Rajat mastered the skill of taking standardized tests at an early age by scoring better than 99 percentile on most exams including the CET (Indian equivalent of SAT), GATE (Indian equivalent of GRE including technical GRE), and the GMAT. Rajat stands out as one of the two students in the country who were selected by Nokia Research (NRC) Germany for a fully funded Master’s degree at IIT Delhi and subsequent internship at NRC Germany.
Post MBA (from Babson where he received full fellowship), Rajat was hired by Honeywell as a Marketing and Business Development Manager to grow its wireless business. During his 4 years at Honeywell, he helped grow the business from $2M to $25M. In August 2010, Rajat founded e-GMAT with Payal Tandon to fulfill his dream to democratize Test Prep education by leveraging technology to provide high quality, personalized, and effective education at affordable prices.

I enrolled for the Verbal Live Prep course at e-gmat in March. However, after procrastinating for 3 months i started doing the online modules provided by e-gmat in July. I started off with the Sentence correction section and i was simply amazed by the quality of their content. Each and every concept is covered in detailed and the post quizzes after each concept cement the concept in your mind (I cursed myself for wasting those 3 months).
I then started off with CR online modules and i also attended the live sessions taken by Rajat. Rajat is -the guy- for CR, the prethinking strategies really helped me a lot. I was really bad at CR but i have improved tremendously post the egmat CR course.
Lastly, the point that stands out for me is the support that e-gmat provides. Each of my query, till date, has been responded to within 24 hours. I would want to take this opportunity to thank Deepak for clearing all my doubts. I have seen significant improvement in the verbal section in the mocks that i have taken and i would owe that success to egmat. I hope to write a similar debrief thanking egmat once i take the actual exam.
I was introduced to e-GMAT course for verbal live prep through GMAT club and I am extremely satisfied with the course Content, the way verbal live sessions were scheduled and the delivery of the course.
Sentence correction section has explained all the fundamentals required to give you an upper hand in accessing the situation and increasing your accuracy in getting the right option. The live sessions by various faculties has been carried out in a systematic manner and interactive environment built in the session was so helpful.
There has been gradual increase in verbal score as we progress through every section and also e-GMAT has made the sessions very interesting.
Being a business Analyst by profession in a global company, working with people on the west and east who fall under completely different time zones, I know how difficult it is to manage both work and studies simultaneously. Going through a proper classroom training practically doesn't work because I have tried it. Plus it has various disadvantages like missing classes due to work, coping up with the program timelines etc. For people like me who don't compromise, e-GMAT is the road to take for scoring 700+. I am able to study at my own speed and convenient schedule. Plus I get not to miss any session as they are always recorded.
The concepts covered are deep and fantastically crafted especially for non natives like me. The approach and the way the whole program is designed & structured is really commendable.
Each quant concept is explained thoroughly with state of the art examples and explanations. The presenters are really skilled. Everything is to the point and they know what 700+ score which makes eGMAT stand out from rest of the other GMAT courses in the market The eGMAT scolaranium is the best self-assessment tool any aspirant could own. Thanks e-GMAT.
I highly recommend anyone considering a GMAT course to consider for E-GMAT verbal online course.Like most people I was contemplating whether the live online course would be as effective as an in-person course, but after completing the E-GMAT course I can confidently say that the format of the live online course coupled with the technology makes for a learning environment which far exceeds the capabilities of an in-person classroom. The instructors were top-notch.I never felt that class was getting boring and losing my attention span, which is a pretty amazing feat thinking about some of the items the GMAT covers.
I purchased the Quant course after my initial purchase of Verbal Online (the Verbal Online is extremely great in case you did not already know ). Again took a few free sessions before making the purchase. I was really happy with the content and went ahead with the buy. The course material is exactly based on concepts that are tested on the GMAT and provides just the right amount of information required for the test. Again, no rote learning so it gets much easier to understand how to apply concepts even if one comes across new questions on the test. The practice questions in Quant are well selected and cover a gamut of concepts. I am really happy that I decided to go with e-GMAT for my preparation !! :)
Not being from the science background, I was finding Quants to be a difficult section for the GMAT. But, once I signed up for the Quants Course, it made it much simpler. Chapters such as Number Properties, Geometry, Algebra which were quite tough for me in the start became quite simpler after learning the concepts. As the GMAT is highly dominated with Engineering students, The course helped me to catch them in the race within no time. Great teaching methods and quizzes has helped me considerably in building my concepts. Kudos to Rajat Sir and his team to come up with such a simplified course. Thank You.
My first mock test assessed me below par in verbal session. I was upset with my scores and then started analysing some on-line courses which could help me in improving my verbal scores. My analysis resulted in eGMAT on-line Verbal Live prep.I enrolled in eGMAT in the month of Jan'15. All 3 verbal sessions are well organized and the explanation are very clear. Tutors are expertise and are open handed to help us in any moment. And now I'm glad that my verbal scores are improving day by day. Right now, I'm confident in cracking the GMAT with my dream score. I take this moment to thank eGMAT for helping me in verbal preparation.
The course is structured beautifully. The basics are taught, followed by short tests to put the theory into practice. This helps completely understand the concept. The practice tests and the advanced tests help strengthen your foundation.
Now comes , for me, the best part. It's called Scholaranium. Its a tool which helps you create your own quizzes for Verbal. It also calculates your accuracy and ability scores. Tracking and reviewing your answered questions is made very easy.It is absolutely wonderful.
It is actually quite easy to consider quantitative section as the easier section. I made that mistake. I was over confident in my quant ability and i realized that quite late in my preparation. But once i started the Quant course, i felt at ease as the structured approach put me at ease and my confidence in my quant ability grew once more.
In the end, this is the GMAT course you should only consider. The approach to Verbal and Quant makes things extremely easy and the course also helps you develop and enhance your test taking skills.
I am yet to take my GMAT, but i have been doing well in my mocks and i hope for the best.
Hi All,
I wrote the GMAT exam last year December, only to be extremely disappointed with my scores; both my Quant- and Verbal scores were below the 60th percentile. These were not the scores that I had in mind. The hardest part was coming to terms with the fact that I would have to go through this whole process again. But after countless hours of research and surfing blogs I came across e-GMAT and I have been using e-GMAT’s courses ever since. My next exam appointment is approaching fast and since using e-GMAT there has been a definite improvement in both my accuracy and time management.
Best regards,
Corrie Jordaan
Team,
After looking for several options out and even trying out with class room training, My accuracy in sentence correction have hardly showed any improvement. I took up the verbal Live Prep After 2 weeks of preparation I felt, I should go for verbal live prep to check my progress and get an opportunity to discuss with trainers. It was a better improvement from my last trial of OG. But still I am trying to review and I am confident I can reach my target verbal score with additional 1 month more preparation. The support is excellent from Rajat and team. They have a product for every suit. and one can take step by step approach. I am looking forward for my GMAT appointment
