I started my preparation back in October 2015 with dream to join EMBA colleges. I started preparation based on OG Guide and then I end up with online course of Top One Percent purchased. Though the videos were good and I prepared with this course, it has not helped me to clear my GMAT. After analysis I found that I am lacking with lot of concepts and I started to hunt for better preparation course. I did quite search online on Beat the GMAT and GMAT club and I found EGMAT course. I took the decision to purchase it but I started preparation late little.
EGMAT has helped me to extend the course online even after expiry of the course validity. Though I am strong in Quant, I picked the first preparation section as Quant. The course is designed in well manner to acclimatize with it and explains the concepts beautifully.
The Coordinate Geometry, Number properties, Algebra, and Word Problems section are explained quite well and I really liked the approach while solving the problems. Initially I was worried about timing but as I progressed with this course, I was not really worried about timing and it automatically accommodated within time frame. What really helped me was following the strategy provided by EGMAT. No matter how question was designed, I have followed the Steps that EGMAT has reiterated in every practice video. There is helpful explanation available when I wasn’t having any clue. This course clarifies minute details in neatly manner and hence I am pressing myself to finish Verbal section in coming time.
In upcoming time I will be preparing for Verbal section and then will go for my exam scheduled date. Now I am really more confident with Quant and can concentrate more on verbal section too.
Through the Egmat's structured startegies and approaches, I scored Q51 twice consecutively on my official GMAT attempts. It's difficult to score Q50 on quant but it's much more difficult to score Q51. I knkew knew all the concepts even in my first attempt but in my second attempt, I knew the exact strategies needed for seemingly difficult questions. Quant Scholaranium played a huge role in improving my ability in quant. I always enjoyed solving the customised tests on Quant Scholaranium. One important thing to keep in mind while solving quant scholaranium questions is that choose all Easy, Medium, Hard and Very Hard questions in each of your practise tests once you are confident about the concepts and applications. Otherwise it will be very difficult and frustrating for someone solving all the Hard and Very Hard questions in the end. It's a good strategy to spread evenly all types of difficulties. For sure, very hard questions take more than average time ( 2 minutes ) to solve but attempt them and try your very best to get the answer even if it takes more time than usual. These questions actually provide resistance training for your brain. Its It is like if you can lift 100 pounds during your practice then you can definitely lift 80 pounds on your show day. In that sense “very hard questions” push your brain to think beyond your traditional limits which in turn makes you more efficient especially in data sufficiency questions. If you have practiced and understood all the 1000+ questions on Quant Scholaranium, then you have got everything you need to score Q51 on the official GMAT exam.
I started preparing for GMAT about 50 days before the test and after wandering all over the place for a decent verbal strategy I finally got the e-gmat verbal online course and boy it was awesome.
From day 1 I could see my verbal score and comprehension improving. Since there was not much time I couldn’t complete the scholaranium which turned out to be a pretty awesome tool for practising new and GMAT like questions.
Going from a verbal score of 24 on my first GMAT official mock to an actual score of 35 on the GMAT was really made easy by the way e-gmat course was structured.
I would suggest the verbal course to each and every serious aspirant of the GMAT specially to non natives or to those who find comprehending SCs and CRs difficult because there is a lot to learn from it.
Happy preparing and thank you e-gmat.
I purchased E-gmat course around 4 months back. Being an Indian I'm good with qaunt. My verbal score in my mock test was pretty low. I was devastated by looking at my verbal score in my mock tests (V25 or something I don't remember actually). One of my senior suggested me to take E-gmat verbal course. I took verbal online course and started practicing all the modules in the course. The best thing about e-gmat is that it has the best user interface. In particular CR course is the easiest and interactive course. Their way of teaching the concepts using examples and then the practice files is well organized. There are around 1000 practice questions in the scholaranium which are similar to the actual GMAT questions. My competency has been increasing and I'm now confident with my verbal. Thanks to E-gmat and their support team. If anyone is not comfortable with verbal and don't know where to start with then I would suggest that E-gmat is the best place.
e-GMAT Quant scholaranium is definitely a powerful and helpful tool which is a must have for someone who wants to score a brilliant 700+. The concepts are explained in a clear and concise manner and practicing in the scholaranium would easily help someone who is at a below Q35 and to someone who is aiming for Q50+. What I really liked about the course is the "create custom quiz" option which as clear as it sounds helped me to choose the number of question along with the difficulty level and the duration of the test , this helped me get my timing in place and I could accurately see which were my major weak areas. The queries that are asked in the forum are cleared within a day and that helps to get your doubts cleared almost immediately.
The brilliant analytics along with questions ranging from Sub 600 level to a 700+ level makes Egmat Quant scholaranuium a must have. I recommend this course to all who feel their basics are a little messed up as I myself have moved from a Q37 to a Q48-49 level.
Thanks
Thorough and lively course designed for non-native English speakers. This course will guide you through your weaknesses and provided you with feed back at each step of learning.
These feedback help you focus on your strengths and weaknesses. The presentation videos are detailed and easy to understand. Make sure not to move ahead in hurry with a aim to finish the course in minimum time, rather ensure detailed analysis and move when you feel comfortable with the topic discussed. Keep reviewing your progress through Scholaranium software, which provides you with GMAT like questions with in-depth explanations. Overall, a good place to invest for improvement in GMAT SC.

After a totally disappointing result in my first GMAT (470 with 17V and 39Q) I decided to get an online course which gives me a good overview of the verbal section in the GMAT. The e-GMAT Verbal Online course was a great helop to do so. My improvement was not that much, but thats because I wasn't able to finish the complete course due to personal issues.
At the beginning the indian accent was not easy to understand but after the first videos this was no problem anymore.
If you want to ace the verbal section and get good summaries I totally recommend the e-GMAT Verbal online course!
I have been utilising the eGMAT for my preparation and have found a significant improvement as it is great tool to identify ones weakness and then provides the right kind of tools to work on and improve upon the same. The e gmat module is a very well organised with respect to the study material with the right kind of test preparation tools and the practice sessions. Their concept files are aptly covering the required concepts and the schloaranium module effectively covers the skills such as timing with enough range of questions. The Verbal module is boon to all non natives to understand the process logically and attempt to improve the skill and process.Similarly the quant online module is sleek in terms of the right amount of knowledge imparted and skills trained to hit the desired score.
I gave a GMAT attempt on 12 Jan 2018 and scored a low 600. Being an Indian my quant score was up to the mark, but where I tanked was the verbal section. The low score sent me into self-analysis mode and after going through multiple test preparation portals (primarily GMATClub), I came across E-gmat.
I read multiple reviews of their how awesomely paced their Verbal online learning section and decided to give it a try.
After going through the complete video modules, especially sentence correction and reading comprehension, I could see, to my utter shock, what I was lacking before. The step by step explanation of concepts really made me improve my basics thereby improving my score. Furthermore, special mention and praises for their Scholaranium, which is by far the best questions module I have encountered for Verbal. The kind of questions present in the Scholaranium are totally in line, if not better than the official GMAT exam.
Any aspiring candidate willing to really score well in GMAT, especially the verbal section should definitely enrol in the E-gmat course.
All the best you tou all!
Verbal for Gmat is very different from the verbal on other exams such as GRE, CAT(Indian B-schools). Within the few months, I exhausted all the resources including Manhattan books, Official Guide. However, I was not able to reach a verbal score of even 30.
I had read reviews on the Gmat-club about E-Gmat verbal course, especially for non-native speakers. So for the final push in my verbal preparation I decided to purchase the verbal online course of E-Gmat.
Review of the Verbal Course->
Master comprehension-: 5/5
Sentence Correction:5/5
Reading comprehension:3/5
Critical Reasoning: Did not use.
The master comprehension section & Sentence Correction are stand-out among them as they focus on the very basics which are needed for cracking the Gmat.
I did not find RC material to be much helpful and did not have time for the CR material but have heard that it's also very Good.
