As the word-on-street is, Manhattan CATs indeed have tough Quants but fair verbal sections.

I have consistently score Q45-47 in Manhattan vs Q49-51 in GMAT club tests and Q49 in GMAT Online test as well. Specially the DS section is brutal in Manhattam. But dont think that more the difficulty the better you are prepared - even after taking 6 Manhattan CATs, my Quant score did not really improve, whereas my Verbal score did improve from 30s to 35s. Manhattan Verbal is a fair game and lands in same range/ difficulty for GMAT/ Kaplan/ GMAT club.

Still I would suggest Manhattam CATs because (1) they are cheap (2) prepares you for tough Quant and time management

Manhattan has 6 CATs, which you can reset multiple times. I personally have reset it twice, maybe even more are possible

I scored a V32 on the actual GMAT.
Manhattan Mock Tests are a fair indicator of your verbal scores.
In my opinion, all of the tests give pretty much close to my actual verbal score except for the 1st mock, which gave me an inflated score i.e. V41.

The quants section is a bit tougher than the actual thing. I would suggest to the take the quant section untimed if you face major challenges.

From my experience, I can say that it is imperative to work on stamina. In the actual exam, people often get tired up, making mistakes on the question they can otherwise solve.

Manhattan Mocks is a decent product to build your stamina and get an assessment of your verbal scores.

Questions seem to be taken from past year OGs and hence not an accurate estimate of the test taker's level. Mock interfaces are not mimicking GMAC tests . Its my personal view

Could be improved: Reducing the unecessary tough level of quant and not copying OG questions in their mocks might help.

Rest MGMAT's own questions are of very good quality and picks your brain just like official questions would. So kudos on that front.

The official GMAT Prep CATs provide test-takers with the best score prediction. Even though they have tweaked the scoring algorithm, Manhattan GMAT and other test-preps historically provide test-takers with lower scores than does the actual GMAT or GMAT Prep practice tests. Still having said it you can try for MGMAT tests but dont take the quant score too seriously

I got MGMAT CAT's and tried full length tests there. Honestly, Quant was brutal. One eye off and they start giving you PS, indicating, you did previous question wrong. There is definitely a lot of difference when we compare it with GmatPrep official question bank but if you are just casually doing them, they do give a run for your life .
For verbal, i find their RC's good enough. SC is on same level like GMATClub Tests but CR was a bit cranky there. Sometimes, i felt like the arguments were not as strong as they are in official Gmat guides.
IR was fun though. They are identical to official guides and i find them pretty much fun to solve.

So, I've been using Manhattan for quite a while along with other gmat prep tests, such as Veritas, Gmatclub, gmatprep, kaplan, but I found Manhattan test to be more closer to actual gmat test.
Their algorithm is quite unique, i really doubt if actual gmat uses same algorithm but for sure the test of test matches with actual gmat test (I am a retaker), when it comes to verbal.
While for quant, there's a different story. Out of all the tests I've tried, I found manhattan quants level on slightly higher side. so someone scoring a 46-47 in manhattan can easily score 49-50 in actual test. That's what i liked about these test that they prepare you for the worst.
Try solving all 6 tests and use their analysis tool to analyse your weak areas. It's really helpful.

Manhattan CATs bundles comes with 6 cats.
Questions arent repeated unless you reset the tests. The reset can only be done upon completion of all the 6 tests.
TBH these tests give an accurate indication of the weaker areas and also to learn new concepts which may or may not have been touched upon during the prep phase.

Quants is way above the real thing and a q44 in mgmat can translate to a q48 or q49.

verbal is the same level as the real thing. Sometimes the language can get convoluted , but the quality of questions is excellent. a V35 and above can translate to v37 to v40 in the actual thing.

These tests should be used as indicators to measure timing and weak areas and are not to be used to predict the scores , doing well on these tests will definitely mean that you'll do well on the actual gmat but again depends on the test day and the test conditions.

Mgmat CATs are a great resource to practice and learn .

As I am continuing to attempt GMAT Club tests, I also wanted to try out other tests to get a view of where I actually stand. After reading a lot of reviews online, I decided to try Manhattan Prep tests. I was mainly looking for verbal since quant is quite well covered in GMAT Club tests. And I did get what I was looking for.

Manhattan Prep has a good mix of different level of questions. I especially liked their verbal - some really good questions in CR, which happens to by my weak area. I got a good insight into where I was going wrong with CR and I hope to improve my mock CAT scores in the near future.

Quant questions were good, but when I compare them to GMAT Club tests, I prefer the latter since they are harder and helps prepare better.

I took free mocks from Veritas and Manhattan prep CATs. I am the guy who suffers from tremendous test anxiety so in my course of preparation to mitigate the effect of anxiety on my test score I decided to take as many mocks as I can. Specifically a tough ones, so I can build a confidence and can take real test confidently. I have decided to buy Manhattan Prep mocks because of 2 reasons.
1) Their questions are closer to actual GMAC question than those are from other prep companies.
2) Their mocks are really tough, because If you get first 3-4 questions consistently right then there are high changes that you will get rest of the questions of 700-800.

To finish the test with majority of hard questions with in time is a challenge. I have completed 5 mocks, and so I am writing this review to recommend the CATs, because they have proved to be useful to me.

Benefits I got:
My time management got improved.
Analysis they provide is also decent. It helped me to analyze my weaknesse.

Only one drawback.
After you will finish 4 mocks, from 5th mock you will get mixed questions. I mean question bank is not big enough that can feed you consistently hard questions, however, the benefit of this is that you can consider mock 5 & 6 of Manhattan GMAT more closer to actual GMAT than Mocks 1 to 4.

If you are person who want to give many mocks then you should definitely go for it.

Really helped me to get a sense of the GMAT exam and test functionality. Really thorough analysis of the test, Post test analysis is great and you get to know your weak areas with indetail information. Have only taken GMAC and Manhattan prep Test, so really cannot compare with other test prep makers. But from my personal experience I would suggest Manhattan Prep CATs to really analyze your areas of improvement and your overall test perfomance. I have also heard they are the closest to what actual GMAC Prep tests are and they are a good indicator of your performance on Real Gmat test.
