Rajat mastered the skill of taking standardized tests at an early age by scoring better than 99 percentile on most exams including the CET (Indian equivalent of SAT), GATE (Indian equivalent of GRE including technical GRE), and the GMAT. Rajat stands out as one of the two students in the country who were selected by Nokia Research (NRC) Germany for a fully funded Master’s degree at IIT Delhi and subsequent internship at NRC Germany.
Post MBA (from Babson where he received full fellowship), Rajat was hired by Honeywell as a Marketing and Business Development Manager to grow its wireless business. During his 4 years at Honeywell, he helped grow the business from $2M to $25M. In August 2010, Rajat founded e-GMAT with Payal Tandon to fulfill his dream to democratize Test Prep education by leveraging technology to provide high quality, personalized, and effective education at affordable prices.

Firstly I did not want to take a quant course at all. But these guys had SCORE GUARANTEE even for people with Q 48. That intrigued me to take up their quant course. At first it seems as thought it would be if no use. But the way the concepts are arranged is structured and I could learn new stuffs in every concept file. And the practice questions later to cement the concepts. I am almost complete with this course now I am scoring Q50 even in manhattan tests which is considered a little more difficult than the original GMAT. I am still working on my negatives now. These guys are just awesome.
I registered for the e-gmat course in December'14 after completing the GMAT in Dec'14. I was not happy with my score, and decided to sign up. Prior to this, I went with the different course. I see a difference between e-gmat and Others. Personally, I feel that e-gmat is more detailed in teaching both Quant and Verbal. It teaches you the application, not just the rules. I can't comment on Word problems yet, as I just missed the session on word problems. The live sessions are great. Payal does a great job answering questions and going through the content. I am glad I found the course. I'm already seeing an improvement in my verbal accuracy. Thanks to e-gmat! My next GMAT exam is four weeks away, I'll continue to spend time going through their content!
The course is very well structured and makes you think logically even while reading the question.
I am still preparing for the exam, and can already see consuming lesser time in even understanding the question.
Number properties approach is all-together explained in so simple and basic format that it has started to look like a piece of cake.
I Found it really very useful. It was regular like the Princeton courses. I wish i get a more practice questions not only from official guide but from other books too. I have practised the Official guide twice, so i am aware of the answers well.
Overall, other the above suggestion, i am able to get completely thorough with the course. The Sentence correction section was very simple and understanding. The Reading Comphrension was understanding but expected more analysis on it. The most interesting to me is the critical reasoning section. I really had interesting topics while going through the section. As told earlier, the practice questions are from the same official guide which i have already practised a couple of times.
I have been subscriber of e-gmat's all the course offerings: GMAT Verbal, Verbal Live, Quant and Quant Live prep.
The courses are very comprehensive and come up with great quality content. E-gmat provides you with step by step - methodological approach for solving GMAT problems.
I thoroughly enjoyed the interactive atmosphere that Verbal Live Prep course offers. Live sessions not only helped me clarify my doubts but also were much useful in getting a deeper understanding of the topics. E-gmat instructors tackle some of most difficult problems in these live sessions and explains you a step by step method to deal with such problems.
E-gmat's methodological approach to solving verbal problems (pre-thinking) has helped me approach the problems in more systematic way and save time solving even some of the most complicated SC and CR questions.
The Verbal live course from e-GMAT is an excellent course for any person preparing for GMAT verbal. It’s especially designed for non-native speakers.
The approach it follows is very user friendly. It clearly explains you each and every concept in a very detailed yet simple way supported by examples wherever required. The detailed explanation of each answer choice and the process it follows develops an in depth understanding. The way to approach any problem, the steps required and the method to eliminate wrong answers are absolutely fabulous.
Really loved the course and the adopted methodology. Great work done in creation of this course.
I registered for the e-gmat course in August'14 after completing the GMAT in Nov'11. I was not happy with my score, and decided to sign up. Prior to this, I went with the Manhattan course. I now see a difference between e-gmat and Manhattan.
I would now say Go for it without second thought! and its Something that is more in depth and user friendly.Earlier I was quite apprehensive of the whole online tutoring format but surprisingly I found e-gmat to be very user friendly and structured. It is neatly sub-divided into groups with topic wise heads ranging in difficulty and have very good quizzes to test your concepts. Quant portion illustrates what excatly Gmat asks for with laying all the stress on the core topics.
I suggest that anyone looking for Online course in Quant , Go for E-GMAT and start preparing. Good Luck.
As an Indian student, I was quite confident about quant. But, when I started the GMAT preparation, I came to know that it's not as simple as I had considered.
Though my fundamentals are clear, still I was lagging in many sections. So, I decided to join e-gmat quant.
e-mat has well defined course content and new concept of presentation that gives me confidence in the advanced and hard questions. They cover all kind of concept and questions
(easy to hard) which built up my confidence. Course content having lots of practice questions and much more.
So, I really recommend this course to every gmat students.
I took my GMAT ( 2nd attempt) and I got a 710. Q-50, V-37.There maybe many people who score much better in verbal than what I have got, but I started my GMAT journey with V25. I have come a long way from knowing nothing about SC ( I used to guess, Used to eliminate answers thinking " this choice doesn't sounds good") to having an acurracy of around 90%. I used to think that CR was my strong section with accuracy of around 60% ( cos as compared to SC I could at least figure out what was happening in CR). Thankfully now I have got the hang of right approach- "pre -thinking". I owe this to egmat, for making Verbal interesting for a person like me ( before egmat I never believed verbal can be logical, I thought it was more of mugging up grammar and answering random questions). IR score also improved from 5 to 8. I just followed egmat stuff as bible. Never looked for any explanation from any other source.
Thanks a lot to the whole team for helping me out with everything. You people have certainly made verbal easy for non native
When I started with my preparations for GMAT, I enrolled for a free trial version of e-GMAT. There I got a chance to attend a webinar by Rajat. He talked about the strategy to tackle the GMAT. This was the turning point for me because never before has anyone described this so perfectly. I immediately purchased the Verbal Live Prep course from e-GMAT.
I am a not native English Speaker so I struggled with the grammar . Sentence Correction was a nightmare for me. I have previously read the books from many reputed GMAT prep companies. But the problem was that all of them focused on the rules and didn't gave importance on their applications.
GMAT is all about the application of the concepts and this is what taught at e-GMAT. The concepts told by Rajat, Payal and Shraddha were simply superb. The fear to handle a Sentence Correction is now no more and I try to handle the questions in a logical way while understanding the meaning.
The Verbal Live Prep course offers not only the concepts for SC, CR and RC but also gives the chance to attend the live
workshops. This is an amazing course which I would like to recommend for all serious GMAT takers who are facing difficulty with the Verbal Section.
Believe me this is the one stop place to end all your worries. Just go for it !!!
I love the new e-GMAT platform. It’s helps me pinpoint my weak areas and continue to attack them. The platform allows you to test your understanding of the concepts and requires that you meet a certain threshold before moving to more advanced concepts. I’m a visual learner, so this is great. e-GMAT has the most comprehensive verbal concept review I’ve seen online. Initially, I struggled with Reading Comprehensive but after going through the Reading Comprehensive modules, I saw immediate results. I definitely recommend verbal live prep curriculum. The additional weekend workshops complement the verbal concepts.
Also, definitely be sure to check out the free strategy webinars...
