Stellar Coach

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I worked with Jenifer on my application for 2 schools.

She's a world-class coach, deeply knowleadgable about the ins and outs of the MBA application process.

Engaging with Jenifer is not about “just applying for an MBA”, but the best way to reflect on who you are, why you’re here, and what good you want to do in the world.

She is a compassionate and caring person, and working with her was transformative in many ways.

At a time when every consultant discouraged me, Jenifer took the bet and was there throughout the process to help me reflect, craft, and sharpen my story.

In the end, I was accepted at H / W ($) and Booth.

If you can, I highly recommend to work with Jenifer during your MBA application journey.

The PERFECT Mentor, Coach, and Supporter - Admitted to HSW!

During my MBA application process, I had the absolute pleasure to work with Jenifer who truly surpassed all my expectations as a coach and mentor. Through her guidance, expertise, and unwavering support, I was admitted to HBS, Stanford GSB, and Wharton / Lauder. She has my unequivocal endorsement.

I worked with Jenifer through Fortuna's comprehensive school packages. Ever since my first conversation with her, she showed complete investment in me and my story as someone from a lower income, diverse, immigrant background. She dedicated a lot of time and energy to get to know ME - understand my journey, character, and aspirations - outside of just the applications, which made me feel like I always had a trusted friend and supporter in my corner throughout the process.

Once we had established a strong foundation, Jenifer amazed me yet again with her incredible talent for storytelling and coaching. She spent countless hours between R1 and R2 helping me reflect on all the pivotal moments and meaningful experiences in my life. Given her extensive coaching experience, Jenifer always knew the exact probing questions to ask to get me to reflect further and bring out truly authentic stories and ultimately helped me craft essays I was proud to submit. Her comments were always timely, thorough, and thoughtful, and made a meaningful difference in my writing process.

Jenifer is truly a one-of-a-kind coach, and her expertise, passion and dedication are unparalleled. I will always 100% recommend her to anyone going through the process.

After speaking to several local and international consultants and being discouraged by a few, I was fortunate enough to have connected with Jenifer. When I reached out to Fortuna Admissions, I was very impressed by their approach of letting me have chemistry calls (also known as the free consultation call) where I was able to speak to 2 recommended coaches based on my profile and requirements. Both my chemistry conversations were remarkably positive, but with Jenifer, I connected instantly because of her genuine and warm personality and the fact that she took the time (and even went beyond the scheduled time) to get to know ME and MY expectations, even in our free consultation!
From the very beginning, Jenifer was incredibly insightful, organized, and professional - qualities that I was looking for in my MBA coach. She took the time to get to know me as a person, my history, my goals, and my unique strengths and weaknesses and then crafted a personalized plan that catered to my needs, including recommendation reviews, essay reviews, and interview preparation.
I received an acceptance with a $20K scholarship from one of my top 2 schools.
I truly believe that I could not have achieved this success without her help. Jenifer was instrumental in helping me find and articulate my vision and story, something that I had been struggling with for months. Jenifer was also very flexible with her approach. For example, there were times when I wanted to brainstorm some stories/ideas with her and felt that a call would be a better use of time as opposed to sharing a draft and she patiently agreed. Also, I appreciated the fact that she connected me with another Fortuna coach for the Mock interview since she was from one of my target schools.
There were times in this journey when the nerves got to me but my favorite quality about Jenifer was that throughout the process, she was a constant source of encouragement and support. Conversations with her would instill in me a sense of calm and confidence, which I think was the game changer in my MBA application journey.
Overall, I would highly recommend Jenifer to anyone seeking the perfect combination of an expert guide and a support system in their MBA application journey. She is truly exceptional, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with her!

Best Coach I Could Ask For! Kind, Genuine, and an Expert in The Field!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I worked with Jenifer Raver from Fortuna Admissions as part of my MBA application journey, and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an admissions consultant!

Thanks to Jenifer, I was accepted to 3 out of 4 of my target schools (including H/W) and waitlisted at the GSB.

From the beginning, I knew I wanted someone “in my corner” to root for me, while providing expert guidance throughout the application and interview process. Jenifer was the best coach I could have asked for. As an international student/third-culture kid, I knew I had a unique story to tell, but wasn't quite sure how to bring this forward in my application. Jenifer saw this from our very first intro call, and we instantly bonded thanks to her experience working abroad and living in Southeast Asia. Over the next few months, Jenifer helped me narrow down my target schools, patiently walked me through each essay/app requirement, and acted as an empathic sounding board as I reflected on experiences that shaped who I was, and where I was hoping to go. This was especially integral as I crafted my narrative on “why MBA.”

Like an expert storyteller, Jenifer spent countless hours combing through my essays, and helped me weave a cohesive narrative that connected both past and present, professional and personal. As we transitioned to additional applications, Jenifer shared clarity on what each school was looking for, and gave insider knowledge on each school’s unique culture.

I also appreciated Jenifer’s proactivity – early on, she helped me update my professional resume to be MBA-friendly, while helping me shape a comprehensive recommender package (contents of which ultimately came up in my interview!)

After my applications were submitted, Jenifer hosted a series of mock interviews for each of my schools, culminating in detailed debrief sessions where she played recorded clips and provided feedback on how I could do better. Jenifer was incredibly respectful, and encouraged me to be my best authentic self in each interview.

Looking back, I don’t think I would’ve been able to embark on the time-intensive and highly introspective MBA application process, if it weren’t for Jenifer’s guidance. Her personable and genuine approach to coaching immediately dispelled any fears I had about the often-daunting process. From hourlong essay workshopping sessions, to shorter messages that shared “good vibes” on interview days, Jenifer’s dedication to her clients shines through.

I highly recommend Jenifer to anyone looking for a consultant that will help bring your best self forward to the MBA admissions committee. You will not regret it!

An unbeatable experience with Jenifer!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I had such a delightful experience with Jenifer, who helped me build my story end-to-end for my application. From our very first call, I knew that Jenifer was the perfect advisor for me as she helped me build my narrative, bringing out strengths that translated to what my specific school was looking for, particularity since my MBA program of interest had an international twist. Jenifer was so kind, thoughtful yet so diligent in ensuring that every aspect of my application that I put forward to the admissions office was intentional, which I truly appreciate! Although I made it to the interview and was not admitted to my school of choice, in hindsight, I wouldn't have been able to make it this far without her! I highly recommend Jenifer because is the epitome of what you would call a mastermind when it comes to building a cohesive, memorable and impactful MBA application - she is just THAT great! Thank you, Jenifer for everything!

An Amazing Coach

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I worked with Jenifer through Fortuna admissions for my MBA application, mostly focusing on INSEAD. Jenifer sold me on her warm and genuine personality the firs time we met through the free 1 hour consulting call. I took Fortuna’s 8-hour services to refine my resume and essays and polish my interview skills.

Throughout the process, she continuously encouraged me to be myself and share my authentic story in the essays. She patiently reviewed through all my drafts and helped me hit some impossible word count limits. Her patience is one of the best thing that supported me through a very challenging time of application.

I was beyond grateful to receive offers and Forte fellowship from all top MBA programs (INSEAD, LBS, Yale SOM, Columbia, Kellogg) and highly recommend Jenifer to anyone going through the MBA application process.

Extremely competent and passionate coach

I worked with Jenifer through Fortuna admissions for my INSEAD application. I was apprehensive of the cost of Fortuna's consultancy when I was initially scouting for a consultant to work with. However, one free consultation call with Jenifer was all that it took for me to know that I wanted to work with her and her only. I took Fortuna's 1-school full package

She strives to bring out the best in you throughout the application process and she helps THE REAL YOU truly shine on the application. She patiently worked her magic through all my drafts and helped me hit some impossible word count limits. Despite her claiming several times that she isn't my therapist, she helped me dig really deep and process my thoughts into an application that I was 100% satisfied with.

I would absolutely recommend her to anyone in need of an MBA admissions consultant.

Working with Jenifer was such a pleasure and made my MBA application process so much more enjoyable. She took great care in listening to my stories so that I could write up the perfect essays. We had such great rapport that I opened up to her about some parts of my life that I only open up to my closest friends. She took great care even after the essays were done, making sure that I was well prepped for the interviews. She would check in regularly and send good vibes my way when she knew an interview was coming up. I would strongly recommend Jenifer to whoever is afraid of starting their MBA journey. 10/10 she will support and give you full confidence you need! Thank you Jenifer!

Jenifer came highly recommended to me by a close friend who had worked with her in a previous cycle and earned admission to GSB (along with several other amazing programs). I’m so grateful for that introduction: from my very first phone call with Jenifer, I knew that she cared deeply about getting to know me and helping me tell my story.

I’d decided to work with a consultant relatively late in the admissions process and initially felt stressed about the timeline. I was applying to 3 schools, and I had to retake the GMAT, brief my recommenders, update my resume, write my essays, and fill out applications all in the span of about 10 weeks. Jenifer put me at ease and helped me put together a realistic gameplan to tackle all of this. She was incredibly supportive and spent hours helping me craft my personal and professional stories in a way that was authentic and compelling. Her guidance and wisdom were instrumental in helping me put together the best applications possible for all 3 schools.

Thanks to Jenifer, I was admitted to HBS, GSB, and Wharton (with a scholarship!). I cannot recommend Jenifer highly enough to anyone who is looking to apply to an MBA program – she’s incredible!

Thank you Jenifer!

I worked with Jenifer on an hourly basis as I had already drafted my essays when I first started working with her.

I was deeply amazed by Jenifer's work ethics. She used the time very efficiently - she wouldn't need a lot of time for each draft essay review but she raised lots of good points for me to consider and improve on every time. She also turned around comments promptly. She challenged me to deep dive into the essay prompt and helped me brainstorm powerful personal stories that I could use.

I was very pleased with how much my essays improved after a few revisions. Working with Jenifer has been the best investment for my MBA application. Aside from essay reviews, I also got application and career advice from Jenifer. With her help, I got into LBS (one of my top 3 schools) in round 1.
