Accepted at Stanford!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I approached Katharine over a year ago regarding my rather nontraditional background and application. I was instantly impressed by her knowledge of all the top programs and her proposed strategy for my application. Katharine encouraged me to apply to the top programs, Harvard and Stanford, and laid out a timeline for us to work together. After considering my options, I decided that Katharine would be the best fit to advise me on my application, and I am so glad I did. Katharine was an admissions officer at Stanford, (my target school) and has a thorough understanding of how Stanford evaluates/reviews applications. She helped me think through every detail of my application -- personal narrative, extracurriculars, etc. -- and she kept me on track for the deadlines. Katharine is an expert when it comes to the details; I am certain that her thoughtful approach was the tipping point for my application, and the result was exactly what I hoped for -- I was accepted to Stanford GSB! Thank you Katharine for all the time and effort you put forth working with me. I would highly recommend that anyone work with Katharine to achieve their MBA goals!

Rachel Beck - Best there is

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

Rachel was the best consultant I could have ever asked for and could not recommend her more to anyone who is looking to get into their top choice MBA programs.

Rachel and I hit it off right from the first consultation meeting. I had been on a few other initial meetings before with other consultants, but I immediately clicked with her and could feel that she was going to be by my side the whole time. She was upfront with me about her working style and told me that I needed be organized and dedicated to working hard if I was going to achieve my goal. Even during the first free consultation, she was already giving me tips on how to improve my resume and gave me examples of different opportunities to help round out my resume.

Once we got kicked off the brainstorming, she was always extremely prepared, compassionate and her dedication to her applicants was evident. Despite both of us having wildly different backgrounds, she read my brainstorming document many times and was able to put herself in my shoes, coming up with multiple unique ways I could tackle the essays. Her background in journalism really shined as she helped me identify strong connections between my early years all the way to my current job into my future career goals.

I went through many drafts along the way and Rachel was always willing to entertain my ideas but always made sure it fit my broader application. I loved how upfront she was with me about parts of my essays that didn’t work, tough reality checks that I certainly needed at times. She was also very timely with her responses and I don’t remember a single time that she didn’t reply within the stated timeframe and more often than not, it was a much quicker timeframe.

At the end of the day, I got into 2 of the 3 schools that I applied to (Wharton and Columbia), both schools that were likely reaches for me had I not sought Rachel’s help.

I couldn’t recommend Rachel more and am so glad that we got to work together. If you are serious about your MBA candidacy, you cannot go wrong by having her on your side.

highly recommend Debbie

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Debbie helped me apply for a few MBA programs. It was a truly amazing experience working with her and eventually I got the admission offer from Stanford GSB, my dream one and simply the top on my wish list. It wouldn't have been possible without Debbie's help.

Debbie was a good listener and she quickly got to know me as a person during the brainstorming session. She never made stories for me, but conversations with her were inspiring and they did help me find myself, and excellent essay writing was naturally a result of it. Application was a long, and sometimes, easy-to-lost process. Debbie was not only inspiring but strategic. Her suggestions on time arrangements, test preparations, key points in writings, etc., were practically useful. Her mental support also helped me go through this challenging period.

It wasn't purely the good result that led me to leave this review, but it is really about her professionalism and inspirations during the process which I truly respect and highly recommend.

Partnering with Katy is a MUST!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by gmat club tests [?]

It’s hard to imagine how I would have navigated my business school application journey without a coach and true supporter like Katy Lewis. The first person I called to share the good news of my acceptances and the last person I consulted right before hitting “submit,” Katy was with me every step of the application process, and we grew to be exceptional working partners. Her professionalism and dedication to her clients are unmatched. A lifelong musician outside my banking day job, I immediately saw the value she could bring to my candidacy when she said that she’d be taking on the role of “conductor” behind the scenes, helping to push me to reflect, work hard, and display my best for the admissions committee to see. She did exactly that.

My eyes are set on Wharton, where I’ll be attending with a full-tuition merit scholarship.

I cannot recommend Katy highly enough!

Highly Recommend Michael

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

Michael was great to work with and made me feel confident in my application. I needed assistance bolstering the analytical side of my profile and he did just that. His help with my resume was amazing.

Michael's communication was clear and direct which helped me manage my expectations during the business school application process. I felt like I could ask any question small or big.

He is a great consultant to work with especially if you feel you need more attention to the quantitative side of your profile. As someone with a lower GRE/ (157 V/158 Q) score I felt confident with my applications because of Michael's help.

I was admitted into Ross, Cornell and Foster.

In Good Hands

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Harshad was instrumental to my success. I worked with him through mbaMission’s 3 school package. Not fitting the typical mold, I was very apprehensive about how to portray myself appropriately to the admissions committees. Harshad was recommended to me because he had the “heart of a storyteller”. When we first spoke, his emotional intelligence stood out amongst other qualified professionals I had interviewed for advisory. I was convinced he was the right person to guide me.

In October, I was overwhelmed with what to do. I was full of questions, but Harshad was prepared for all of my inquiries, even scheduling time with me during nights and weekends to accommodate my full-time work schedule. He always responded to my questions promptly. His responses were crisp and insightful.

We began with a brainstorming document that formed the foundation of our work going forward. Afterward, I started drafting my first essays. Harshad was direct in his feedback: several of my drafts were subpar. It was tough for me to accept this reality, but Harshad’s tact and empathy helped me move forward with the necessary changes. I re-wrote the drafts multiple times. I encountered a similar process during my mock interviews and my resume writing as well. The final products were worth it.

Applying to B-school was a critical time in my life, but having an adept, caring professional advising made a world of difference. This week, I received an acceptance from my top pick going into the process. I had hoped for my dream school, but getting in feels completely surreal. I am deeply grateful for all of Harshad’s guidance.

Accepted to Columbia EMBA with Katherine Lewis' help!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I am very happy to have been recommended Katharine by a work colleague. I have been working in hospitality for 17 years and was apprehensive about even applying for the Columbia EMBA Global Program. After my first initial consultation with Katharine, she not only gave me the confidence to apply but reassured me that I was a good fit for the program. Katharine was very helpful at every stage of the application process and really helped me to highlight the best attributes of my career and personality in my application. Katharine is able to provide the insight of an admissions person having worked in admissions herself and I would not have wanted to go through the application process without her insight. Highly recommend!

Look no further!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I highly recommend working with Harshad to help you with your business school applications. Through his help and a long few months, I got into GSB, Wharton and Booth!

I actually started a little late (in November) for Round 2 deadlines but Harshad was more than up for the challenge. He set expectations upfront - we knew going in this is going to be an uphill battle.

From the onset it was clear that Harshad was highly organized and methodical in his approach. Harshad is definitely not someone who will beat around the bush and/or sugarcoat. He is direct but thoughtful which is the exact duo you will need while going through this process, especially when you get to a point where every day matters. I did this application process while working full time which definitely made my availability difficult but Harshad was very flexible and available for late nights and weekends, whenever I needed him! He is unparalleled with his turnaround time which definitely surpassed my expectations.

Part of the challenge of building out your application is not just having a good story but showing the story rather than telling the story. This is where I found Harshad to be a differentiator - he takes the time to get to know you, your interests, your passions and who you are as a person and makes sure to reflect that in his process to helping build out your application. He will steer you away when you think certain information is valuable to have but is really just fluff (which was extremely useful when trying to meet those pesky word counts!) and push you to write more impact even when you think there isn't anything left. During the mock interviews, he falls into school specific persons that allow you to really practice through different styles of interviews.

Overall, Harshad genuinely wants you to succeed and will do his best to get you to the best place you can be. I recommended Harshad without reservation and to the fullest extent!

Work with Katy!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I did an extensive amount of research on MBA consultants and chose Katy Lewis for her fabulous reviews and expertise with top schools (Harvard / Stanford) and applicants with "traditional" consulting / finance backgrounds like myself. In all aspects of the process I was extremely impressed by her - she was incredibly helpful in the brainstorming / narrative formulation component and was also invaluable in providing feedback on essays. After receiving interviews at Harvard and Wharton, I did multiple mock interviews with Katy and found them to be extremely representative of the real interviews. She is an expert at positioning candidates for top schools and is also a wonderful coach and cheerleader through what can be a very stressful process.

I was ultimately admitted to Wharton with scholarship, but chose not to attend for a few reasons (mostly COVID uncertainty and a compelling other work opportunity). Katy went out of her way to advise me professionally and also to help me position myself as a reapplicant. This year, I applied again and was admitted to GSB and Wharton with significantly more scholarship than last year. Would highly recommend working with Katy, particularly if you're targeting top business schools!

Krista is simply fantastic.
After obtaining my GMAT score, I have decided to apply to MBA business schools, but I do not have any experience, and the only advice I can get is from some agents introduced to me by my parents. That has been neither rewarding nor enriching and is very inefficient.
I got into a panic, and after reading through reviews, I have decided on MBAmissions. Krista is the one I chatted with initially, and she was the one who has been with me throughout this long and arduous process from the beginning to the end.
Krista has been very effective in pinpointing the next step of action. She has been very experienced and organized in every step taken to ensure that my time has been used effectively. With so little time at hand, not a single second has been wasted without her giving me valuable feedback on my short answer questions or my essay drafts. As a person who values effectiveness and efficiency, I think Krista is one of the best I have ever encountered, and working with her is seamless.
Another thing which I think that Krista is a valuable existence for all those seeking assistance on MBA application is how helpful and resourceful Krista is. It is very easy to get confused with MBA applications in essay writing, short answers writing, the GMAT (if you need to retake it), networking, and talking to the admission staff. And Krista is there for anyone serious about their MBA applications. How do you approach the alumni and schedule meetings with MBA admission staff, you ask it, and you will be answered. Thus, I would like to offer a word of advice for anyone who wants to apply for their MBA with Krista, never be afraid to ask questions regarding your MBA applications; in truth, you are helping yourself by doing so. And from my experience, if you did, she would help you.
Not only did Krista support me in terms of her professional expertise, which is one of the most refined, but she also supported me emotionally. After being waitlisted by other MBA schools, I was disappointed and disheartened, but I felt much better after confiding with her. She has been optimistic, and I was encouraged by her kind comments. She has this phrase, “it is never over until it is over” sometimes, waiting for a decision can take you into an emotional turmoil which makes the experience not so exciting. Still, Krista certainly makes my experience more light-hearted.
I am grateful to have Krista to help me with my MBA application. However, I am even more grateful to have met her and to know them as a professional and a friend. I hope she stays healthy, and I hope anyone who wishes to engage Krista to help with their MBA application has the best and brightest future.
