This was the best step I took towards my preparation for the GMAT. The live prep addition really adds so much value to the course at the fraction of the cost of what other market players charge for similar content. It includes content from really basic to the most advanced organized per three different levels.

There are so many extras that will suprise you once you buy the course..for example solutions to OG Verbal etc.. I really loved the way instructors were able to understand the thought processes of the students based on the answers chosen in the polls and guide students in the right direction. These approaches work in tandem to cement concepts and give plenty of realistic practice. Just go for it!

I have been using E-Gmat Verbal Live prep for three months now. It offers clear cut views on various different concepts required to master verbal section of GMAT.

The concepts are clearly detailed and easily understandable especially for non native speakers. My GMAT mock scores had improved since I started attending E-Gmat live prep courses. I had read a couple of Verbal books for GMAT like MGMAT and Veritas, however EGmat live prep offers the best understanding of concepts with no ambiguity. And the instructor is always helpful and clears concepts which may seem odd to the student. I am preparing to take my GMAT exam on July 25 and I am hopeful of making good inroads in verbal section in my first ever GMAT exam.

I gave my GMAT an year back and scored a decent 750 (Q50, V41). This course helped me improve from V32 to V41. I had read multiple books (Kaplan and MGMAT series) but could not push my mock scores beyond V32 - 60 percentile, clearly not acceptable. Desperate for improvement I looked for help. I found two companies that fit my budget – GMATPill and e-GMAT. After asking people around, I went for e-GMAT (thanks to Vinnik for recommendation). They teach SC using logic, something that came very intuitively to me. I knew most of the rules but was not aware of the logic behind those. Once you understand those, applying them became a lot easier. This helped me improve. SC became fun.

In CR, the Prethinking approach helped a lot in improving accuracy for more difficult questions.

Overall, the course gave me much more structured approach towards my prep. Overall, the course provided me with a lot more clarity. Check it out if you need help on Verbal.

Much easier and more effective than reading a book, I would recommend this course to those looking for serious improvement on verbal.

"I am a non English native speaker and preparing GMAT. I came across this course through beat the GMAT and GMAT club. I was having issues in SC and this course has helped me to organise my thoughts and select the correct answers quickly.

The team has designed this course in very simple manner which allowed me to learn quickly and apply easily. I feel the best feature of this course is the diagrammatic representations which helped me to retain the material and recall it easily. Another important feature is that it is divided into three parts (level 1, level2, and level2) with the content getting more detailed in each subsequent level.. The step by step progression increases confidence level . At the end of every section you have a diagnostic test which allows self assessment.

e-GMAT Verbal live Prep is one of the most comprehensive verbal courses I have come across. I gave GMAT twice, the first time I used MGMAT SC books and Knewton course and scored 660. The sentence correction shocked me.

Once I started with the e-GMAT course I realized how much I did not know in Sentence correction even after having gone through MGMAT SC twice. It also covered way more material than the Knewton course. Also e-GMAT has a very strong emphasis on meaning and meaning change which is very useful in the real exam.

Similarly their RC course is a game changer. They have dedicated concepts on how to read a passage efficiently and respond to the answer choices. My RC accuracy improved to 80% after this course even for difficult passages. Previously, I got only 60% of the questions correct.

Their live sessions were a lot more intense than the Knewton live sessions. They covered more material and had more in-depth discussions. I would attribute 7-8 point improvement to this course. (You can see my debrief for more details)

I found some excellent reviews of e-gmat - the company I've never heard of. It specializes in SC and CR for not native speakers. The courses is just about 50$ each. So, I've decided to make a final attempt and try e-gmat.

I was really surprised to find A LOT OF new material about SC even after I've read SC MGMAT at least 3 times and thought that I knew everything about grammar. E-gmat was really helpful. They explain in detail not just rules but exact rules that are tested on GMAT and give very precise and comprehensive explanation of every question of OG 12. After the course I didn't have any questions that I could not understand in SC. I want to thank e-gmat for such a brilliant materials and especially the way they are presented.

On the day of exam I was relaxed and didn't hope to see any improvement. I have decided that this will be the last time I take exam, no matter what. How surprised I was to see 680 (q45 v38!!!). I think that the improvement in verbal part was possible only because of excellent materials of e-gmat. Unfortunately, I was not able to repeat my best score in quant - 47, that could give me 700 with 38 in verbal part, but I'm happy anyway.

I want to thank GMATCLUB for excellent website and math tests and e-gmat for their SC materials.
