improve their GMAT score and have fun while doing so to take her course - you'll thank me later!
Abby sets up a great class environment where we felt comfortable to stop and ask questions and it made the whole process much less painful. She is so patient and encouraging, which is what I needed at this stage of the process and worked based on my positive results on my final GMAT (large improvement from my initial attempts). She also allowed the other students to get to know each other on a more personal level so we were able to keep in touch and continue to study together once the formal class meetings concluded. I highly encourage taking class with her!
Jamie’s online prep course really helped me set a good foundation for my GMAT study journey. You can tell right away that she’s an expert not only on the material, but how to teach it in a way that all students can understand. She’s very patient, but also knows when to ask a student to discuss one-on-one with her after class as to not waste class time for other students. She also very generously stays after every class for at least 15 minutes to help students with any questions. Additionally, she’s very responsive over email.
She taught me a lot of techniques and tips on how to tackle every type of question. Her assurance that letting go of questions was okay and that I didn’t need to nail every question was great advice because it helped me pace myself on practice exams and the actual exam. Her steps for tackling DS questions was also critical because she always emphasized in class that we should pay attention to givens and simply the question / statements before solving. Her tips are pretty creative sometimes. I’ll never forget when she taught us that factors that live upstairs in the house have to have corresponding buddies that live downstairs. Take her course to learn more!
I did my Post Course Assessment with Jamie and as with previous practice exams, she narrowed down my improvement areas into a handful of topics, which made studying post-course much easier and streamlined. I’ve kept in touch with Jamie even after the course because she truly cares about her students and wants to see them succeed not only on the exam, but with their careers.
Jamie came highly recommended to me and her class didn't disappoint! Her "Jamie-isms" demonstrated the power of her great insights about the test which are based on years of experience and observations and go even beyond the Manhattan Prep's curriculum. Plus, they helped hammer home points so I really internalized and remembered them while taking the test.
I felt I was in good hands because of the specific strategies Jamie put forward, and the variations she presented for different types of thinkers. She also brought demonstrative advanced practice questions that prepared me for frequently recurring question types. Jamie boils down the most important aspects of studying and taking the test in a digestible way that sticks with you on test day when it matters most.
Jamie was also helpful in responding to each students' questions and making sure we were all in the place we needed to be. I would definitely recommend Jamie's class to anyone looking to seriously improve their GMAT skills.
The Manhattan Prep self-paced online class is a wonderful way to learn the foundation of everything you need to know for the GMAT. The books were extremely helpful in nailing down actual content with practice, especially for the quantitative reasoning section. Although I personally struggled with critical reasoning, I feel like the live online course where you had an instructor would be better to tailor your specific needs. However, I still am happy with the foundation that was given to me during this course. If you have a hectic schedule, this self-paced studying is a great option! The combination of video and module based learning combined with offline homework was great. However, if you are able to set aside the time for a class with a live tutor, that would probably be best.

The Live Online GMAT Prep Course taught by Tiffany Berkebile Manhattan Prep GMAT set me up for success with GMAT (and, subsequently, my MBA applications). For a variety of reasons, I had a crunched application timeline that started on November 1 but I had yet to earn a competitive GMAT score.
Enter, Tiffany Berkebile. After spending one month getting trained in her accelerated sessions, I take the test again, and my score went up 60 points. I improved my verbal by 25 percentile points, quant by 5 percentile points, and earned a perfect 8.0 on IR and 6.0 on AWA.
Tiffany is an excellent communicator, both during and outside the class sessions. She changed my entire perception of the GMAT exam. She taught me new and novel strategies, simplified some of the content, and – really – trained me to be more intuitive when taking the exam. Not for nothing, but intuition is a big help in determining whether one is straying away from a good score. If one has been trained as I have been, they will be able to quickly recover and march on to earn a satisfying score. Finally, she is a wonderful person, with a great sense of humor, and a knack for boosting people’s confidence and spirits as they gear up for this stressful exam.
A quick shout out to Manhattan: Thanks for facilitating this training. And for the fantastic resources, you have offered. Your navigator, score assessment templates, and content were excellent tools without which I would have been underprepared.
Last point: I am under no illusions that the coursework and resources could be expensive for some. But it is very much worth it if you would like to do this right and have no idea where to begin. Good luck and remember to have fun!

I began my GMAT studying in May 2020. After 2 test attempts, my highest score was a 640 and I felt like I had hit a plateau. In the past, I've always pushed through this kind of test roadblock, but this time was different. This time I needed help.
After some research, I chose Manhattan Prep and was paired with Chris Gentry. It's been incredible to work with someone as talented as Chris throughout my GMAT studying process. In addition to being really smart and skilled at the GMAT, Chris also has a great personality. But above all else, I've really appreciated Chris's flexibility and understanding. I always felt like Chris catered his lessons and plans to my strengths and tendencies, which allowed me to succeed in ways I could have never done myself.
After 4 months of prep, I was able to push through the plateau and score a 710. However, my time with Chris didn't end there. I also had plans to take the LSAT, and Chris again put me in the best position to succeed.
To master any standardized test is tough, even for the best test takers. But how hard is it to master two standardized tests, especially when they are applicable to separate fields? The obvious answer is really hard, but Chris was more than up to the task. With his help I walked into the 2021 October LSAT (just 4 months removed from my 710 GMAT) with more confidence than I could have ever imagined. While I won't know my LSAT score for a couple of weeks, I've seen success on a few practice test and feel confident that Chris has made the difference for me, again.
It should come then as no surprise that I heavily recommend having lessons with Chris, so that he can make the difference for you too!

Jamie was an incredible instructor. She has been doing this for several years, and you can tell that she has curated the class and her teaching style based on her experience. During class, Jamie made topics fun, by telling funny anecdotes and examples that really help the material stick in your head. She also pushes useful tips, such as keeping an error log and taking the practice tests at a certain cadence, which I think made all of the difference in my study experience. Thirdly, she really goes the extra mile to give every student individual attention, by being very accessible over email in between classes and helping you build your individual study plan based on analyses of your practice tests. Lastly, she brought interesting problem examples to class that we wouldn't have found necessarily in the Original Guide or in the standard Manhattan Prep curriculum. I found these problems to be very exemplary of the actual problems I encountered on the GMAT and doing them in class helped me solidify the methods to solve them. Can't thank Jamie enough for the amazing experience!

I work a busy schedule and Manhattan Prep provided exactly what I needed to get my desired score on the GMAT. The virtual class was helpful to learn in person with Jamie, who provided excellent shortcuts and advice on how to answer complex questions, and I also utilized all of the practice materials that Manhattan Prep provided. Having the ability to take 6 practice exams before I even walked into the exam was extremely helpful from a preparation standpoint and having error logging templates and video resources at my fingertips was extremely helpful. Manhattan Prep gives you the tools to succeed and then its just about logging the hours to get to where you want to be. Simple as that.
