I am a non-native English speaker and I used to find it difficult cracking verbal section from the beginning. I tried MGMAT and other sources to improve my Verbal skills but I never felt comfortable cracking the exam. I visited GMAT club one day and started reviewing the courses available online as I needed best course available in the market and it should be available online. E-GMAT came as life savior for the requirement I was looking for. I started falling in love with the SC material, the concept files, practice files & detailed explanations. This course not only helped me to over come my worry about verbal but only improved my analysis skills. I learned focusing on meaning for SC. E-GMAT course provides information on where to focus to solve questions and how to identify the conclusion when it comes to CR. This helped me to quickly analyze CR passages and pre-think the answer before analyzing the answer options.
Overall, it is a great tool and it relieved me from my worry that will I be able to overcome the verbal part in GMAT section
I am one of the registered students with E-GMAT (The best course out there for non-natives). I wrote GMAT last year & was not happy with my score, and then I enrolled for some free sessions organized by Rajat & Payal regarding GMAT strategy & SC sessions, after that I took the right decision of enrolling for E-GMAT. Since then with each & every session I have seen improvement in my verbal section. Personally, I feel that e-gmat is very detailed oriented course for SC, CR and RC, must for any GMAT aspirant. It teaches you the application, not just the rules. The live sessions are simply awesome. Team is doing a great job of answering questions and going through the content. Along with verbal they have very Quant exercise & concept building exercises. They have very good compilation of tricks that can be handy in Quant section. And Scholaranium from EGMAT is your best friend, who tells you about your weak areas & practice questions for improvement. I am glad I found the course. Thanks to e-gmat team, you guys are awesome!!! My next GMAT exam is in July, I'll continue to spend time going through their content. I would recommend this course for anyone who wants to cross 700+ score barrier in GMAT.
I had signed up for egmat verbal live prepartion and found the course to be very helpful. Being a non native speaker i did not have much idea regarding the intricacies of sentence construction, grammar and sentence comprehension. However this course is a good point for building strong foundation for the primary concepts of sentence building. The course contents are easy to understand and the live sessions are interactive and stresses to relevant gmat like questions. The assesments at the end of the courses also helps to understand the current level of understanding of the concepts and their explanations are self explanatory. I would highly recomend this course for non native speakers in english.
It was september 2014 and i was feeling so bad that i no longer wanted to take GMAT again. I just put in my best effort so far and yet i did miserably in GMAT, especially in Verbal. Long before starting my preparation one of my friend suggested me to take a course for atleast verbal section. But i being complacent didnt give any heed. Later after doing so badly i felt i should have gone for a Verbal course. So i decided to enrolll for a verbal course this time around. After reading a lot of success debriefs in GMATclub.com, i understood e-gmat offers the best verbal course and also a 4 point guarantee. But still i wasnt 100% convinced and thats when i read one of the testimonials in their website. It was by one of my friend who too did poorly in his first attempt and scored a 700 in his 2nd attempt by improving drastically in verbal. The very next day i enrolled for the E-gmat verbal live prep course without thinking twice.
Pros:
1. Affordable
2. Value for money
3. 3-step process for sectence correction and the prethinking approach for CR is amazing.
4. Course doesnt just cater to GMAT but also helps improve overall verbal ability.
5. Scholaranium is an awesome tool that helps one to practice with timing and helps asses one's ability & accuracy.
6. Live sessions really help in leveraging one's understanding of each concepts.
Cons:
Software glitches when viewing the course in Ipad.
I'm clearly a non native and the course felt taylor made for me. The course has audio video lessons, on line lessons on the weekend and a final workshop when you end a topic, such as SC. Also during the course I wrote several question in the forum and I got really fast and good answer. I totally recommend it, hopefully I can share with you my great GMAT score soon.
A took the GMAT last year and got a 660 (Q49,V30) after a while of self evaluation, I concluded that I really needed to study the bases of SC and apply a process for each CR, even if this will take me a while to master.
I registered for a E-gmat Verbal Live prep after attending one of its free session. Being a non native English speaker I found this course very useful. Each lesson is structured so well. Every week I do prerequisites for the live session, live session and homework. This helps me stay focused and committed in my verbal preparation. The instructors are highly talented and the way they deliver the content in the online session is phenomenal. The live session is very interactive and I could get my doubt clarified on the same class. Even while going through the concepts file, e-gmat ensure that all my doubts are solved via the support team.
This is one of the best products I've ever come by. I have tried to attend various classes, but my quant did not improve significantly until I went through this. It is the most cost-effective way too ensure that you are well-covered before heading for the final exam!
I must say that the most effective part of it is the way the lessons are thought out. They simply only cover the most important elements - those that will make or break. You certainly can retain a whole lot more information using this as the audio and visual effects makes the experience more concrete and helps to retain it in memory.
I took e-gmat's live course. It was worth every penny. I think the best way to utilize the course was to target my weak areas for me they were SC and CR. Ensure you complete the pre requisites before you go for the Live modules and you are done.I think it helped me a lot because it is all compartmentalize so you don't have to go though each and every concept file.
Also the level of support during the class OR over the E mail has been really good with majority of queries being resolved in legitimate time and to satisfaction.
It's totally worth it, you won't find any other test prep company with such a package.
Follow "the process"and I am sure you will excel !
Without an iota of doubt I recommend e-GMAT verbal live to every GMAT aspirant.
Hi, after trying many sources I used e-GMAT course and after using it i could actually see the difference. I could get my concepts clear and ready to apply. I recommend e-GMAT quant as well as verbal live prep. Sessions are very interactive and I could go as per my pace in the course. The concepts are explained very nicely and backed up with exercises that helped me to build a strong base and recall the concepts later when required. The step by step progression method in the course has also been beneficial for me as it kept me disciplined.
I am a GMAT re-taker and was struggling at verbal section from quite a long time. In my first attempt, 600(Q51,V21). I Scored pretty good at Maths as I always did, but at the same time struggled at Verbal. And then I came across e-gmat's verbal live prep course from forums. I attended 2 free live sessions and found them really amazing.
The live sessions and concept classes are so comprehensive that they do not miss a concept. The advantage in E-GMAT is that the course starts with basic level and moves to advanced level once you gain proficiency in the basic level.
Since the time I started with this course, I could see a huge improvement in my approach to attempt verbal questions. I really believe that this time I should get a good score in verbal.
Hence, I recommend E-GMAT verbal live prep to each and everyone who is looking for improvement in their verbal sections.
Thanks E-GMAT for the wonderful course and all the help provided.
