Highly recommend in a time crunch

My quant increased from 34 (practice test) to 47 after one month of TTP. Highly recommended if you have only a month to study like I did. It's self-directed, which I prefer, and customizable with very clear explanations and tutorials. I didn't pay for mentoring, but Jeff still gave me a call after I signed up for the one-day trial. That was really helpful in answering my ignorant GMAT questions at the outset.

The chapters are long, so I was sometimes overwhelmed given my time crunch, but they're very thorough. I'd recommend taking every chapter practice test and afterward studying only the chapters that you need to study. Plenty of questions to work through.

5 stars because Jeff was so helpful and the software allowed me to take targeted test after targeted test, which is how I best prepare. And it didn't cost $1,000 like some of the study classes. That's a plus.

After preparing for the GMAT with Target Test Prep, I was able to score a 720. The help that I got from TTP was critical in my GMAT success. At the time, I was living and working in Rwanda, and this made me worried that I would be at a disadvantage as I prepared, but after finding TTP I was able to construct a solid study plan. My instructor worked very well with me, and after a lot of hard work, I felt fully confident on exam day. Thank you TTP for being so accommodating with the time difference and poor internet, and keeping me sane and focused throughout the process and helping me get into Wharton!

A must-do course for Quant Excellence

I started taking GMAT mocks after a bit of self-study and I was around 36-37 in Quant. That bothered me and I started exploring some effective method of learning. I referred many books and purchased some online material. Although these tools helped me to cross the Q40 mark, I was still struggling to get an excellent score (in the range of 47-51).

I came across Target Test Prep course for Quant preparation through GMAT Club forum and took a trial. I loved the way the entire course is organized. The course takes you from the easiest concept from your high school days to the toughest question you can expect on the GMAT. I truly enjoyed the course. There are also several tests for every chapter to give you an insight into how much you have actually grasped. These tests are arranged in the increasing order of difficulty. This will indeed boost your confidence. Also, for every question or example, clear explanation is given to help you understand the concept.

Overall, I really loved and enjoyed the course. I took GMAT after one month of taking this course and ended up with a satisfying Q49. I highly recommend Target Test Prep to anyone aiming to score high in the Quant section of the GMAT. According to me, Target Test Prep is the best resource for GMAT Quant preparation.

Working with TTP and Jeff was a fantastic experience. During our lessons Jeff was able to provide tips and shortcuts to save valuable time during the test, and the online resources at Target Test Prep are exceptionally well put together. My favorite aspect of TTP was the custom test tool; If I only had 15 minutes to study I could create a quick-hit 5 question quiz, or during my dedicated study time I could create longer tests that focused on key areas, with varying degrees of difficulty. If you are struggling with quant, or just need to get a few extra points, I would highly recommend a subscription with TTP and additional private lessons with Jeff. Not only did I improve my score by 150 points, but I was also able to improve my IR score from a 6 to a perfect 8!

I’m happy to say I was recently accepted to McCombs School of Business – Thank you Target Test Prep!

I took the GMAT for the first time in December 2014 and I did not do well at all. Both my quant (30) and verbal (29) scores were low. I studied very hard for 6 months with a tutor, the Original Guide, and some Manhattan GMAT books that were handed down to me. I purchased the Target Test Prep flexible preparation plan about 30 days before my GMAT test date, and began using Target Test Prep casually to beef up my knowledge in the harder quant subjects like Permutations and Combinatorics. I was impressed with the amount of information in the chapters, but I did not have enough time to finish the entire curriculum before taking the GMAT. My GMAT score increased 120 points because I was able to take my verbal score from a 29 to a 40; however, my quant score pretty much stayed the same. I was discouraged and burnt out, which led me to defer applying to business schools until the next Fall. I took about 6 months off and began studying again in January 2016. This time, I put my pride aside and began working through the Target Test Prep curriculum from the very beginning. I soon began to realize that my quant scores were so low because I didn't have a good grasp of the basics, and Target Test Prep was actually teaching me those basics! I made flashcards of all the "Must Knows" in the curriculum and quizzed myself any time I had some free time. I contacted Target Test Prep about their tutoring services after I had worked through approximately 25% of the curriculum. I started working with Jeff Miller and he was fantastic! Working with Jeff really helped to solidify the information in my brain. As a supplement for harder to grasp chapters, I would also watch Target Test Prep's webinars on YouTube for additional help. My quant score increased 12 points from my initial GMAT score and, best of all, I got my confidence back!

I truly enjoyed the TTP plan. I spent almost 7 months studying and had exposure to TTP and two other math/verbal plans. I got something out of every plan but I spent the most time doing the TTP questions. I think their online teaching program (the slides) had the most clear explanations of any of the 3 math programs I did. I also loved their website design.

I highly recommend TTP for anyone who needs help with math. I brought my score from the mid 30's to a 47 and a 48 on the GMAT. I'm now at a top 3 b-school and wouldn't change anything about my study plan.

I'm a regular dude (1230 SAT out of 1600, 27 ACT). I definitely don't set the bar for raw intelligence. There's no quick way to learn this for people like me. I woke up at 4am 4 days a week for 6 months to study before work because that was my freshest brainpower. Target had a test bank that kept the questions fresh and I never had to repeat questions unless I chose to review. I probably put in 300 hours studying but the results were worth it 10x over.

Get this program for math, put in the hours, and have your choice of schools. Good luck.

Wow! I was in a tough spot the week leading up to the test. I had not prepared adequately and was relatively far from where I wanted to be. Although I was doing solidly on Quant, I knew I needed extra help to push me towards my dream score. I stumbled upon TTP after looking for GMAT tutors and finding Jeffrey Miller, the COO. He helped me tremendously, and through the site, I was able to establish a study plan to hone in on the concepts that were really troubling me. Within two days, my ability to complete a problem efficiently and strategically had increased a staggering amount. I knew that the program was giving me the tools and preparation I needed to reach my goal. I used TTP for hours a day, feeling more competent with the material after each chapter. Bottom line - if you need to improve your Quant score, whether you have all the time in the world or only a few days, this is the place to go! The program is easy, affordable, and helpful in breaking down each lesson into the basics that every individual can learn from.

Target Test Prep Flexible Review

Improvement 30 Points

Course Target Test Prep Flexible Prep

In 2015, I had officially decided to attend business school but was worried about my mostly non-traditional background inhibiting my ability to get into my top programs.

I utilized the Kaplan and Manhattan prep books as well as a variety of practice tests and felt confident when I sat for the test the first time. However, I was in for a rude awakening when my brain completely shut down on a simple probability problem that came up as my first question on Quant which was only made worse by the second Geometry question which also through me for a loop.

When my score came out I was devastated having just missed my goal. I realized that while I felt confident in my math skills, I needed them to be second nature.

When scouring youtube for insights on how to continue preparing and to build my quant agility skills, I stumbled on a Target Test Prep video. In the video, the concepts were discussed clearly and concisely and allowed me to understand the concepts better than I had before. Immediately, I reached out to Jeff @ TTP to begin developing a game plan for my second attempt at the test. Jeff was extremely encouraging and encouraged me to sign up for the TTP Flex Plan and told me that he was confident that I could improve my quant score in the little time that I had before the test.

Unlike the CAT practice exams, the Target program does not look to emulate the GMAT instead relying on an interface that it much more conducive to learning and MUCH less panic inducing. This format allowed me to comfortably reinforce my quant skills without continually feeling the time crunch that I had with other practice exams.

When I went to take the test a second time, I sat down much more confident than before and was extremely happy when the score report arrived.

Thank you Jeff and Target Test Prep.

TTP was one of the best prep companies - if not the best - I used in studying for the GMAT. While I was getting relatively consistent verbal scores on practice tests, I had a lot of variance on quant scores. I came across TTP's site, and quickly latched onto it. It's clean, intuitive, and super user-friendly. It also has really strong human support -- when you have a question, someone is there right away to help in their chat tool. TTP became my preferred site for all things quant, beating out some of the heavy hitters: Manhattan GMAT, Kaplan, Economist, Veritas, etc.

I'll also note that I had excellent tutoring sessions with Jeff Miller. Before we met, I identified a couple of problem types that were giving me trouble. Jeff wasted no time (which was important to me given the 160/hr price tag) and helped me understand common approaches I could use to address those same problem types. A couple of times I found myself saying, "That's exactly why I hired you." Kudos to Jeff.

Results were awesome: 760, 8/8, 6/6. Also won the Economist's Brightest Minds Competition. Not a bad haul.

Thanks TTP.

Amazing Product!

After failing at the GMAT twice (using two other test prep companies, and studying independently), I had nearly given up. Whereas my Verbal was always hovering around the 80-90th percentile, my quant was lagging far behind. My first two shots, I managed a top Quant score of 39.

After doing some research, I got in touch with Jeff, who advised me to use the Target Test online portal.

I think, It was the best investment I made- the course is designed to lead to lead you to success. It takes you from the very basic topics and ends at the most complex questions the GMAT could throw at you.

My score improved from a low of 35 to a 42. I understand that this is not a top score, but while I was using Target Test, all I kept thinking, was "if I had more time". I wish I had found this a lot earlier in my preparation. I was never so confident going in to GMAT as I was after using Target. Unfortunately, with a hectic work schedule, I could not complete the course, but still managed to see a 3 point jump on the score!

Combine all of this with excellent customer service, both Jeff and Scott are amazing and very responsive.

I highly recommend this product!
