How I Landed an M7 MBA with Rachel Beck

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

Rachel was invaluable in my application process. I applied to only one M7 program and can’t fathom the quality difference between my final application and the one I had started out with on my own.
Business school applications are like training for a marathon and Rachel was the best coach I could have asked for. She took the time to learn about my past, present and future in all aspects of my life, not just educational/professional. She was always honest yet gave me the opportunity to push back when I felt strongly about something. She was warm, inquisitive, and sympathetic.
Rachel always responded well-within the guaranteed time, even on vacation. She held me to deadlines without being too pushy and was able to pivot with our strategy when we hit a roadblock. We are both perfectionists; I had comfort knowing I could ask her opinion on anything, no matter how small.
When I told Rachel about my acceptance, she was genuinely as excited about the news as I was. I would recommend her to anyone looking to apply to a top-tier MBA.

Outstanding service helped me getting into dream M7

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I used mbaMission's hourly service to polish my M7 B-School application (only applied to my dream school). I have reached out to Rachel, as I believed her to be the best fit and I was absolutely right. Rachel is an absolute superstar admissions consultant and knows every step to take in order to make my application well-rounded and just perfect. While I thought to have put together a great application, she always found a way to bring out the last bit in my essays or CV. She was always very kind and asked me the right questions so that I could reflect my thoughts properly. Whenever I needed her help, she made herself available within 1-2 days (even during her vacation). She was always on point, punctual and never missed anything that she promised to do or send me. During our calls we did not lose any time and had productive sessions every time.
While at first I was sceptical about consultant services, I now really see the value. This was the best invested money I ever spent. I am not sure whether I would have gotten in without her help, but I am sure that everyone has a real chance with her help!

Rachel is Fabulous

Rachel helped me with my application to the Stanford GSB and she is an absolute GEM. Over the course of a few weeks she was able to guide and steer me in the right direction and her understanding of the entire application process is unparalleled relative to others in the market. She is approachable, kind, insightful, thoughtful and deft. She is super responsive, honest, hard-working and her work is like alchemy. Had it not been for her I would have never gotten into my dream school. You need her on your team helping you through this tough process because she is so passionate and because she is an absolute pleasure to work with. Truly first class and wonderful.

Rachel Beck is the Best!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

Rachel was the first MBA consultant I spoke with, and immediately I felt she and I would be a good match. She had a strong ability to be supportive in areas where I didn't feel as comfortable, as well as realistic about what my chances would be for the different schools I was applying to.

Her feedback throughout the process was really honest, and I always felt like she had my best interests at heart and really took the time to get to know me to help me present the best version of myself, which still felt true to who I was as a person. Additionally, her feedback was always timely and I felt she really "got" who I was as a person.

Applying to business school is a lot of work - you're really only going to get as much value out of an admissions consultant as you put in. Having Rachel as a partner throughout the application process was truly an advantage in every way, as she put her all into the entire process from considering schools to interviewing.

Rachel Beck 10/10

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

My journey with Rachel started in September. Coming from an extremely untraditional background and looking to pivot, I knew that choosing the right admissions consultant would be pivotal to my chances of acceptance. After our complementary 30-minute consultation, I knew Rachel would be the right choice for my needs.

Throughout my journey, Rachel worked diligently with me to really hone in on a cohesive story that would position me in the best way possible for acceptance. I struggled with the GMAT and her suggestion to take the Executive Assessment was a real game changer. Rachel swiftly answered any concern or question I had regarding to the process, and she acted as a much-needed sanity check during this stressful time.

Rachel was prompt with her edits and I found her insights and suggestions to be extremely valuable to my final application. Additionally, I especially appreciated the multiple calls we had throughout the process. Rachel's feedback was honest and logical, and her sincere advice was invaluable to me during the process. Our mock interview was very helpful and I felt well prepared going into the real thing.

Working with Rachel, I didn't feel like just another client. We shared a genuine connection and I had the utmost support from her during the process. When I got the admissions call, Rachel was equally as ecstatic when I shared the news. Overall, I would recommend Rachel to anyone seeking an MBA consultant; her professional demeanor, deep knowledge of the MBA admissions process, and honesty are just a few of the attributes she possesses that make her an extraordinary consultant!

Rachel - The Best!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I applied last April when most schools extended application deadlines thanks to the pandemic. Rachel was an incredible help to me promtly putting together a solid pitch from the ground up. We did all our communication over phone and it worked out perfectly.

1) I have an uncommon background with a CS degree. Rather than jumping right into writing essay, Rachel invested upfront a significant amount of time learning my stories beyond what is listed on my resume.
2) Rachel was very responsive and honest with her feedback. Typically, I would have my piece returned within 2 business days with detailed comments and suggestions. Rachel's journalism background really differentiates herself from peers when it comes to storytelling!
3) Rachel provided a lot of tips and more importantly calmed my nerves during interview preps. Very encouraging and supportive throughout the entire process.
4) Rachel took a genuine interest in my success and I see Rachel more as a partner rather than a consultant.

Highly recommend!

Amazing partner!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

To sum it up:
Rachel is very kind, peaceful, and patient. Yet, she is very honest, straightforward, and blunt. Basically, she is the perfect person to advice you.

The longer version:
Meeting Rachel made my application experience much smoother and thanks to her I got into my dream Ivy League school. The highlights of my admission process with Rachel:
1. Already over our first phone call, Rachel provided me with a lot of valuable information and a strategic plan.
2. Rachel assisted me with some unique insights based on her legendary experience - not only as a consultant but also as a journalist
3. The most amazing part - Rachel did give me the space for being myself and I feel like she assisted me with delivering who I am to the admission committee in the best way possible.
4. Very importantly - the communication with Rachel was FANTASTIC. For me, this was a key for succeeding in the admission process.
5. Rachel is not a salesperson or money-oriented. It is very easy to feel that her intentions are pure and that the applicant's best interest is in front of her eyes the whole time.

Highly highly recommended. If you want to maximize your chances to get into your dream school - do yourself a favor and partner with Rachel.

Rachel Beck is the reason I got into my target school!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I’m sitting at my dream MBA school thanks to Rachel! Trying to get into a top MBA program is daunting! For someone that had never really gone through such an application process before, I didn’t even know where to begin.

I was worried about spending so much money on a consultant, but after working with Rachel on a 5 school program I can tell you that it was worth every penny. There was so much I didn’t know about applying to top MBA program, and having Rachel there to guide me through the process was a lifesaver. From many essay rewrites, to the multiple short answer questions, resume creation and interview preparation - Rachel was there to help me through it all. She did an amazing job on helping ensure my essays had the perfect “flow,” and hit all the key buzz words and topics the admissions committees would be looking for. Rachel was just as invested in this application process as I was and went above and beyond to help me out, especially throughout everything that went on with COVID.

From our kickoff call to starting at my MBA program, I worked with Rachel for a year and the entire process was fantastic. I can honestly say I probably wouldn’t be in the MBA program I am without Rachel’s guidance. When I was choosing a MBA consultant I was worried about making such a big financial commitment, but believe me hiring Rachel is definitely worth it!

Rachel Beck is the Best (10/10)!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

Rachel Beck was an incredible help to me throughout my application process!

I have an unconventional work background and a humanities degree from undergrad. In a few screening calls with application advisors, I had a couple folks tell me I should get some conventional work experience before applying to business school. Rachel was the only one who truly believed I'd be a good fit for business school based on my experience to date. She then helped me articulate an authentic and compelling story for my application.

It goes without saying but Rachel was extremely responsive and prompt with her feedback. She has an eye both from the nitty gritty grammar but also high-level messaging and tips and tricks unique to each school-- knowledge that can only come from someone with as much experience as Rachel.

I was also working on my applications while backpacking through Asia in some very remote locations. Rachel was super accommodating to my time zone difference and internet connectivity issue.

Overall Rachel felt like a true partner in my application process. It felt like she was as invested as I was in the outcome of the process-- often times pushing me through multiple rounds of revisions to refine my narrative.

Safe to say I wouldn't have had the success I had in my applications without Rachel's help.

Highly Recommend Rachel Beck- mbaMission

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

Rachel came highly recommended from a very close personal source, my older brother, and after our first 30 minute phone call I knew exactly why.

My timeline was a bit rushed, but with Rachel there was never any doubt. We first connected in January of 2020 as I began toying with the idea of applying to MBA programs, but as my career kept progressing it became increasingly difficult to make the move.

After seeing that my dream school Columbia had extended R3 deadlines due to COVID, in mid-April I reached back out to Rachel to get her POV on my chances during this uncertain time. Her confidence and eagerness to help me craft my application gave me the push I needed to pursue my MBA dreams, and I am SO glad I did!

In less than 2 months time, Rachel helped me string together a top notch application, as I simultaenously completed standardize testing. Opting for the "School Package," Rachel was there to help with even the smallest of details, constantly reassuring me that "there are no stupid questions." She kept things moving and was quick to get back to me, adding value every step of the way. Her tremendous writing and storytelling skills helped me craft a purposeful application that felt cohesive, yet made each section work very hard to convey something unique about me as an applicant, ultimately helping me get into CBS!

I am so grateful for Rachel and couldn't have imagined going through the application process without her.
