I purchased the verbal course from Manhattan Prep as I saw most room for improvement in that area and gave myself 4 weeks to study intensely. I scored a 99 percentile in the verbal - despite thinking quant was my strong suit.
In short - MPrep is absolutely worth it - you get a complete set of materials and their practice exams prepare you VERY well for the real test. The tutorials on timing and bucketing questions were worth their weight in gold.
in more detail -
The content is very straight to the point and focused on the actual test questions (as opposed to teaching endless grammar rules). MPrep also focuses on the most popular GMAT question types and content (a lot of other sources do not prioritize the material in this way, leading to a highly inefficient studying experience)
The interface is very easy and entertaining, the mix of video content and textbook work is good and keeps you engaged
