I have been struggling with my verbal, especially Reading Comp. I have looked all over GC for tips and strategies. But nothing seem to help. It was becoming really frustrating. So I decided to buy E-GMAT Verbal Online.
I would recommend this course for a non-native speaker. E-GMAT can be useful because after each lesson there are quizzes to complete. e-GMAT is an excellent source for Verbal. All the concepts tested on the GMAT exam are covered. The SC and CR are the best with explanations to simple as well as complex concept.
I have spent a good portion of today going through the Verbal e-gmat course. I have already seen an improvement in my understanding and practice questions both on e-gmat and in the OG
Before taking up the Verbal online prep - E-gmat course, I enrolled myself for the Kaplan Courses. Having nothing to compare with, I candidly followed the process they asked and materials they provided. I got a GMAT score of 640, although I was targeting above 700. Disheartened and upset, I tried to figure out why it happened, cause I had never put in that much of an effort anywhere else. This year, when I enrolled myself for the E-Gmat course, it was clear to me. There are so many things which non-native speakers arent aware of because it has never been pointed out. There is a structure and system to everything in Verbal. It is just like quants , logic, if it fits , there is a formula you have to apply. E-Gmat does this sincerely and most importantly gets to the root of your understanding. I wish I knew about the course earlier and didnt waste my time, energy and money on other courses. My fingers are crossed for my GMAT next month, and I definitely feel more improved and confident.
I have GMAT in August 2013, received a low score in verbal and planning it again in March 2013. with e-GMAT's verbal course, I already feel the difference in my prep levels.
the best part about the course is their process oriented approach to verbal questions. As you practice more, the approach is set in your brain and verbal questions become easy. All the questions in their Scholaranium are authentic and similar to Official Guide questions. You still have to remember a lot of grammar stuff though!! the Course is extensive with 24X7 online support. It has really helped me and I cant wait for my GMAT exam in March!
Being a non native English speaker, I took e-Gmat's verbal online course after I attended a free webinar from E-gmat and found it helpful. The content of the course is very good. The course helps to go into details without making it complicated. The SC section is exhaustive and explains in great detail. Their approach to sentence correction is probably the best among all the prep companies. The practice tests in each module helps in fine tuning my preparation. I strongly recommend candidates to take this course to succeed in gmat's verbal section. They also offer some free concepts on their website where you can see first hand the quality of their resources.
e-GMAT has provided the most logical explanation of Verbal Section of GMAT. I had gone through other coaching institutes and books such as Powerscore and Aristotle, but nothing could meet its explanation.
By using e-GMAT, I came to know that there is nothing more correct or more wrong in VA section. It will be either right or wrong in the given perspective of the question, be it SC , CR , or RC. Prior to e-GMAT this confusion lead to low accuracy.
So far the pre-thinking analysis of any question is best tool, which e-GMAT has provided, to crack a question.Even though the process seems to be be time taking in the beginning phase, but the scholaranium guided me step by step to improve time and helped me in increasing scores in mocks.
Earlier my score use to fluctuate between 21-30 in mock, but after going through the preparation with e-GMAT my score became consistent and started touching 40 in mocks, be it e-gmat mock or gmatprep.
Additionally, the support provided by the team for the queries are great. For some of the questions, after reading initial provide analysis, I felt that just to convince the students the explanation is given in a particular way, and I was adamant that my answer is correct. But upon raising this issue with the team, they helped me in analysing the logical methodology and reason for the given explanation.
Hopefully, I will be able to achieve my target score in my upcoming GMAT.
The e-GMAT Verbal Review is the best course for GMAT English Prep for non-native speakers.
Sentence Correction is dealt with effectively with enough examples and practice exercises. The explanations are concise and meaningful. The course material steadily builds up in difficulty.
Critical reasoning and Reading Comprehension are also dealt with nicely. Clear explanations are given and I noticed a marked improvement in my scores almost immediately.
The practice questions given are plenty and I believe that if one goes through all the practice questions it is sufficient practice to ace the GMAT
All in all, this product is definitely worth the price which was paid for it and I highly recommend it!
After struggling with Verbal for a prolonged period of time, I started extensive research online for a program that best fit my needs. I attended one of the free classes, and found e-GMAT as the right course for myself. I was good at SC but weak at RC and CR. Therefore, I went over the videos over and over again to solidify the concepts and strategies in my head. Once I started implementing the process, my score shot up. These strategies really work like a charm if you are disciplined enough to trust them, and follow them diligently. I would like to thank the e-GMAT team for the great work they have done to help students realize their potential.
When I started preparing for GMAT, I was low on confidence in verbal. I attended a free webinar from E-gmat and found it helpful. I subscribed to the verbal course and started with SC. The way rules were broken into different sections made it really simple and easy to learn. Video explanations for problem questions and quiz made me learn from my mistakes in a better way. The course helps to go into details without making it complicated. Another particular tool that helped me a lot was scholaranium. Using this tool I was always aware of where I stood, and where I needed to improve. Scholaranium was helpful in keeping a track of my progress and useful in identifying my weak areas. I would recommend this course to any one starting with low verbal score.
E-GMAT verbal online course is the best course available in market. Before enrolling for E-GMAT, I did my research on other courses such as GMAT Pill, etc but to me E-GMAT is the best verbal course available for non-natives. It helped me to clear my SC, CR and RC fundamentals. The step by step videos were very helpful. I have improved my accuracy and time. There are a lot of quality practice questions covering almost every type that you will find in the real test. I would recommend everyone who wants to excel in GMAT to try E-GMAT verbal course.
Being a non native English speaker, I took egmat's verbal online course to improve specifically on verbal section. The content of the course is very good. The SC section is exhaustive and explained in great detail. The practice tests in each module of SC,CR and RC fine tunes one's preparation. Though RC is my weakest area, the confidence that I got after going through the other sections of the course was tremendous. Supplement the course with additional practice sessions in Scholaranium and surely, one can aim for a high verbal score. Lastly, I want to emphasize that its a very good course for non natives and I strongly recommend candidates to take this course to succeed in gmat's verbal section.
