I took the GMAT several times before the target test prep course and even though I used to get all the questions right at home, I couldn't perform well on the test day. After losing interest in the whole process, my friend advised me to try it one more time and study the target test prep material. I took the advice, however, I didn't have more than 1.5 months. I only got the chance to study 80% of the maths course and the sentence correction from the verbal course. I took the exam and I scored 700!!
TTP changed my way of solving math problems by teaching me new quick ways that helped me tackle every problem in the exam. Additionally, the course helped me improve my ability to solve sentence correction problems by 80%.

4 years ago I received a score of 700 (Q44, V41, IR8, AWA 5) on the GMAT. It was my third attempt and it was one of the luckiest days of my life. I did not have a clear study plan and chose exercises in a haphazard manner. I also never seriously timed myself while doing problem sets. In short, I got incredibly lucky.

A couple of weeks ago I received a score of 770 (Q49, V47, IR8) on the GMAT Online. This is only thanks to TTP and the wonderful platform they have created. Subscribing to TTP is like going back to school. You are told exactly what you need to know and you are given a clear plan and the tools to solve every problem that will come your way on the real thing. For those among us who are of a competitive nature, you are also provided with statistics for each exercise so that you can compare yourself with other users. The Quant section is without fault. I believe that anybody that fully commits to TTP can receive a near-perfect score if they stick to the plan. I was able to complete the Quant section in a month of intensive studying. I am sure that the Verbal section will be just as amazing once it is fully finished. Some parts of the Verbal section are already available and are top quality. I finished the Sentence Correction chapter which I personally found very fun and rewarding.

You won't need anything else in order to succeed on the GMAT. Just stick to it and you will be rewarded. Good luck!

I was really struggling with gmat quant until i found ttp! It is a thorough course that goes from math basics to complicated topics, and believes in the fact that practice makes perfect. I started the course with Q39 in the gmac official practice and i ended up getting a Q48 on the real GMAT after a few months of tough studying. The ttp team helps you with any problem ir request you could have. The verbal section is also amazing, but it is still in pre-launch, im sure that the full program will be as good as quant is. Totally recommended for the dedicated student (as they also claim).

Fantastic self-guided, self-paced course for GMAT Quant

I struggled with the key concepts (number properties, set overlaps, rate / work) but the TTP course is so thorough in its explanations. It gives you neat tips and tricks to master these tough concepts, for e.g. the grid method for overlapping sets or the R-T-D/R-T-W chart for rate/work problems.
I also love love love the Easy/Medium/Hard tests at the end of each chapter. This builds your Quant muscles like now other. I used to dread taking them at the beginning, but after a few chapters, you get into a rhythm – the habit of taking these test regularly also prepped me well for the actual GMAT exam.

Tremendous Improvement - Diagonastic Q32 to Real Q44

I had very very rusty math and on diagonstic test I scored Q32. I was searching for something solid and found TTP on internet. I browsed the site and it got hold of me - it was like love at first sight.
The only mistake I did was, I did not buy it via gmatclub's marketplace and missed additional discounts. This happened because I was a visitor to this gmatclub and used this forum just to see reviews on GMATclub, and I was not a member.

The course is very very nicely structured and user interface is clean and neat. You have very detailed theory for every chapter and then the concepts are reinforced by means by easy, medium and hard tests at the end of every chapter. Also, you can create your own customized quizes/tests.
I am NOT a video person and the answers in plain text made sense to me - precise & step-wise. Of course, there are video explanations as well for the ones who love it.
Moreover, the course ensures that you won't forget the chapters you learnt in beginning, while you are learning new ones. It offers you periodic reviews in plan and tests for the topics you had covered so far. Just follow the plan and you are all set.

I was on and off studies during my preparation, which got elongated to almost 16+ months and I had to repurchase the course as my subscription had ended - Jeff/Scott were generous to give me good discount then and afterwords.

Because of unexpected events in my personal life(my wife's sudden illness and surgery, my 2 yr daughter was falling sick often) and professional life (got promotion but it brought new assignments and changed schedules), I had to take breaks - a month long and sometimes 2 month long breaks.
Because of the breaks I kept forgetting few of the things I did learn in beginning. I had done all the 2500 problems almost twice and was exhausted with OG 15,16,17 guides for verbal and moreover my wife also got tired of this long preparations and I had to wind up GMAT. I scheduled it on Oct 31,2018 and scored 600 (Q44 V28 IR3).
The course did wonders to me from diagnostic Q32 to Q44 on real GMAT. Had I been more disciplined and consistent in my studies, I definitely could have reached 48-49 with this wonderful course. my ESR revealed the same weak areas, what the course was telling me.

My sincere advice is just be disciplined, follow the plan, within the course, read the strategies, that are included.
Don't rush through the course take the time to work and solidify your concepts and it will do wonders.
I definitely am going to retake this wonderful course even for my next attempt.

Sufficient and Straightforward Standalone Way to Study for Quant

Course Target Test Prep Dedicated Study

As a standalone Quant course, TTP was perfect. Probably one of the hardest parts of studying for quant is finding a place to start and developing a comprehensive study plan. For me, the OG book was woefully insufficient in order to reach an acceptably high quant score. TTP had a very structured and comprehensive study plan. It took about 4 months of 3-4 hours studying/day to complete the whole course but it was “easy” in that it was all very straightforward. TTP also forces you to do a ton of practice questions which gave me more than enough reps to feel comfortable with every concept. I feel my foundational math skills have also just generally improved considerably as a result. I have no doubt that most people who complete the course in its entirety will be more than prepared for the GMAT. My one caveat would be to not neglect the recommended official MBA practice tests at the end of the course. While TTP encourages great concept mastery, the format and style of official questions still take some getting used to.

I also completed a portion of the Verbal offering, which is still in Beta. I won’t be rating the Verbal portion because it’s still a work in progress but it’s definitely on the right track. Content is still sparse right now but, I would assume, more lessons and questions are on their way (they added new tests while I was studying).

Target Test Prep was the best quant prep company I used. It’s well designed for self-prep in it’s flexible programs, readings, and video explanations. If you diligently follow all the modules and take no shortcuts, TTP provides a stellar platform to absolutely master the concepts needed to succeed on the GMAT. There’s enough problems at different levels such that you can train to the point where you can’t get problems wrong. I somehow started to have fun in quant prep. Make sure to pair with OG problems and exams and over time you’ll find success.

Target Test Prep was extremely helpful

Target Test Prep helped me immensely in my GMAT preparation. It was the only prep I used and it help me achieve my target score. TTP broke down every topic very clearly, starting from the fundamentals so that I could build upon my knowledge. They've also begun building out a verbal section prep as well, and I found that to be as well broken-down as the quant section. I used the flexible prep program (a monthly payment), and they also allowed me to buy a two-week plan, which was a big bonus in my eyes. I highly recommend TTP, especially if you know your quant needs work!

TTP fixed my mindset for Sentence Correction

TTP gets a lot of love for its quant course, and deservedly so. I started with a fairly high quant baseline, but TTP made it easy to identify my weakest areas and build a plan to improve them. The actual material is very solid and presented in an easily digestible way, but the tools like the error tracker, analytics by question type and concept, and the clear study plans are also incredible.

Where TTP really made a difference for me was in the verbal section. I struggled with sentence correction and was frustrated since it was holding me back from an elite score. TTP's SC material covered the core concepts just as clearly as their quant course, but the real key was the question strategy and mindset that it teaches.

TTP is a great product and along with the official guide, you don't need to look anywhere else for a solid GMAT study plan.

TTP - The only thing you need to ace GMAT Quant

Target Test Prep is the most thorough guide to tackling GMAT quant that I found. The fact that it's a guided program helped me stick to it all the way through. Following completion, I was confidently scoring Q49-51 on all of my mock exams (diagnostic started in mid Q40s). I originally completed the course in 4-6 months and was ready to take my exam, only to have my appointment canceled (Covid-19 pandemic). Scott reached out and gave me advice on how to keep reviewing to stay fresh until the next time I could take the exam (The "Custom Test" feature is great for building practice sets of any section or difficulty).

I would recommend TTP to anyone serious about hitting an elite Quant score or making significant improvements in Quant.
