Hello folks,

Few months back I started to prepare for GMAT. In my first GMAT prep mock I scored Q49 V28. I realized I will require a little effort in quant and a lot of efforts in verbal to achieve a decent score.

I started solving OG without going through any initial verbal guides or taking a proper verbal course. This was a big mistake because now I was taking questions as and when they appeared to me and was learning only through the mistakes. The problem with such an approach is that you do not get a proper foundation in verbal. I finished OG completely and took another GMATprep mock, in which I scored V33. I then solved Official Verbal guides too but still could not improve my score any further.

Then a friend suggested me E-GMAT's verbal services. I contacted them and as per my time crunch they suggested me to avail there Scholaranium package.

Verbal Scholaranium is a great package for someone who wants to give finishing touch to his or her preparation. It is a great tool through which you can take 'Verbal Ability' tests to identify you weak areas and then selectively work on them using e-GMAT's 'custom quiz' option. Once you have mastered those areas you can again take an 'ability quiz' to gauge your progress. In total Scholaranium has a total of close to 750 questions from which you can take a.) 10 verbal ability tests, which are a mixture of SC, CR and RC or b.) take customized quizzes to target selective topics/weak-points or c.) take selective CR/RC/SC ability tests

In short I would advise you the following:
1. If you have got at least 2 months for focusing on GMAT's verbal part then I would strongly suggest you to go for e-GMAT's Verbal Live Prep or Verbal Online course. Both these courses will offer you Scholaranium as part of their total course. These courses are properly structured to teach you all the concepts that are required in your preparation. I would suggest you to take their free lessons and webinars before signing up.

2. If you have got less than month for the GMAT then I would suggest you to take up Verbal Scholaranium only.

One last thing whatever course you may or may not take please go through ALL the official questions before final GMAT. Don't hesitate to buy EP1, EP2 etc to help you in your preparation.

I used to suffer severely from SC phobia. However, i knew that an improvement on SC could make or break my verbal score. I just couldnt find any concise and precise material anywhere that were matching my requirements.
Finally, a friend suggested the e gmat verbal course. First i tried out the trial lessons which looked promising. I ended up purchasing the entire verbal online course since i wasn't fairing too well on RC and CR either. In retrospect, this was one of the best decisions i took for my gmat prep.
The SC course is well crafted, with logical explanations, plenty of examples to understand each topic thoroughly, and has a quiz at the end of each concept, that helps you assess your progress. Thanks to this course, my accuracy has gone from 40% to almost 100% in SC. This course is highly recommended for anyone struggling with gmat verbal in general!

I am still in the process of preparing for GMAT. I can say that eGMAT's Verbal course is definitely one of the best course especially if your verbal has conceptual gaps. All the required concepts are explained in a simple way.The SC videos gives you the best understanding with the 3 step process and detailed meaning analysis. My CR portion was already strong so i did not care much for it but i did the Scholaranium thoroughly. The RC videos were really helpful as well. e-GMAT provides you a number of key strategies that you must keep in mind while reading through RCs.
Thank you e-GMAT.
I will highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve Verbal performance.

Having attempted the GMAT twice, at a significant gap of 2 years, I was not too sure if I am willing to attempt it again. My first attempt dates back to June 2011 (Scored 660) and the second attempt to September 2013 (Scored 640), you would begin to think that I was writing the exam in utter disinterest and without any preparations. Now, let me not bring up the dead from the buried, instead highlight to you what really changed my mind and made me to work towards this goal again. The reasons of my utterly dismal performance so far will be highlighted steadily in the review below.

eGMAT, similar to a lot of you, was introduced to me by a friend. Not that I did not know about this course, I was just really reluctant to sign up. I was just not sure if it is just another course which I would be throwing my money at. This is because in my previous attempts I kept myself to Manhattan prep, Kaplan and the OG. While OG painted a different picture for me, the other two preparation materials were just categorically different. I was confused, till the last day of preparation about what to follow. And, went into the exam to come out slapped and beaten by the GMAT. This was the time when I understood the nature and importance of the official material of GMAT. eGMAT was truly the game changer that I was sincerely looking for. A go-to material, a one stop shop for all your requirements.

My 2 cents on the course - eGMAT is designed to extremely interactive. The Quant Online is not a course meant to be just get done with. It is designed in a way to make sure that you remember the concepts for times to come. I have been able to complete the course and during my practice sessions, keeping a score stable in the range of 49-51. It is absolutely essential to keep timing of your practice sessions as well, because on the D-Day, such will be the conditions.

Invest your time into building these concepts with reference to right kind of practice material from the OG and Quant Review (stick to the official material). For more challenging material you can always refer to the question banks at GMATClub. You can always reach out to me in case of any advise and clarifications. More than happy to help.

Wish you good luck for the journey.

Being an Indian GMAT aspirant , Verbal was my night mare. To overcome this problem I signed up for e-GMAT verbal online course and this helped me score 39 in verbal which I was very happy with. The SC section was particularly helpful as I need the most help in SC area. Th videos were really good in terms of covering the basics and the structured approach was helpful in developing a sense of understanding of the topics. I will definitely recommend this all the people who think they are week in Verbal, The CR section could have been better and I was able to find better resources elsewhere for CR. I would request the e-GMAT team to work on their CR content specially interms of the example problems they are using in their material.

E-GMAT Verbal Online - Highly recommend for non native speakers

Last year, I ended up with a disappointing score of 660 (V-32), much to my astonishment. Around mid of this year, I had planned to retake the exam and signed up with E-GMAT for their Verbal Online course, since I clearly needed some help with verbal and E-GMAT held a pretty good reputation, especially for their verbal course.

I am yet to retake my exam next month, but here are my thoughts on the experience I've had with the course so far
SC - Highly highly recommend, especially for the non native speakers. The course covers every possible concept tested in GMAT for SC. The main concepts of SC are broken down into easy understandable videos which comes with a pre and post assessment. These videos have extensively helped me gain command over SC questions, so much so, that my accuracy improved to a 90%

CR- My CR has been good to begin with. Again, well made videos and concepts are clearly laid out

RC and Master Comprehension- RC has been a blocker for me since the very beginning and their videos are clearly helping me out to gain more confidence over RC questions, with their strategies to approach different sorts of RC questions. Master comprehension is a nice and quick course that serves as a good pre-course before starting RC.

Overall, highly recommend for those looking to improve verbal scores. I have had help from several book and material courses before but nothing was nearly close to E-GMAT's course, because of the way how their course is designed, especially for their SC course.

eGMAT is a boon for test-takers

Before I attempted GMAT for the first time, a friend of mine suggested that I use the services of e-GMAT to aid me in my preparation. But I over-estimated my abilities and decided to prepare on my own. Needless to say, on exam day I did not leave with a smile on my face. Then after due diligence, I decided to heed my friend's advice.

After working with e-GMAT, the improvement in my abilities was palpable. The course topics are highly structured and the best part is that as soon as you are done with the concepts, you solve the OG questions which help massively with concept retention. The quality of the practice questions are a notch above what I had encountered during my first attempt. After going through the advanced concepts, I realized how much I had missed out on the first time around.

All this being said, the flagship feature of their course is undoubtedly the Scholaranium. Scholaranium will help you gauge precisely the areas of strengths and weaknesses and that too at a granular level. Because of this, you will know precisely where to focus your efforts on in the days leading up to the test.

e-GMAT is always trying to improve their content with concepts which can help students better prepare. Indeed, they released a whole host of new features just as I was completing my preparation. If I would have had access to these features before, I would have been able to prepare even better. I think that has to be my only grouse with e-GMAT.

All in all, I would definitely recommend e-GMAT to any potential test-taker.

I wrote GMAT last year and scored dismal 32 In verbal.I ordered scored from GMAC and upon detailed analysis I realized that Sentence Correction is my Achilles heel.I went through various offline and online courses and even completed entire Manhattan SC guide but my SC skills didn't improve.Upon introspection I realized that I need a guide and a mentor to help me hone my grammar skills.I went through various non-native GMAT aspirants' reviews and finally zeroed on e-Gmat verbal online course .And Boy! that was the best decision I made so far for for my GMAT preparation.e-Gmat's interactive videos made learning a fun exercise . My learning curve has never been so steep.
Thanks to e-GMAT

Best verbal preparation aid for GMAT

Like every non native English aspirant , the most dreaded part of the GMAT preparation for me was Verbal Section. The Actual problem that i was facing was despite of all the hardwork , i was always committing mistakes and this was impacting my confidence. Small and silly mistakes in terms of choices were very confusing and always acted as a hindrance for me to get a decent standing in Verbal section.
After reviewing and going through some of the online session and articles of E-gmat, i enrolled for the course and after going through the sections and practices , feel had i taken the course earlier, i would have saved lot of time. The best part of the Course is SC and it is hands down best resource than one can find for Verbal Preparation. The detailed analysis of every element of sentence and probable GMAT question has been thoroughly discussed and by going through several practice tests , it becomes second nature. There is no scope for guess or non conformity . For example, the impact of modifiers on different elements of the sentences and how placement of modifiers changes complete meaning . these small nitty gritty are the real essence of the course and help you to understand the things in the better way. Similarly in RC and CR , prethinking saves you from a lot of the problems and guess works. With every concept and practice session , you will feel the confidence and accuracy going up wards only. After that you have Scholaranium that helps you with regular practice and its questions are very much in line with the real problems. Quizzes and question pools are awesome and great help. Overall it is one of the best thing that one can have , for verbal preparation. Most important is the way the whole thing has been designed , it is too simple yet so effective. Also, the e-gmat team is always there for your help and support and it just shows they care for you and your preparation. And it really a great thing . Thank you E-gmat for everything.

I used E-gmat Verbal online for 6 months. The course is an excellent tool for verbal. The audio and videos are HD quality which gives a live experience to learn. Additionally, the layout of the slides is well organized and facilitate learning effectively. The course covered extensively every aspect of GMAT Verbal. The contents are rich enough to simulate real GMAT questions. Moreover, the explanations provided facilitates learning extensively. Although it is hard to say which module in the E-gmat is the best because every module is equally rich, I liked the sentence correction module the most. This module gives the complete understanding of the topics tested on GMAT, considering the most difficult questions.
