Hi All,

I have taken egmat course and I found it very good for the preparation of GMAT.
It has started explaining the verbal from very basic and after explaining every grammar
rules, there are quizzes of GMAT level. egmat has covered each and every topics of
verbal and has explained in such a way that anyone can understand it and remember it.

I was weak in Verbal ,however after taking the course I am confident about my verbal now.
Before taking egmat course ,I was confused between egmat and Crackverbal, however I am
very happy now that I opted for e-GMAT course. This is the best course for GMAT.

e-GMAT has made my verbal strong.
Thank you very much e-GMAT :)

I have planned to give GMAT on November 2014, this confident is because of e-GMAT course :)

Thanks,
Shreya

I joined this course because it guaranteed a quant score up to Q50. I was scoring Q46-48 before I took this course. So thought of giving it a try to see I could better my quant score further. I must admit that, this course has been the best guidance that I could have ever got to achieve Q49 and better. I took 3 mock tests in past few days and I have scored Q48(Veritas Prep),Q50(Kaplan) and Q51(Kaplan) respectively.

e-gmat quant course focused on different approaches to solve a problem, will help one in thinking smart rather than just asking to mug up a list of formulas and strategies. After attending NP1 and NPII live sessions I understood how rusty my number properties concepts were but with their clear and detailed explanations I was able to understand the Hard DS questions easily. I will rate the course 9/10. Hope to see a lesson on DS concepts :)

Thanks Team e-GMAT for all your efforts.

I have been on and off GMAT prep for the last one year , starting and stopping in between and then picking up where I left . I agree not the best way to prep , however my go to resource for verbal prep has always been e-gmat's resource . I started off with a humble v36 and no matter how hard I tried my score never moved upwards.I might have slipped a couple of times my lowest being V34. I was about to throw the towel in , but luckily for me I came across e-gmat. Thanks to GMATclub in my yore days I used to lurk here to get the best strategy and plan my moves accordingly.

After prepping with e-gmat for a month my score moved upwards to the region of 38 first time in prep history. I knew at that instant that this will work for me.

I am a good V40 now and look forward to move it up a few notches in the next few months before the D-day.
Pros
+ Structured course content
+ Several exercise - I love the before and after exercises as they show a clear improvement after going through the course matter
+Best explanation on OG verbal questions there is!
+Clears the fundamentals concepts and so speed always follows.
+ Interactive / engaging course content , does not put you off as a normal printed matter would.
+scope of one on one discussion with the actual course developers .
Cons
+ Fairly new company

Hello,

I have been a e-GMAT customer for few months now. And enrolled in verbal live prep. By doing this course I could see the difference between my earlier understanding of the concepts and current understanding of the concepts . I am based at Hyderabad, India. And i did a local GMAT coaching here before I joined e-GMAT, believe me the way e-GMAT explained various verbal concepts it was much better than local coaching. For all my fellow Indian friends,I would urge e-GMAT is way better than any local coaching in India. This is I am saying by my experience. And even course fee is very competitive as well . In the end , I would say thanks a lot to whole e-GMAT team. Great course.. Great people.. Keep it coming.. Thanks Manoj

The e-GMAT verbal live prep course exceeded my expectations. Course (including study plan) is very well laid out. Concept files include detailed explanation of every topic with examples. With all the application files, you can practice the process learned in concept files. Live sessions are very engaging and helpful. Also the recordings available allowed me to take the course within my schedule. My favorite part is the workshop, which not only helped me focus on my weaknesses but also gave me a strategy to improve. And no doubt the staff is very helpful and active in replying to the queries. I highly recommend anyone taking the GMAT to take e-GMAT Verbal Live prep course.

It was the final quarter of last year when I seriously considered pursuing an MBA and, as a first step, I started preparing for the GMAT. I got help from the well-known GMAT books. However, within a few days, I understood that I needed some external help, especially in the verbal section, to perform well on this test. I came to know about e-GMAT courses while browsing through the net and I started with its free sessions. These sessions were so well crafted that they impressed me a lot and I decided to register myself in its paid courses. As per e-GMAT's instructions, I began with its Sentence Correction section - a module which is so well designed that if someone sincerely studies the Articles, Concept Files and Pratice quizzes in it, as well as follows the study plan supplied by e-GMAT, he/she is bound to do well on the GMAT SC section. The knowledge of SC helps immensely in the other sections - Criticl Reasoning and Reading Comprehension - as well because one can easily understand the argument structure in CR and complex passages in RC, using the basic Sentence Structure lessons learnt in the SC course. Very recently I have upgraded my course to Verbal Live, where the e-GMAT instructors take live sessions and clarify most of the doubts during or after these sessions. e-GMAT's internal forum is another place where e-GMAT students are allowed to post their questions/queries which are promptly answered by the instructors. Though English is not my mother-tongue, I started learning English from childhood as a part of my regular curriculum. Even after that when I started GMAT preparation, I realized that knowing the English language very well doesn't guarantee a good score on GMAT. One needs to know the things that are frequently tested on GMAT and accordingly prepare strategically for doing well in this test. This is where I found e-GMAT really helpful, even to the native speakers, as it actually guides its students on the tactics and strategies of this time-bound test.

I wrote the GMAT on 16th of July and scored a 640 QA 48 V30.

I decided to focus on VA completely. After going through a lot of good reviews, I joined the e-GMAT verbal live prep course with their 4 point improvement guarantee.

The e-GMAT adopts unique strategies to approach SC,CR and RC type questions. My rating of their courses will be SC=CR>RC

The SC course is awesome. The number of questions which can be solved correctly by understanding the meaning of the sentence is inspiring. MEANING+IDENTIFY ERRORS+ELIMINATION is the forte of the SC course.

Same goes with CR. Pre-thinking is another concept which has helped me improve in CR .The course emphasizes the importance of understanding the logical structure and how the conclusion is reached upon and then prethinking before going to the answer choices. This saves a lot of time indeed.

I haven't gone through the RC course completely but it is in similar lines to RC - ie understanding of passage/authors tone/paragraph summary before going to questions.

I have been able to drastically improve my SC scores in mocks after going through the course.

SC skills are helpful in CR and RC and hence overall VA score improvement.

The live sessions are also very comprehensive and analytical.

I would like to recommend the course to anyone who is not able to improve his score in VA from 27-30 to 34-36 or even more.

I will take my GMAT in the next 1-2 months and am hoping to apply the techniques I learned in here...!

I’m writing this review to thank the e-gmat team for their great effort. Everyone makes our lives easy to get top score in verbal section. In the same way, I like to share my experience that may help students to shorten when studying GMAT verbal.

I enrolled in Egypt in a classroom course that was disappointing. I rarely understand the CR or solve SC correctly. Through studying each gmat course in gmat club, I found e-gmat content which I was rich. I decide to go for “verbal life prep” to get more life practice and answer my question. There was a good deal for $299 for 6 months. As soon as I registered, I was provided with password to access the website. The program comes with mock tests.

E-gmat organizes the study through plans and calendar for live sessions. IF you miss one, you do not need to panic because you can listen to the recording or simple attend next month.

For sentence correction experience
• Follow e-gmat process. This helped me to understand some of my errors.
• Stick to the level and do not jump.
• Always study the concept even you feel that you know it.
• Review the concept files clearly.
• Solve application files.
• Solve OG13 sentences. I can mark progress
• Attend live sessions especially, parallelism & modifiers.
• There are extra trainings in UG section.

For Critical reasoning experience
• Focus on the “Conclusion and premises” 3 concepts files.
• Study each concept file and its application and dissect
the examples to know how to solve it.
• Give yourself time and do not be rush.
• Pre-thinking is crucial to CR process.

For Reading comprehension experience
• it is easy. I had good experience from my TOEFL exam

All what I need to say is that you need to start engaging with strong source rather than get trapped in other sources that won’t help you.

I gave my GMAT first attempt on 3/12/13 and got a disappointing score of 500(47Q,13V).

With that score I understood that I needed to work on Verbal. I went through all the forums and GMAT club reviews to find out the best online coaching for verbal.
After going through all the reviews I found out that e-GMAT was the best course. I went through free trails and realized that it was the best for me.

I went through all the sessions post assessment quizzes and attended workshops. I am happy to say that now I am at V32 level. e-GMAT helped to reach 32 from a very low score of 13.

Online tutorials, workshops, and the course's detailed explanations are very helpful.

I am thankful to entire e-GMAT team.

Hello,

I enrolled in the e-gmat verbal live prep 5 months back. I was on and off preparing for the GMAT using e-gmat and for the little time I spent, I have completed 80% of the sentence correction. I see a lot of improvement in sentence correction itself by using the e-gmat method of looking for the meaning first. Before taking this course I would directly jump on to the answers after reviewing the question for a while but now I am spending much more time analyzing the sentence. This is helping me to improve the accuracy as well as timing. I hope and wish that this will translate on to the test day, which I think will because of my improved confidence levels.

I wish I can improve the same way in both CR and RC after going through these practice session. I suggest the non-native speakers take this course considering the methodology and the emphasis e-gmat gives on the approach and basics of each concept.

I wish everyone the very best
