If you want to score a 700+, look no further. Going through the well explained Manhattan GMAT guides and watching Thursdays with Ron alone will help you score that 700+.
My verbal did not improve from my diagnostic exam. (I am a native speaker). In my diagnostic exam I got a 41V but on test day I got a 37V. I am not sure why this is as I have scored at least a 38V or higher on all of my practice tests. I do wish that the MGMAT verbal guides had multiple choice questions in the back (to simulate test questions) instead of the short answer questions that they currently have.
For Quant, the books are good to clarify concepts and lay down fundaments but I felt overall the quant tests from MGMAT are a bit more tedious than the actual GMAT which has slightly more witty questions which can make the real GMAT challenging. Along with this I would suggest to use the gmatclub Quant practise tests which are extremely representative. I suggest to focus on verbal for MGMAT and gmatclub tests for Quant.
As I mentioned, MGMAT Prep is a good investment but I do think to really ace both Verbal and Quant you need a bit more specifically on the quant side. The verbal of MGMAT is brilliant - it seriously helped me clarify my understanding and devise an attack strategy for my verbal. The MGMAT course review books are so fundamental to picking upn on the basics of the GMAT. I Dont know about all of you but they make concepts so clear and concise and so easy to follow that they really did help me better understand the material. The Quant Section was very good I especially liked the Advanced sections at the end of every book. Verbal was more or less ehhhh but Verbal is not a hard component of this test unless your a non-native speaker would highly recommend!! I would especially recommend the advanced quant book from MGMAT it really is a comprehensive book which lays out all the different tricks and GMAC can formulate questions. Would highly recommend coupled with the OG Guide to perform well on your exam.
Manhattan GMAT prep has a very extensive preparation material. I took 6 mock test package.
The mock tests with Manhattan were really good and were really realistic. The content of the test, the questions were pretty much close to the actual GMAT or of higher level. But the pattern of question is as good as actual GMAT.
For Verbal section the content is very rich and approximately of same toughness as in GMAT hence very useful.
For Quant section the content is lil on the higher side of toughness when compared with GMAT but a 46-47 here means 50 in the actual GMAT.
The Manhattan GMAT prep set was the only resource I used to study for my GMAT. The discrete guides were a great way to really focus on your weaknesses. In general, you want to avoid spending too much time on things that are already strong on so I truthfully read about half the books in depth and skimmed the other half.
Additionally, the practice pad was instrumental in getting my score squarely above 700. I would attribute a good 20 points to proper pad management - setting it up ahead of time and using it to help manage time.
Additionally, the teaching content of the guides were great - the GMAT is a game and the MGMAT materials treats it as such - it gives you the strategies and trains you to know how to play the game. You don't need to genuinely understand or know the content intimately to ace the GMAT - you need to know how to play the game.

I purchased the verbal course from Manhattan Prep as I saw most room for improvement in that area and gave myself 4 weeks to study intensely. I scored a 99 percentile in the verbal - despite thinking quant was my strong suit.
In short - MPrep is absolutely worth it - you get a complete set of materials and their practice exams prepare you VERY well for the real test. The tutorials on timing and bucketing questions were worth their weight in gold.
in more detail -
The content is very straight to the point and focused on the actual test questions (as opposed to teaching endless grammar rules). MPrep also focuses on the most popular GMAT question types and content (a lot of other sources do not prioritize the material in this way, leading to a highly inefficient studying experience)
The interface is very easy and entertaining, the mix of video content and textbook work is good and keeps you engaged
I would like to share my positive experience with Manhattan Gmat Prep self study kit and a 9 week prep course taught by Noah Teitelbaum. In addition to very interactive and engaging instruction, the material and strategies covered during the preparation helped me improve my score from 570 (Q37, V29) to 740 (Q49, V41). The key to my preparation was blocking out time slots throughout the week to go through the material and follow the syllabus during the course and then focusing on practice and solving the problem from GMAT Official Guide for a few weeks after the course was completed to allow the information to fully sink in, timing per problem to improve and become more consistent. Keeping up the pace throughout the exam and being ready to endure the 3.5hrs exam without loosing focus is also crucial.
I started my gmat preparation with an official test, scored 680 in first attempt. I checked which areas needed improvement and use the Manhattan preparation material for studying those topics. The material helped me clear my doubts and helped me improve in the areas where I struggled with the first test. It easily helped me score 720 in my gmat exam and thus, I will recommend it to everyone. I studied quant word problems which helped me in understanding Statistics, Number System and Geometry. The verbal material was also very detailed and helped me in improving my score in Critical Reasoning and Sentence Correction.
I opted for this course in order to get the access to the MGMAT guides and officially began my preparation for the test. I think the books did a good job in providing the fundamentals of the course and the IR course on the GMAT interact helped in understanding that section. The OG tracker i.e. the navigator and the access to the 6 MGMAT tests came free with this course and were really helpful in measuring the performance during the preparation. I would recommend you to start your study for the GMAT with these books to develop your foundation and then maybe after some practice tests figure out your weak areas and see if the course can help, in case not you can either upgrade to live/interact or switch to a course that can provide you a online video based learning.
ManhattanPrep is awesome...i am non-native English speaker and believe me SC and RC were something like nightmares for me. Then i purchased used Manhattanprep book for SC and believe me my score in SC starts improving to a level that now i am ranked in top ten at gmatclub. when i started gmat, i though i wont be able to do it and thus i couldnt score much on my test. but then i bought this book and now i have been scoring 650+. My verbal score has actually put a great impact on my overall score. I, once, wrote to Stacey and she helped me. Moreover, Ron, the guru of gmat, has helped me alot via his free videos (thursday with ron). I will definitely recommend this course to everyone and i am totally confident that this time i can score 700+. Thanks Manhattan
