I have used gmatclub forum and discussions for quite some time now, although i never registered(call it my laziness). And i must say that they are pretty good. People like Sajjad and Bunuel have extensive knowledge of all the topics and the explanations are impeccable on quant. Although the verbal forum needs some improvement here and there. But i am sure with time and awesome community things will go in a right direction

Then a friend of mine told me to use the gmatclub test a try, which i did from his id(i know this is bad, but i am happy i did it.). I must say the level of questions, the detailed analysis were simply awesome.

I have taken some gmat club tests and honestly i do not think there is any other resource that can help you identify your weak areas better than these tests. These tests provide you a thorough analysis of your performance The quality of questions are second to none and help you enhance your conceptual understanding. Although they seem to be a bit high on the difficulty side but this is what will actually prepare one to handle any sort of question on the actual test. I have come across questions testing multiple concepts and was amazed to view the approach to solve these questions. I would highly recommend the gmat club tests to all those who are struggling to get their scores up in quant as these are probably the best resource that you could lay your hands on.

The GMAT Club tests are a must if you are aiming for a 700+ score. I took the CAT's few days ago and found them very useful. Explanations are precise and guided me in my thought process.

The QUANT part of the CAT have the best questions. I took the GMAT PREP exam(the 2 free tests) and scored 49 on one exam and a 50 on other. But GMAT CLUB Math problems are a bit tougher and it's not just the questions themselves, the explanations provided also help you uncover many shortcuts and help strengthen your core concepts. I found the CLUB questions a bit harder, but that should help you be better prepared for the final test.

Coming to the verbal part, the questions are well framed and are of good standard resembling the actual EXAM. My scores on the PREP EXAM was higher than the CLUB test. But this would help me learn better ways and manage time for a 700+ result

Seems a bit harder than OG as my verbal score was 10+ points lower than what I normally got. I do like how it breaks down the timing for each type of question - the analysis and organized structure really helps. I also like that the answers to tests are directly llinked to forums, though I think one helpful thing would be to just pin the most correct comment/explanation and hide everything else or it's a lot of noise/text to comb through. I think I also found a couple questions that had the incorrect forum discussion linked to the answer explanation. I also wish there were some AWA or integrated reasoning questions so I could simulate real test conditions.

There are plenty of questions to go through and seems like its almost all from OG practice questions (or at least I hope) with better analysis than what you get from the gmatprep software.

Even though my verbal score was disappointingly low here, it helped boost my verbal on the OG practice test by 70 points by a week so I'm pretty happy, though there is plenty more to do.

Pros:-
1. Best in class questions, covering nearly all the topics
2. Amazing UI of the test. Very near to the actual GMAT test
3. Awesome explanations from Bunuel. and the following discussions help you to find the shortest and fastest method to approach the question.
4. Analytics after the test is one of its kind. I have not seen anything better than the GMATCLUB analytics. It drills down to topic specific question and help you find out the weak spots.

Cons:- Only one i would say
These tests are not made for people are scoring around 40 in quant. It is for people who are scoring 45+ and are looking to get 50-51 in quant.

So choose wisely.

I've taken about 3 tests and I think they're of very good quality. I've been taking Manhattan tests as well, but I think they are a bit tougher than the real question we get during GMAT. I am yet to compare it with GMAT Prep.

Apart from the question quality, they also provide a great performance analysis and links to forum discussions for each question. It becomes very handy to bookmark a question to revise it later and keep a error log here itself. They also allow me to analyze my performance of guessing an answer which I is great.

However, I think they can improve on explanations. For certain questions, most of which are in verbal, they've repeated the question itself. Although the 'link to forum' happens to provide the correct explanation most of the times, it is definitely an area of improvement!

The collection of question is just like GMAT prep with a good mix of difficulty levels.
Practice mode and Exam mode are there with a detailed overview of your performance, level of difficulty, topic and time taken for each question.
I particularly like the explanations and the discussions there itself under the questions, I strongly recommend these tests to everyone to get a realistic idea about prep level.
Quant is particularly an impressive mix , I regret not going through these before my first attempt. This time I aim to attempt the entire question set - as much possible.

The experience was smooth and the quality of questions was also similar to the level of original GMAT. I would recommend increasing the pool of questions so that there could be more Verbal sections tests, that there is a minimal repetition of questions. The quality of the questions in mathematics is spectacular and was helpful in bringing about the requisite improvement in me. If possible, try bringing in some full length mocks as well, along with section test. The full length mocks could be a combination of Section Tests as well. The overall experience of GMAT club tests has been spectacular, and I will not hesitate to recommend it to anyone as the first choice.

Though I have neither taken all the tests, attempted only 1 thus far, nor attempted GMAT after the test, I can say 1 thing for sure. Veritas' algorithm is closer to GMAT than gmatclub's. However, it does not mean that Veritas is better at predicting the actual score. 1 problem with Veritas, and Manhattan prep, is that it is very hard to score 700 in their tests, an issue I believe is not present in gmatclub's tests.

Quant: Quant section is tougher than GMAT's but easier than Manhattan Prep's; nevertheless, the score prediction by gmatclub may be correct. Best part with this section, as it is with the forum on the whole, is that you can find a few different solutions for the same problem.

Verbal: There are some questions in which OA and OE are not too convincing, something that is never the case with GMAT. Despite this, their questions were easier than Veritas' and tougher than GMAT's, Veritas rates difficult questions easier; thereby, contributing to the issue.

Summary: These tests can be considered if you do not intend to buy either Manhattan Prep's or Veritas' as they provide the best parts of both of them.

ISSUE (and I hope it gets fixed at the Earliest): While reviewing the test, we cannot see the answer we picked for an incorrect attempt. Again, Please fix this As Soon As Possible.

Gmatclub's quant tests are brutal. They are a must have if you want to achieve quant 49 and above in the acutal Gmat tests. Gmat club's quant test will train all your mental muscles to make you adept at dealing with every level of GMAT quant questions. Since, the offical guides have a handful of quant questions of 600 to 700 category, Gmatclub's tests came to the rescue for those looking for higher quality quant questions.

While the quant tests are worth every penny, verbal test was not up to the standard of GMAT. Quite a few of the answers seemed debatable and few questions were not very GMAT like.

A point of advice, quant tests of gmatclub is a must have.
