GMAT club tests help me work on my time management. There are only 6 official mocks so I didn't want to exhaust those mocks while experimenting on time strategy. The tests helped me fix that gap and get ready for the final test. I was able to work on time strategy with section orders with and without breaks etc. I would recommend taking these tests towards the last 25% of the practice duration to maximise the benefits from them. The scores in these tests varied a lot for me so I am not sure whether the change in time strategy was the reason or whether it was the type of questions being asked.
I found GMAT club tests to be very useful. Especially the quants tests. These tests cover all the topics comprehensively and are really helpful to anyone stuggling in quants. All the questions have detailed solutions as well, which helps you to understand the step you faultered in. Also, each question includes statistics that tells you how well you performed as compared to all those who attempted the respective question.
These tests also give you the chance to create customized quizzes. According to the areas you are weak in, you can create customized quizzes from the sections and subsections mentioned. There is also an option to select the difficulty level. Overall the tests are really good for practice.
I have tried the GMAT Club Quant tests and they have helped me develop in a very short period of time. GMAT Club quant tests include difficult questions that help move your quant abilities to the next level. I advise those who are looking to improve their quant level, especially those aspiring to get between 49 and 51, to pursue GMAT Club quant tests as their first and main choice. However, my experience was not as good with GMAT Club verbal tests as I saw they do not closely resemble the actual GMAT verbal section in terms of content, difficulty and grading.
GMAT CLUB quant tests are very good in quality and act as a great tool to check the preparedness for the D day; However, I believe they are tougher than the actual test.
In my opinion, the data set can be combined with a an improved algorithm to match the adaptive nature of the difficulty of the test, but overall questions are very thoughtfully crafted to test the core quant concepts. As one starts taking CATs, there will be ample opportunity to identify gaps, if any, in the preparation and go through core concepts in various threads provided in the explanations of each question.
The Verbal tests are fewer in number and I would rate them as average in terms of quality and overall resemblance to the actual test.
I would highly recommend every aspirant who is targeting 700+ to attempt GMAT CLUB CATS.
Cheers
The GMAT Club Quant CATs are of very high quality. It challenges someone who has his/her fundamentals strong. However, if you are someone whose math fundamentals are weak, you are going to struggle on these tests. So I suggest one puts these tests to use after familiarising oneself with the type of questions and concepts. Anything above a Q48 on these tests indicate that you are likely to score a Q49 or above on the actual test.
The verbal questions failed to impress me. There are quite a few low quality questions and the explanations for many are unclear.
Gmat club tests are difficult than the original paper, helping you to gain confidence in your approach and improving your approach.
I would highly recommend Gmat club tests to anyone thinking not to only take the Gmat but also to score an amazing score in Gmat in a short period of time.
The answers explanation too are apt and updated regularly if any inconstancy is found.
Both Quant and Verbal are very helpful in making you a better match for gmat.
Thank you Gmat Club for being such a wonderful help and for being such an amazing mentor to this kid trying to ace the Gmat.
Not only the quality of questions in the GMAT club tests is top-notch, but the explanations too are simply the best. Each question comes with its own discussion forum, where some of the best experts in the industry share tips and tricks. This ensures that you are exposed to multiple methods to solve each question and as a result, better equipped to approach any problem in different ways. Small details like the formatting of the text, resizable test interface, relevant post-test analytics, and the customizable quiz mode, truly elevate the quality of this product.
Although not inadequate, the number of questions in the verbal section could be increased to match the number of questions in the quant section. Since both the sections are of equal importance in the final test, I don't see why there should be any disparity between the two sections.
All in all, these tests will genuinely help you in your test preparation journey and can potentially improve your score by a good margin.
The gmat club tests are worth buying. They give an apt experience of the actual test environment and make sure that you are well prepared before the exam. Please make sure that you take them like you would your actual exam. The quant tests especially are very good. they are harder than the actual exam which prepares you for the day.The gmat club tests have given me a great opportunity to practice as well asbe prepared for the gmat exam. Though I do think that they are a bit expensive and the price could be reduced,Best of luck for your prep
This is unbiased review of gmatclub.
A preview of me:
I am typical Indian engg that goes to undergrad with no idea of his/her future.
After my undergrad, I decided I wanted to switch fields and what better than a MBA for my future career.
I have prepared across several platforms, namely Magoosh, egmat and gmat prep software.
By far the content, quality and quantity is the most rich in gmat club tests.
It not only serves you with the questions that are very closely related to the concepts tested on real gmat but so many of them that if you do go through them you're destined to improve your score by in a range of 50-100 given that you are doing it religiously.
Also I have given it 4 stars because I think the verbal tests could have more content and nothing in this world is perfect. But that's what makes us human, chasing perfection perfect.
Thanks bb n Bunuel you guys are great. Keep up the good work.
Hello Everyone, I started preparing for GMAT for the second time 5 months back, my previous score score was 350 Q30 V10, and 5 months back I started from from giving a official and kaplan mock in which I scored 370 and 360 respectively so I knew It's a long way to go.
First two months I cleared my concepts and still working to become a pro using official guides and manhattan guides.
After attempting questions from official guides and gmatclub, the highest I was able to score in Gmatclub tests was 23, but I was carefully reviewing my mistakes which was enough for my score to increase a little .
On 8th feb 2021 I gave my second Kaplan Mock I scored 430 Q27 V21 which was a 70 points improvement and in the third mock (don't know the date) I scored 510 Q31 V22 which was a 80 points improvement. As you can see my mock score increased when I started using gmatclub tests, and in my lot of posts I have recommended a lot of people to try gmatclub tests. I have not given GMAT yet but I know that I will conquer this exam.
