Dear Friends,
E-Gmat is a game changer in the field of GMAT verbal preparation by its innovative ideas and scientific approaches. I have followed several books and took other online courses for my GMAT exam. But I was not satisfied with my results. E-Gmat approach to solve Sentence correction is truly a rewarding experience.
E-Gmat always stresses on understanding the meaning and the structure of the sentence rather than learning the English grammar by rote. This step by step approach helped me to eliminate the wrong answer choices.
Anyone who is preparing for GMAT should definitely take the free courses available at E-Gmat website. It will help you to understand the E-Gmat approach to solve verbal question.
Above all Rajat and Payal are very much approachable and help you to solve different question. The E-Gmat has a forum to address the doubts of the students. I found this forum activity very useful for my preparation.
Well, I always believed in self study instead of tutor, classes and all. After taking some MGMAT mocks, I realized that verbal score was not improving, and it was always dancing between 29-31. My GMAT was around 2 weeks away, and I thought of taking a GMAT prep test. It was a real bummer and scored 28 on verbal. I knew that I could not change 28 to 38 in 2 weeks time, but did not want to change the exam date either, so talked to Rajat Sadana and explained my situation. Rajat suggested to me to take SC course only. I purchased just that and finished it in 10 days.
The Course was awesome. Concepts were explained like teaching kids at elementary level, so they are hard coded in your memory. Their approach to tackle questions was really strong, if practiced religiously you will overcome timing issues. Their approach digs the question really deep and there is a very little room left for errors.
Not only the SC course, but I also got some free videos on their website for CR and RC course. I worked on their CR bold faced questions approach and figured that my accuracy in OG increased surprisingly using their strategies.
If I would have come to know about their course earlier then I would have turned my 28 verbal to 38+ by doing all 3 sections from their course. Anyways I did good on my test day and was able to score 34 in verbal. I believe e-GMAT course came really handy for this improvement in my score. Not to mention, if you have any doubts or concerns just post it on their website, and you will get reply really fast that is useful for people who get anxious if they have a question while studying.
I believe that if one seriously studies all 3 sections from their course and practices really well using those techniques for all OG and Verbal Review questions, then one can easily improve by 7-8 points in verbal.
I have taken knewton, a instructor-lead verbal course in bangalore and e-gmat. E-gmat teaching methodology is unique and the best.
I have always liked the pictorial method of teaching and e-gmat teaches concepts representing them in a pictorial fashion. The concepts are concise and to the point. They have a great customer support. Compared to other Test Prep company, their course cost is reasonable.
I have researched a lot and finally took e-gmat after getting twice fooled by knewton and the local test prep company. E-gmat is value for money. If you are looking for something in verbal, e-gmat is the final destination.
I Joined the e-gmat Verbal Live Prep course few months ago. At that time i was really weak in the verbal SC and CR. This course really help me to improve my SC and CR. Now a days i am going through RC section.
I have a very busy schedule of work in my company, 10 to 12 hours, after that when i go to home i really don't want to read any thing, but this course is very visual and easy to understand. I scheduled my GMAT date on 22 April 2013. Now given some prep test and improved much in the verbal part..i really like to thanks to the e-gmat people for such a wonderful course.
I am almost done with the course, the SC and CR part is excellent.
I have purchased MGMAT in the past, I feel the e-gmat SC and CR strategy is bit different from MGMAT and better to understand. I read the MGMAT SC Guide thrice but still feel that i am missing some parts, but this course made my life easy.
I will give more details about my experience once i finished my exam...meanwhile i must say that if u are really weak in GMAT verbal, then try ur cent for this course...
Hello Guys,
I would like to share my opinion about the e-gmat course.
I bought the VERBAL LIVE PREP on Feb'13 and had 45 days to study before my GMAT test. On my first attempt I got 530 (Q39-V24) and I was really disappointed with my overall score, specially on verbal section. After doing all sections on E-gmat platform I could improve my score to 690(Q48-V37).
I'm from Brazil and the verbal section was really challenging to me because of difficult vocabulary and short timing to work on each question. It is not easy for a non-native speaker recognize the pattern used on GMAT verbal section and E-gmat platform help you on that. My learning sequence on E-Gmat platform was SC, RC, CR and Integrated Reasoning.
SC: The theory and examples used are very easy to understand and the way E-Gmat presents the content is very illustrative and facilitates memorization. It's is an excellent material. The only negative point is that they have questions solved for OG12th edition and since I bought the new OG13th edition this area was not so helpful to me since they don`t show the alternatives during the explanation.
CR: It is really great material that helps you to understand what the question wants you to recognize. After some time, when you read the passage, you start to recognize the type of question and to remember how the question look like. You can recognize a pattern among questions and improve speed and accuracy.
RC: It was the most difficult part to me. GMAT texts are very detailed and boring. When you start reading a passage, it is very easy to get lost in the middle and have to go back and read it again. In my point of view, there is no trick to get questions correct besides improve comprehension. I improved my comprehension skills watching E-gmat videos and solving many questions on Grockit website. I also spent a lot of time evaluating wrong answers.
IR: The concept videos are very good and give you a very good idea about different type of questions you can found on your GMAT test.
My overall review about e-gmat is very good and I strongly recommend it specially for non-native speakers. It will help you to improve the specific knowledge required on GMAT verbal section and you will not loose time reading many other materials.
The process-wise approach to attack the GMAT works better for the non native speakers like me. I have gone through the e-GMAT course module many times to get the process wired in me. First I thought that I am investing too much time in understanding the process and then applying it, but this investment of time seems paying me now in form of accuracy and time saving.
Though I don't have an official GMAT score to prove my point at this time but I can see the improvement while solving problems during my practice sessions.
The logical diagram to connect Premise and Conclusion dilutes the haunting CR problems and gets you to the right track of thinking with a clear understanding. You can really visualize the argument and its assumptions.
Thanks a lot e-GMAT.

I became an e-gmat SC customer, while I have already completed courses MGMAT (Self Guided Course) as well as GMATPill.com. Even though I completed the courses at those other two programs, which are pretty useful as well, but I have never felt as confident as I do now after completing SC course with Payal. I wish I would have tried this earlier in the process, it would definitely have saved me a lot of time. I would highly recommend this course to anyone whose fundamentals are not as strong as an avg. native speaker and who feels helpless when taking the traditional courses.
"I am a non English native speaker and preparing GMAT. I came across this course through beat the GMAT and GMAT club. I was having issues in SC and this course has helped me to organise my thoughts and select the correct answers quickly.
The team has designed this course in very simple manner which allowed me to learn quickly and apply easily. I feel the best feature of this course is the diagrammatic representations which helped me to retain the material and recall it easily. Another important feature is that it is divided into three parts (level 1, level2, and level2) with the content getting more detailed in each subsequent level.. The step by step progression increases confidence level . At the end of every section you have a diagnostic test which allows self assessment.
The verbal online course of E-gmat is an awesome choice for someone who is very busy and yet enthusiastic enough to study for GMAT in his free time.
The SC course is the best according to me !! it works from the very basic which helps even a person who is not familiar with grammer for a long time. The live sessions are also very lively and informative as i can say from my experience of free live sessions !!! Really gem of a course for non-natives verbal improvement :)
The CR course is helpful for improving the overall accuracy. The prethinking process rocks !! I just loved it.
e-gmat has played a huge role in improving my verbal scores. Iam a non native speaker and verbal on the gmat has been quite challenging. The process is streamlined , intuitive and does indeed cater to the needs of a non native speaker. I have tried numerous other gmat courses and apart from e-gmat nothing has helped me so far. Payal has done a good job in explaining some of the challenging topics in verbal such as modifiers and meaning based questions. The reading strategies in RC have also helped me tremendously. I only wish they had more sessions on RC :)
