onTrack - Brilliant!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Strengths:

easy of access, interface, content

I have thoroughly enjoyed using onTrack - the interface is very clean and the content is thorough and tailored to each school. I appreciate that along with the videos are documents to help brainstorm and pinpoint what each school is looking for. onTrack also works really well on mobile which is unique to other on-demand MBA app prep services. This is a small price to pay when you think about the value that you are getting out of the comprehensive and well-organized information that Jeremy and the team have put together. Highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a service that will make you as ready as possible in your candidacy to a top MBA program!

Great MBA App Companion With Both Depth and Breadth

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Strengths:

- Covers the whole application process
- Provides the overall view and how to position your story based on your background and goals
- Dives deep into each school, its values, culture, academics, location, etc.
- Discusses each school application steps with detail
- Provides interview simulation environment, with questions specific for that school
- Provides curated materials that save a lot of time (e.g. link to student ambassadors pages for each school was very useful when you want to get in touch with students)

Would make the product better:

Cover more schools!

It was a great companion during my application process, from creating my overall story to minute details of different schools. I used it in every step: Learning about schools, story telling about my life and goals, refining story for each school, filling the application form and finally, preparing for the interviews.
Saved me a lot of time with the content that was gathered and curated. Things like Insider Guides, application forms & questions, example of weak and strong essays, examples of interview questions & responses, student contact pages, etc. If I wanted to gather all this info by myself, it would take a HUGE amount of time from me. But thanks to these curated info, I used the extra time to get in touch with students, attend adcom info sessions and online coffee chats etc.
I applied to 10 schools in r1 (I'm EXHAUSTED! :D ), got invited to interview in every school that I applied, except one.

The Ultimate MBA Application Companion

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Strengths:

Provides a personalized schedule, school-specific insights and interview preparation

Would make the product better:

Although I have enjoyed using this product and have found it extremely useful, I believe the interface could be made more user friendly. The product provides a customized schedule of modules based on an initial assessment. However, goals and schools are bound to shift during the application journey. It would be beneficial to have a way to subtract or add modules into the schedule. While it does allow access to modules separately, integrating this flexibility into the main schedule would make it more user friendly.

OnTrack offers detailed insights into most top schools, but expanding its database to include more schools with complete information would make it even more comprehensive.

OnTrack has truly been a one stop-shop for everything I needed to complete MBA applications. It provides a tailor-made schedule of modules based on an initial assessment. Simply completing the modules alone gave me enough insight to tackle multiple applications confidently. Since I signed up late, I was short on time and had to be selective with which modules I focused on. I would recommend signing up as early as possible to take advantage of all the content.

One of the more challenging parts of the MBA application is researching the different schools. OnTrack does a great job of covering the basics and essentials of most schools. This was a huge time-saver and gave me a solid foundation before diving into my own research.

OnTrack also provides modules on essay writing and resume preparation, including examples that help you navigate these challenging aspects of an application. I especially loved the interview prep modules. They offer an interface with a repository of school-specific interview questions, where you can record yourself answering them. Watching these recordings back helped me spot and improve any habits I didn’t realize I had. There’s no limit to how many times you can practice, which is perfect for prepping. They also provide specific questions to help you get ready for the video assessments required by some schools.

Overall, I feel OnTrack is an excellent investment for anyone working on their MBA applications. It is comprehensive and gives you a strong structure to work with.

Comprehensive

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Strengths:

onTrack provided a clean and comprehensive breakdown of all aspects of the MBA application process in an easily usable and digestible format.
The interview practice and school modules were particularly useful to me.

Would make the product better:

My only recommendation is that it was easier to add or subtract modules in the onTrack user interface.

onTrack by mbaMission is a fantastic product that delivers exceptional information in a non-biased and easy to digest format. From career goals to school breakdowns, if you are targeting any T15 school, onTrack is a fantastic tool that remains relevant throughout the application process. onTrack pointed me in the right direction for program selection and the interview preparation tool is a fantastic way to practice interviews in a low-stress, realistic format. onTrack is the prefect companion to an mbaMission consultant or as a stand alone product. The combination of onTrack and Kate Richardson's fantastic consulting services provided the structure, information, and practice to successfully translate my nontraditional background into an MBA success story.
