Apt center to give the exam if giving it in New Delhi

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I gave my GMAT in July, ’15 and this was second attempt at GMAT, both at the same centre. There a few points about the centre –

Pros:

1. The centre is handled by Pearsons itself and thus the quality of services is good. The staff is very polite and has good knowledge of the processes involved such as identification etc.

2. It is easily accessible via public transport. Sometimes there is traffic as the centre is located in busy community centre, so if the exam is in the afternoon slot, keeping some buffer time would be a good idea.

3. The noise level inside the centre is very low. Apart from occasional horns (that too not very loud) the place is free from external disturbances. There is no disturbance due to external noises. They also provide ear plugs.

4. The lobby is big enough to walk around and relax yourself during breaks. The washroom is clean and well maintained.

5. The environment inside the test room is nice to get your concentration right and your brain running with proper lighting and comfortable AC temperature.

6. Computer screen is large enough to focus, and the keyboard and mouse are new and comfortable to work with

Cons:

1. The centre has about 10 seats per slot. This can cause a little bit of a disturbance if you are among the first 1-2 to be seated because by the time the last test taker is seated you have already started the exam this cause some disturbance. Also during the breaks many test takers come out simultaneously. This by itself is not the problem, but when compared to only one restroom in the facility, it becomes a straight negative. I had to wait for my turn in the first break, and thus got a bit late and lost 2.5 minutes in my quant section.

2. Parking is very difficult to find. It’s a community centre and all the parking is taken up by commercial vehicles. If you can do take a cab, auto or metro. Though if you want to come by car, you can find parking at the metro station nearby (I think its Green Park metro station)

Overall my experience with the centre was between good, if not excellent (Got late due to waiting to go to restroom).

Test Center Review - Pearso VUE, Yusuf Sarai New Delhi

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by post count [?]

I've taken GMAT twice - once at the Dwarka Centre and once at the Yusuf Sarai Center New Delhi. Well, I must say they are exact opposite of each other.

In terms of staff, Pearson Center has really cooperative staff who actually listen to your whims and fantasies.
They have their own washroom unlike the Dwarka EduPro centre where I had to go from 4th to 2nd floor and into a ladies toilet that was actually a flooded common toilet... Yukkk..

Also, Pearson center's test room is sound proof and quite comfy. The PCs are bigger, charis are good and most importantly, the separators from fellow test takers is really good. At EduPro it was like a primitive cyber cafe with not more than a foot high separators... no use.

I was an outstation candidate so cant comment on parking space but the nearby area is good with great connectivity by metro trains.

I would really suggest that whether u have to postpond/prepond your appointment, dont book EduPro centre. Go for Pearson center.

Thanks for reading. All the best.

GMAT Test Center Review

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I really liked this test center. This was the third time I took the exam. This center was very accommodating. I have asthma and as a result i was coughing pretty often at the time when i took the exam. They let me take the cough drops and my asthma pump. Additionally, the log in and out was quick. During GMAT you get quick 8 minutes break and the representative was very good in terms they would enter their log in information when i am actually on the break so all i have to click is enter. Every sec counts when the break is only 8 mins. So, I thought it helped me when i enter the test center with 30 secs or less left.

A great alternative to buenos aires

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

The staff is friendly and very eager to help. The institute as well as the test room is very clean. The test room has only five computers. The test center is close to Montevideo downtown and is easy to find.
Regarding to noise level, the place was very quiet and I was the only person taking the exam, these are perfect conditions for taking your GMAT.
One negative aspect is that I had to lose one minute or so, in order to get more paper for the quantitative section. I had to get up of my chair and go to the door in order to call the staff to bring me more paper.
However, I want to make a special mention to the staff, during my exam the computer froze and they solved the problem in a matter of minutes. After I was done with my exam they let me use one of the computers to communicate with my family.
Another positive aspect of this test center is that it usually has more available dates than the test center in buenos aires.
Finally, if I had to retake the exam I would definitely return to this place

Almost perfect

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by post count [?]

Staff: Good, Polite
Hardware: Good, Monitors are placed on the CPUs so the monitor is relatively a little high. No technical issues or uncomfortable keyboard/mouse
Locker: Size is good. You can fit in a backpack. Also, you can keep things outside too
Environment: Quiet. Earplugs are provided and I would recommend that you use it. A little cold

Notes
They have a water cooler so you might not want to carry a bottle.
You can carry a pull over inside the testing area.
Around 13 people can give the exam simultaneously

The area is known for traffic congestion so it's better to take appointment in the afternoon or morning.

You'll have to wait outside in case you come earlier than an hour before your appointment. There is no place to sit outside.

It is situated in Solitaire Corporate Park. You have to enter through smaller entrance, ahead of the main entrance. From there you enter into the first building to the left. The center is on the first floor. There will be watchmen to guide you there

Gmat Test Center: Dwarka, New Delhi

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by post count [?]

The center is located in Dwarka Sector 23 market and well connected through Metro stations in sector 9 and Sector 21 (little bit closer to this)
It has seating arrangement for 6 people at a time and is more like a Internet cafe. There are lockers available but the overall space is bit congested. Since we have Airport runaways nearby, there are flights taking off and touching down. You also have a school nearby and during afternoon hours you have lot of honking going on as there are buses and cars parked around the market.
There is a toilet which is about 100 meters from the center and you better walk fast to use the same.
Morning slots and evening slots will be better although I have not uses those slots.
Car parking is free and better to park it in complex or back side.

GMAT yusuf sarai test center

Excellent place, near by metro station is green park. There were a lot of landmarks given so it was easy to locate.

If you are driving then finding parking space can be a daunting task so t better to take metro or auto.

Staff was very professional, made everything clear to me, they also gave me 2 markers and ear plugs without even asking.During the breaks they were quick and they valued my time.

Lockers were large enough and restroom(small) was clean.

Noise level was zero, still i got ear plugs, proper light and AC temperature was comfortable.

The computer was large it was easy to focus, mouse and keyboard were also good.

Professional Employees at Pearson VUE , Bangalore

I took one of my GMATs at Pearson Professional Center, Dickenson Road, Bangalore, India. For those who are not aware, there are two GMAT centers in Bangalore – NTTF in Electronics City and Pearson Professional Center in Dickenson Road. My First exam was at Dickenson Road.

Was the test center conveniently located?
- Was it easy to find:- Yes It is easy to find. Located at the centre of the city, very near to Brigade road.
- Were the staff polite and respectful:- we get awesome reception from well trained staff.
- Were there proper facilities and restrooms:- Very comfortable testing experience.
- What was the noise level from external sources (street, lights, A/C, etc)? The only noise we notice of keyboards for the first half hour or 45 mins of the exam. Otherwise no disturbing noise throughout the exam.
- Why would you retake the test here or in another location:- I would love to retake exam in this centre because what I found in the other center NTTF , electronic city was the problem with rest rooms. We have to move out of the test center in breaks to use restroom, which is there 2-3 mins walking distance within the same campus.

GMAT Test Center Review: Pearson Professional Center, Bangalore

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by post count [?]

This post is about GMAT Test Center Review so that others can make a good decision.

I took both my GMATs at Pearson Professional Center, Dickenson Road, Bangalore, India. For those who are not aware, there are two GMAT centers in Bangalore – NTTF in Electronics City and Pearson Professional Center in Dickenson Road. I chose Pearson although NTTF is closer to my area because I had got some negative feedbacks about the NTTF Center.

I visited the Pearson Center a couple of days before my actual GMAT test day so that I don’t get lost on test day. Although the test center is located in Bangalore’s prime region, the center is still in a peaceful area. So traffic noise does not create a disturbance while taking test. On both occasions I had scheduled my exam in the morning session (9 AM slot). I reached the test center around 45 minutes before scheduled time. I had to sign on a visitors register and was asked to switch off my mobile before entering the test center. The staff was very friendly and professional. We were some 7 test takers. The lady on the front desk collected our passports gave us a leaflet to read the Terms of Agreement. She then called us one by one to take signature, photograph, and palm vein scan. I was not even asked for the print-out of the GMAT appointment confirmation. I then put my bag in the locker assigned to me. After these formalities, I was taken to test room and my palm vein was scanned again before I was allowed to enter the test room.

The second lady was also friendly and professional. She explained some test center rules and gave me marker and erasable pads. During the test, I didn’t face any issues or disturbance. I took both of my 8 minute breaks. The test administrator promptly came to assist me whenever I raised my hand to take my minute break. My palm vein was scanned every time I came out of the test room and entered the test room.

Washroom is just outside the test room. After I finished my test, the administrator assisted me outside the test room. I came to the front desk and collected my unofficial score report. It is important to collect your unofficial score report because the Authentication Code to assess the Official report is printed ONLY on the unofficial score report. After coming out of the test center, I had to sign again on the visitors register and then left the venue.

Overall, it was a great GMAT test experience with no problems of any kind on part of Test Center and Staff. I would highly recommend the Pearson Test Center for anyone planning to take GMAT in Bangalore. One advice for test day, Do not carry and reading material to the test center. You will not be able to assess it.
Hope this review helps.

Yousuf Sarai - Pearson, Great location, Tricky parking and a good test center

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

The test center as written in all the reviews above is very conveniently located. But I drove down there on my test day and parking was a big issue in the morning. Apparently all the spots in the area are taken up by taxis in the morning until about 9:30 a.m. There's the metro parking just beside the center, but make sure to inform the fellow there that you'll be leaving at 1 p.m. (in case the test is in the morning of course). Otherwise it's impossible to get your car out before 6 in the evening as the parking area gets solidly packed. It is best to use the metro.

The test center staff was very professional and took me through the paces just as the GMAC shows on its videos. The seating is extremely comfortable and the test room was well insulated. Overall a very delightful test experience.

Thanks to the guys there, whose names I couldnt find out - maybe it was my sheer nervousness :P
