awesome tests

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Gmat club tests are very good.questions are of mixed difficulty level, which prepare you well for the actual Gmat exam.explanations provided by bunuel are awesome.it helps you to know your weakness and work on it.the difficulty level of questions in math sections are bit higher, but it prepares you for worst.the verbal exams are also good.i found some explanation not convincing though.overall i am happy with gmat club test.the scoring algorithm may not be that close to real time gmat exam but are close enough to make you understand where you right now stand in your preparation.

Great Practice for Great Value

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I have tried several computer-adaptive tests online usually for around $20-50 and have found GMAT Club's CAT's give great value for an extensive amount of practice, especially for Quant. Although I have a good foundation in the math concepts covered by the GMAT, I could not seem to do well in sample tests due to the time pressure and how the difficult of the questions increased progressively. The amount of questions for practice available through GMAT Club gave me the confidence to spot my errors and the explanations were pretty great. Some review books may offer just one way of looking at the problem but I appreciated GMAT Club providing two ways of assessing and solving it. My only issue is that sometimes the interface is buggy and there are lags in between questions

In terms of the score analysis reports, they are one of the better ones out there for keeping track. I highly recommend subscribing to GMAT Club because you'll definitely get your money's worth.

Satisfactory

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

I want to reach out to people who are looking for more questions(other than the official) out there. I agree with everyone saying that the questions from Official Guide are the closest ones you get in the exam. If you still feel the need to solve questions both from Quant and Verbal, it is better to buy the tests package from gmatclub. The Quant section in these tests is very good and close to that of official guide. They were specially composed by bb and Bunuel. Basically I am good at Maths and weak at Verbal. Coming to verbal section, I think it needs some improvement compared to the GMAC. The scoring algorithm is better than the MGMAT's algorithm. The questions come from a big pool and maintain the balance among easy, moderate and hard question types.
I bought the bundled version of GMAT club tests with e-GMAT course.

Gmat Club Tests Review

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

I have been on Gmatclub site for 2 years approx now and i have taken gmatclub tests with quant in focus. The quant tests are real gem for any candidate. The question spread is very good and the quality of question is at par with gmat actual test. It's good for both who is starting preparation and for those who just want to check where they stand after preparation. The explanation of the solutions are crisp with answers from veterans like Bunnel making it crystal clear to understand. Best thing is you don't have to search the questions at other places for solutions as this is adequate. I will be giving verbal tests as well soon and will come up with more reviews soon. I have given gmat test and i can say that this simulation including questions are very close to the actual gmat.

Thanks,
Aditya.

GMAT Club Test- Great for Quant, not so great for Verbal

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I took the GMAT and scored a 47 in Quant. I turned to GMAT Club Tests to improve my score. The GMAT Club Quant tests are a great resource for Quant. I found the tests were more difficult in that I faced more number of difficult questions thrown at me. Just the sheer number of questions they give for practice should be a strong enough a reason for you to take these test. By the time you take up all the 26 test you will end up being a pro in Quant! So don't get demotivated if you find the tests to be difficult. I think that since they are more difficult they help you in pushing your limits and when you write the real GMAT you will find that one to be much easier and this is what happened with me. I scored a 50! And I couldn't have achieved it without the GMAT Club Quant test!
As for Verbal, I found the tests to be good but not great. I found that the explanations provided for the answers for a few questions very questionable and vague. They might not be the best material for Verbal but they are good enough for practice. They may not give 26 tests for Verbal, but they do give 9 which still more than what anyone else gives.
Bottom-line go for it! :D

Quant great, Verbal not so great

QUANT TESTS REVIEW
Whats good - The questions set
1.The quant tests are very good. These tests are closer to GMAT official format than any other CATS I have tried for ex- Manhattan CATS, economist GMAT, Veritas Prep. The questions mimic the the actual official qs very closely.

What could be improved - The algorithm for the CAT. Though questions are very good and very close to real official qs, the algorithm is not very close to GMAT prep. The type or topic of qs thrown one after another are many times same which is not the case with GMAT prep. Also the order of difficulty of qs is also off from real test.

Overall Verdict - One of the best question banks with comprehensive coverage of topics for honing quant skills. Works extremely well for practice but not as well if taken as CAT for indication on score.
VERBAL TEST REVIEW
I would say though ok not so good. The questions quality is not apar with other available mock CATS from other companies especially in SC and CR. RC is ok.
Verbal CATS is really an area where there is need gap for CAT or question banks which are closer to official GMAT prep qs.None of available CATS form prep companies are able to fulfill this need. Same is with gmatclub verbal tests.
Sometimes, the answer for few qs especially in CR is debatable.
The algorithm is also really off in verbal. Even after string of correct 600 level qs, the test was not giving 700 level qs.
Overall Verdict for verbal - Its ok but no where close the quality of questions in quant tests.

SUMMARY of review :
Gmatclub is rightly known for quant questions quality and is worth the dollars spent. Verbal Tests quality has much scope for improvement. I would strongly recommend the gmatclub to take up it as challenge and fulfuill the need gap of really good verbal CAT or atleast questions set which mimics the offical one.

My feedback with suggestions for club test

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

I like the question bank available on gmat club test. It has a good mixture of all types of questions. The way we can organize test questions is unique compared to other test. GMAT club test provide many options to choose the questions from a particular topic and also of varying difficulty level. The strongest advantage of the club test I could analyse over other available tests is the link for discussion with every question. I like it very much because many of the enthusiasts are using it to put their question and I find at-least one of them replicating my thoughts. Also so many queries are being answered in that link, that it helps me to understand the problem thoroughly.

I have given my GMAT so would try to give some feedback regarding the accuracy of test scores. This is just a feedback and not any decision from my side. For quantitative section i found my score in actual GMAT better than the score I used to achieve in club test. The average difference was about 3-4 points. I used to score better in quant during practice with other practice tests also than what I used to score in club test. Regarding Verbal this is reverse. I used to score better in club test but I did not receive similar result in my actual GMAT test. The average difference was about 3-5 points. With respect to other practice test I used, club tests results were almost same for me. As a whole I believe the accuracy of club test is good.

Regarding what can you improve. I tend to see that I make mistakes most of the time because of not focusing on the question, specifically on each words and hence end up in making silly mistakes. This could be due to time pressure. I feel in the solution section if club test can also highlight such important words in the question which the test giver should focus, it will help test givers to make it his habit ,every time, to focus in similar way for all the questions. This attempt may very depending on the question requirement.
Second point. For the solution section if you can provide a structured approach to reach the solution. I especially struggle in the verbal section and usually lost in finding the errors. A structured approach will help me to start attempting the question in particular manner because of which I should definitely find the correct answer. This type of answering approach I could find with eGMAT.
Third Point. Just as an added portion with in the solution section, you can also have links to understand the theory part of the subject. Usually if i don't know the theory I go to google and read it there. Although I found that GMAT club itself has a good resource for every topic but searching it looks difficult to me sometimes.
Above presented points are just my views. I hope it helps you. You are doing a great job. Best of wishes.

I recommend GMAT club tests to improve Quant score!!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

A good quant score is very much essential to reach in 700+ score clubbers and one way to improve is by enrolling GMAT club tests.26 quant tests are enough to put us in the range of 48-51 quant score and every dollar on GMAT club test is worth spending.

The GMAT Club tests are great practice materials and really help those looking to boost their Q scores into the 48-51 range. I personally improved my Q score from 39 to 48 using the challenging and exclusive questions solved during the practice test exams .Moreover quant tests solution teach really nice shortcuts to solve problems.

The level of GMAT tests questions is higher than Actual GMAT exam, but practising them helped me to clarify my fundamentals ,to cut down silly mistakes I used to make , to perform under pressure and to manage the time. Besides, I could see how others fared on these questions, and that gave me confidence.

Very good set of questions for a overall practice

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

the questions are really of very high standard.
it has all type and difficulty of questions.
the flexibility to reset and create quizzes are really helpful.
Gives a very good platform to have a nice revise.
more verbal questions can be included in quizzes. there is sufficient quants. only revisisng the quants would be more than enough for the test.
If more verbal can be included then it would be great.if atleaset 200 questions of good quality of verbal would be added then there is no need of any other practice tests i guess.Overall a very good product in a good price.

keep up the good work.

GMAT CLUB TESTS ARE MUST

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

Hi All,
I got free subscription of GMATCLUB TESTS with EGMAT verbal live course. Prior practicing these tests my actual score on real GMAT was 43. I did these tests 3 times and in all different ways such as tests, study mode with explanation and quiz mode. After 3 months my score on real GMAT was 49. I recommend GC Tests to all who are not very good in quants.
I would also request BB to improve the verbal section as it is not very much in par with real Gmat. It would be really great if GMATCLUB could hire services of some very good verbal moderator who would be same as Bunnel for quant.

Thanks
Anurag
