It focuses primarily on the concepts and has enough practice questions to make the concepts stronger. I'd recommend this for anyone who is starting with the GMAT prep. People at advance stages of prep can also use this to review and revise their concepts
This course helped me the achieve a verbal score of 38 on my first attempt at the exam..
I'd even recommend to view all the lessons at least twice in order to brush up the concepts. The practice questions are also very good and unlike any other prep program. The explanations that are provided are very detailed and easy to understand.
To put it in a nutshell, this is an excellent course for any GMAT aspirant
Dear friends, let me give you some background of myself and my preparation.
I’m a non-native guy from a middle-east country. My first attempt of GMAT was nothing more than a disaster. I took GMAT in December 2014 and scored 560 (Q44 & V24). If I tell you about my preparation, you will see why I ended up in this score. I had about four months to get both TOEFL and GMAT. My GMAT preparation consisted of studying MGMAT books both in verbal&quant section. As I was particularly weak in Verbal, I started with MGMAT foundation of verbal. Till this point, you see nothing wrong with these; the problem arose when I started to solve some questions. I realized that as much as I review SC book, I was not able to master the concepts. I think that I read both SC section of MGMAT foundation of verbal and MGMAT SC book for over ten times. This situation was very weird for me as someone who had been able to master different books in his life by just only one or two reads. I’m not telling that MGMAT books are not written well, my point is that for a non-native guy, it seemed impossible for me to implement the concepts. In those days, as SC took a lot of time, I wasn’t able to spend a good chunk of time on CR, RC, or quant. Without literally practicing any OG quant,cr, rc, sc question, I went to the exam and ended up at getting 560.
In 2014, I already knew E-GMAT, and I knew they are great at what they are doing, but in those days, I assumed that I could master GMAT on my own the same way that I had mastered different exams in my life. But believe me that GMAT is a whole different beast, especially if you are lacking in general knowledge of English. I was able to master TOEFL from nothing to a score of 102 in less than three months. But GMAT is an entirely different story. After four years, when I wanted to retake GMAT, I knew that I must change my preparation dramatically. So, I enrolled in two of the free webinar of e-gmat, and I saw, what I was missing in my first preparation. So, I immediately enrolled in verbal online course.
The great thing about e-gmat course is that it addresses both learning and application of concepts along each other. So, as you learn new things, you learn how to implement them. The great thing is that after learning a concept on e-gmat, I was then able to understand what MGMAT SC book tried to teach. So for me, e-gmat was way more understandable and applicable than MGMAT SC book.
I found another benefit from e-gmat course which surprised me. In the e-gmat internal forum, students not only can get a response from experts but also have access to previous queries and expert answers. I spend a lot of time on reading those queries, and in many times I learned a lot of things from them. In many cases, those inquiries shed light on different aspects of OG questions that I missed through my read. I can not accentuate more that how e-gmat internal forum helped to cement my understanding.
After completing SC course on e-gmat module, I took three gmatprep and scored 35 on verbal in two of them. In e-gmat course The only thing that I wish it were different, is that e-gmat offer more study options. As a non-native person from a country with low GDP, who was very weak in SC, I wish that I were able to purchase just SC course and spend around 4-6 months on that.
I’ve scheduled my exam on November 15, and I will update you with my real GMAT exam experience and score.
Thanks to Gmat Club, where I found about this amazing online course -- E-gmat. Although coming from an Engineering background, owing to last couple of years working in management field, I wasn't great in Quant like many others. The E-gmat's quant course is to the point, nothing more than what is required to ace in GMAT. Number Properties was one of my biggest weakness in quant, but after going through the lessons, I gradually increased my accuracy from mere 30% to 80%. The practise exercises and the explanations for every question are so amazing. It really helped me built up on my concepts. The other thing that I absolutely love is the scholaranium. Giving ability tests of each topics make you realise where you are lagging behind. My GMAT exam is in a week now, will update you all with my final scores and how much I improved at last from this course.
All the best to you all.
I did enjoy all the time I spent on this course. It provided the confidence to ace the GMAT exam. As a non-native speaker, I struggled a lot with the verbal section. I tried other expensive courses such as the Economist, but I did not have the results I got with e-GMAT. I would highly recommend this course to dedicated people who want to strive on this journey. It is easy to follow, and you can have discounted prices if you need an extension of the course. It is the most cost-effective course is available on the market right now.

Hi,
I began my preparation for GMAT in October 2017 based on very limited research about the various resources available online. I bought only the Manhattan book series and OG-2017. To begin with, Quant was never an issue. In the initial mock tests, I was reaching 48-49 (without any preparation). However, Verbal was an issue and I scored only a 32 (without any prep). I realised my focus should be more on the Verbal section where I could increase my overall test score in a greater proportion than Quant. My target was at least Q50/V43 (around 760).
After spending 2 months with the Manhattan series and solving all OG questions, I could see only a slight improvement in my results. I wasn't very happy with my scores (700 Q49 V35). Due to hectic work schedules, I could not concentrate on my preparation. I needed help in Verbal as I was not able to breach the score V35. Quant was okay as I was regularly able to touch Q50.
After attending a couple of free webinars conducted by Rajat Sadana and Payal Tandon, I decided to opt for a trail version of e-GMAT course. My first impression navigating the course screens was - extremely user friendly clearly demonstrating a keen investment in technology and graphics. I decided to give e-GMAT a shot (GMAT online course - Verbal + Quant).
And, the course was above my expectations.
The things that I liked the most:
1. One of the most user-friendly interface. After working for 10 hours in a day, the last thing that I expect to see in a course is the difficult to navigate screens and boring graphics. e-GMAT did a great job to make the course interesting. In fact I used to look forward to spend 2 hours
2. Concept clarity: e-GMAT have clearly invested a significant amount of time in preparation of their course materials. Each topic covered has been explained in great detail and in a systematic way with a lot of easy-to-understand examples.
3. Question bank: e-GMAT have also developed a large question bank called Scholaranium which thoroughly prepares a candidate for questions of all levels.
4. Responses to queries: I was impressed by the by the team have answered to not only my queries but also the queries of other students. These responses have been posted in a systematic manner, helping other students to prepare through the questions of some one else.
I think the course could improve on:
The difficulty levels of Scholaranium should be more in line with the actual exam. I feel that there are significantly difficult questions tested in Scholaranium in comparison to the questions asked in actual GMAT exam. The higher difficultly levels mis-guides the candidates in wrongly assessing their weak/strong areas. I believe if the questions are tagged as 750+, 700+, 650+, 600+ questions, it would prepare the students even better.
I thought I was good in both Verbal and Quant but GMAT proved me wrong. Was thinking about taking the GMAT since August September and bought official guides and the complete GMAT strategy guide of Manhhatan. Studied for two months on and off and my score hovered around 650. Went through a lot of material but could not improve. After reading reviews, decided to give EGMAT a try. It was worth it! Both the quant and verbal sections are beautifully laid out and builds on a strong foundation. I really liked the verbal section as it taught me an approach for tackling SC which was my weakest link. The quant section strengthened the foundation which is essential. After three months of studying, did a official test and my score was 700. But some personal things came up and could not study for two weeks and gave my GMAT after completing a 6 day official trip and totally bunked the exam. My score was 590 and it taught me that constant practice is key and having a calm mind is essential. My next GMAT date is on the 25th and will review in detail about the study plan etc if I get a good score.
So , I took this course somewhere in January 2018 after getting strong recommendation from fellow gmat club members and enrolled GMAT students.
For indian students, Definitely egmat course is bit easy to understand and comprehend as compared to other courses. The material is well devised along with improved UI for scholnarium and blitzkreig. Over the time they evolved well with improved support from their team on query resolution. Stats are good and question bank is of good quality
Now downside to this is that compared to others , egmat is a bit overpriced ,considering that it is valid for a period of only 6 months. So only and only if you have taken ur gmat date in advance, it makes sense to enroll here . However they do extend for a month for no charge at all if you have official mail of your gmat scheduled date.
It is a good course but again ,enroll if 6 months mean that you will be completing investing in this as every month counts.
I was looking out for help for Gmat verbal just a month before the Gmat exam as after giving some mock tests I got to know that I am not scoring good in Gmat mock tests because of low verbal score. I attended 1 seminar of e-gmat for verbal and thereafter subscribed for verbal online course. I completed the course in 3 weeks and scored a 80% in verbal in my final Gmat exam. Earlier my verbal score was around V25 and it jumped to V36 in just a month's time. I would like to thank e-gmat for the much needed last moment help. The Verbal Online course is structured beautifully and caters exactly to what is asked in Gmat exam. I didn't get much time for revision or completing verbal scholaranium but I am happy that I made the most of it in the given short span of 1 month. Thanks a ton e-gmat!!
I was skeptical about Egmat initially Being a non native verbal had been my biggest issue since the day I started preparing for the GMAT. I started my prep for GMAT in 2015 and since then have given the twice and scored 520 and 500 respectively. After the last exam I was exhausted and frustrated wondering what should I do now when all the material OG2017,Aristotle and Manhattan guides have not been enough.
I came across the Egmat reviews and took a final chance investing time and money to buy the Egmat Verbal online course. It was the best decision I took.
My concepts are much more clear and my scores have improved drastically. My entire approach for a SC or RC or CR question has changed phenomenally.
I would recommend this course to all students who are currently struggling with the Verbal Section in the GMAT.
Trust me the Egmat course works wonders with your Verbal Score.

I started my GMAT preparation in late November 2017. I started with official Guides. While solving the OGs I understood that I was terrible in SC and CR. So, I purchased Manhattan SC, CR, RC and IR books (2 Hard copy and 2 Kindle edition). I went through the Manhattan SC and CR books thoroughly and even made notes. I had a fair idea of the rules, but was faltering in applying them.
By June, ISB and IIMs had informed their application deadlines. So, I picked up the pace of preparation. By this time I was actively interacting in GMATClub forum and came to know about e-GMAT. I made a free account and attended almost all webinars. On my request they even provided me with the previous webinar recordings.
My first attempt in GMAT was in July end and did terribly bad. I only got 640 (Q47, V32). I took quant first and mismanaged time, so much that I had to select random answers for the last 5 questions just to complete the test. I was quite disheartened and that affected the verbal part too. I needed to improve my GMAT score to even have any chance of interview call from the B Schools.
I understood that as I scored Q47 with 5 guessed answer, I could have done much better there had I not mismanaged time. But there was no justification for scoring V32. That clearly indicated conceptual gaps. I was already familiar with the learning methods of e-GMAT so I subscribed to their verbal online course. The best part that came with the subscription was access to 25 Quant and 9 Verbal CATs of GMATClub.
I had only 5 weeks in my hand for the next GMAT test. I am an avid reader and my retention is reasonable. So, I emphasised on SC and CR part more than the RC section of e-GMAT Verbal online. I completed the video lessons and quizzes of SC and CR section. I could not complete the RC part totally. But I attempted all the CATs of GMATClub.
I also read all the articles on quant which were published by e-GMAT in GMATClub. I attempted most of the questions. I went through the details of the solutions of the questions I attempted, irrespective of whether I answered them right or wrong. After certain time, I found that my quant score was coming consistently in the range of 49-50 and my verbal score also improved.
While going through the verbal online course, initially I solved questions step by step as directed in the video lessons. But gradually, I had built some kind of intuition. I could check 2-3 aspects at once and it increased my speed in SC. The pre-thinking approach to CR also helped me a lot. Previously I was checking the answer choices again and again and still fumbling, but with pre-thinking, I could narrow down the choices and hence save on time considerably.
In the second attempt when the exam finished the score of Q49, V38 flashed in my screen. I was happy to score 710 from 640 in 5 weeks. I think had I subscribed to e-GMAT verbal online few more weeks back, I might have scored above V40.
I would highly praise e-GMAT team for the care, the step by step guidance and the follow up about their student’s progress. Even though I am done with GMAT test for the time being, I would finish the full course once I am free of the application processes. It is going to be very beneficial for future.
