Melissa Joelson CHANGED my life beyond INSEAD

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

Just having read the previous reviews on Melissa's page has put - an embarrassing big self-conscious smile on my face. I couldn't echo their sentiments more. The memories I tried to shut out in the darkness, Melissa made them shine as powerful tools for my interview. You may say my title is exaggerated, but I feel it is an understatement and here is why.

I am the worst at interviewing. I believed I did not have the “right” background and did not have a clue where to start and how to best use my time, given I was in the middle of a relocation and assigned a new programme to lead.

I did many intense interview preparation sessions with Melissa. When we were in the flow, Melissa stayed on past her paid time to ensure we got to where we needed for that session. There was homework with the right focus, so I did not have to worry about anything else.

To be able to decipher someone, break down their beliefs and build them up again to be someone that can use their setbacks as strengths in an interview and beyond takes more than skill, experience and knowledge. It is all of that, with the complete devotion that Melissa had put into my success, that made this happen.

I put my faith in Melissa's guidance, and it paid off. I am now on the INSEAD Global Executive MBA (GEMBA) programme starting in October.

Thank you, Melissa Joelson. My family thanks you too and so do my friends. See you at my graduation!

Malvina's advice is a MUST!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

Malvina is simply the best coach you can have to advise you during your interview process. Long story short, I had practiced for my MBA interviews with other three coaches but I didn't feel comfortable working with them during the previous days before my interviews. I was nervous because I had only one week left before my interview and I didn't think I had enough time left to get ready. But luckily, I saw on P&A a post about Fortuna and Malvina, and in just a matter of hours they agreed to help me get ready in just a week for my interview. Despite the short time to prepare, Malvina walked me through the whole process with complete mock interviews and accurate feedback about my performance. Contrary to other mocks I had with other coaches, Malvina's interviews were more exhaustive and the questions were more challenging and tailored to my profile, which mimic the real MBA interview. Besides the excellent quality of Malvina's advice, I loved her positivism and friendly personality, she made me feel more calm and reduced the nervousness I had during the days before my interview. This was key to make me feel more confident and to reflect the best part of me during my interview. Needless to say, she also helped me giving excellent feedback on my post reflection essay with the university. In conclusion, Malvina is simply the best option to prepare during the interview process. I couldn't find anyone better and not only she will give you the best mock interview practice, but she will also help you build confidence during this challenging process, which is key to help you show the best version of you during the real interview. I am going to HBS in august and I couldn't be more grateful to Malvina🙂

Heidi really understands the how the Stanford GSB application process works and can offer exceptional insight into the interview and admissions process. She is approachable, candid and insightful. Had it not been for her help I would have never aced the Stanford GSB Interview. She needs to be your go to person to for the interview process. She is friendly, responsive and is highly personable. She is a pleasure to work with and has an incredibly kind way of providing feedback and insight to make you standout, calm nerves to the point of getting to fluency. I highly recommend Heidi and anyone will enjoy working with her.

HBS Interview Support

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

Malvina was a great resource in helping me navigate the HBS interview process, beginning with Pre-mock interview strategy sessions, to the actual mock and debrief, and then post-interview reflection support, etc. Long story short, Malvina was an instrumental part of helping me navigate this portion of the process, helping me refine my story, polish my responses, and then put my best foot forward for the last point of communication with the school before they made their decision. Personally, there was a lot of self doubt throughout this process, but Malvina helped me cut through a lot of that doubt by contextualizing my relative accomplishments, helping me build confidence throughout this process and feel confident going into the interview.
TL;DR: Highly recommend.

Emma Bond - Fantastic Coach for London Business School MBA Applications

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I was a R2 re-applicant to the London Business School and with Emma's guidance, I was able to receive an offer to the Full-Time MBA Class of 2023.

I approached Fortuna Admissions after having read such great reviews about Emma Bond. My first conversation was with Matt Symonds who was very patient in understanding my profile and requirement. He then connected me with Emma Bond, who is a very positive, sincere and kind coach. I feel lucky to have got the opportunity to get her guidance in my re-application.

She was very supportive and motivating throughout my application journey. Her extensive experience and insider knowledge about LBS proved to be of great value to me. Emma was always very responsive to any questions or queries and also willingly accommodated my last minute meeting schedule change requests.

I initially booked the hourly coaching service, in which Emma reviewed my previous application in depth and then came up with a strategy for my new application. She was also quick in reviewing essays.

After I got the interview invite, I then took the MBA Interview Package with Emma. She provided valuable insights on how to do well in the interview and even conducted mocks with me. She also provided tips on how to do a successful video interview - which is another component of the LBS MBA application.

I think Emma is truly a lovely coach and her guidance has been invaluable. I strongly recommend Emma Bond and Fortuna Admissions, specially to individuals interested in applying to the London Business School.

Incredible Interview Prep For Columbia Business School

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I worked with Michael to prep for my Columbia Business School admissions interview and my experience was amazing! He was incredibly well versed in all things CBS having spent 13 years working there. He gave me incredibly actionable advice to improve my presentation and strategy. By practicing with him I was able to tighten up my professional narrative and be more deferential to the interviewer’s line of questioning, instead of spending too much time on each question. I cannot imagine a better consultant to help students prep for admission to CBS. I'm thrilled to report that I will be a member of Columbia Business School's class of 2022 and I couldn't have done it without Michael's help.

The amazing Karen Hamou

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

My highest recommendation goes to Karen Hamou! To put it simply, her incomparable support and enormous help made it possible for me to gain admission to the most selective MBA program in the world!

As an international student, I was very stressed by the interview process, especially that English was not my native language. Though I have done many interviews in the past, I was not sure how to address the MBA interview and how to communicate effectively. Adding more stress to the matter, I had only three weeks to prepare, while I was working 16 hours a day, since the moment I was invited for the interview.

Luckily, I had my secret weapon - Karen. Karen did not waste any time, and Immediately we started working on my interview skills. We did some tough mock interviews. Karen did not go easy on me, not in the interview and nor in the feedback. She dug very deep and peeled almost every layer that I had. She explained carefully what was right, what was wrong, and how I can improve, always with a smile and a great attitude. She was so engaged in the process, that sometimes it felt that she wanted it more than I did.

Having those sessions with Karen made me very confident. There is no doubt that my work with her was critical for my success. I got accepted to all 3 schools that I applied to, and eventually, I choose to go with Stanford GSB.

Thank you so much, Karen!!!

I worked with Karen to help me prep for my Wharton and Columbia interviews.

Wharton - Karen put together a group of other applicants and me to run through a mock TBD. This was extremely helpful because it provided a dry run and helped ease a lot of my nerves I had. Karen also watched the mock session and during my debrief she gave me actionable feedback which I was able to employ during my actual interview. Beyond the TBD, Karen also worked with me on the Wharton 1x1 where I was able to work with her to refine my "Why Wharton" and "Why MBA" answer.

Columbia - I also worked with Karen on my Columbia interview. We talked quickly at the beginning of the interview structure and then she acted as the interviewer and we ran through a mock interview. This was also extremely helpful as after the mock was over Karen was able to give me really pointed and helpful feedback. Given that Karen is a Columbia Business School graduate, she was able to give me a lot of background on the school and the different initiatives at Columbia. She also was able to fact check me on my answers to make sure I wasn't saying anything incorrect about the school (This was super helpful because I had the name of a high level administrator wrong). Beyond the interview prep Karen also helped me while I was on the wait list, not hesitating to answer any questions I had.

Overall, I highly recommend working with Karen. She was attentive and very responsive. She was also very supportive throughout the whole process and gave me a lot of confidence when I approached my interviews!
