Hi Everyone,
First my background:
I am an indian male with not IT background. As all Non native speakers, i lack skills in Verbal, and there fore it became necessary for me to make up majority of my score by boosting the Quant score.
Prep details:
I went though all the OG questions which one cannot compete in quality and as recommended by most Manhattan Quant guides but i still find my confidence lacking to reach the Q 50/51 highs.

Going though various reviews and bringing my over confidence down i decided to go through a structured course which will boost my confidence to achieve the 49-51 range.

I came across e-gmat quant course after reading various positive reviews on different GMAT Prep forums. First of all i was amazed to see the structure of the course which was very handy and easy to go through. You learn concepts then apply quizzes and later Application test and final ability quizzes. You get no reason in egmat course to not master in every single topic tested in the GMAT.
The live sessions with Rajat, Payal and Krishna were not less than an eye opener. i love the new techniques they taught like : analyzing and breaking down the DS question prior to reaching the options, number properties questions were never so easy to solve with the e-gmat techniques and algebra which has always been a night mare for me, I learnt the importance of bringing all the expressions in the left side of the inequality before breaking them down. This has left me stunned because i never messed up with the +_ signs after applying e-gmat principles in algebra. Also the graphical representation of the equations to solve for x is something i never knew.
I have improved already from Q46 to Q49 in my last GMAT exam and now i am preparing again to score Q50-51 in my next attempt.

This time i am focusing on the Quant scholaranium . This is the Custom test platform by egmat where one can select questions of different topics, different difficulty levels and adjust timings. As a result you also get detailed analysis of the timing and your performance and obviously the question explanations. A question bank of 700+ all level and topic questions is grooming my prep further and finally i feel that i can achieve my target score of Q50-51.

I would definitely recommend this course to all GMAT aspirants .

I am taking verbal live prep course of e-gmat. The like the way the study material has been made, especially the interactive concept learning video which is very unique to e-gmat. The study material for all the concepts of SC, CR & RC have their unique way of attempting through several steps. While taking e-gmat verbal live prep package, we also have access to IR concept which no other companies available in market offer.
The scholarium, gmat question bank, helps a lot to cement the concept during application and the solution. With the subscription of verbal live prep you will also get access to quant questions which is sufficient for a person like me (engineering background) to learn and practise quant section.
I will advice the future gmat takers to at-least try e-gmat free lesson and further make their own decision. I also did the same way.

Regards
Deepak

Hello future leaders of the world, I am Shekhar working for the past 6 years and planning to retake my GMAT (earlier score was a mere 640). Like every re-taker - I did my homework well and found out about E-gmat and it's tech based GMAT prep offering. What really works for the product are - 1. Basic structure of the content 2. Detailed analysis 3. You can study anytime. 4. Support - expect a reply within 24-36 hours.

What may not be working
While, the course is good but you really need to push yourself when your cards are down. I have had so many incidents when I skipped my routine as no one is really policing me. Such indiscipline can easily turn skipping one day to many days.

Also, it advertises that you can learn SC in 10 days - it most probably is true for super bright students. It took me 20-25 days easily.

So If you are determined to give GMAT and are fed up of sub par GMAT tutors - E-GMAT could be your night in shining armor. I'll keep you posted about my score here.

Thanks,
Shekhar

Being a non-native, preparation in verbal course was necessary and need of the hour. My friend introduced me to e-GMAT and I cannot thank him enough for having done that. The videos provided by e-GMAT are full of adequate content and provide good practice questions. This course has helped me brush up my concepts very well

EGMAT videos are very detailed, they teach me everything from the basics and hand hold me to apply what i have learned to the verbal questions. The scholarium questions are very useful, i am able to customise my own set of questions and drills on areas that i am weak at. The questions also come with very detailed explanations.
The method of teaching is very good as it first test you on your current knowledge about the concept and then tell you about the concept and ten again test you for the same which help solidifying the concept a great deal. the review option of the attempted question help you to keep logs of the error you have committed.

so over all it is a good course for the people who all are looking for Verbal course but it totally depend upon the person to person to find the course fit for him so do analyse before buying any course .

The verbal live sessions really worth it. The sessions are very well prepared and designed to go deep into core aspects such as pre-thinking or the 3 process step for SC questions
- The strategy sessions tough you how to improve your score and gives you understanding on key things to keep in mind, like takt time

Overall the resource is awesome!!

thanks

In my 1st attempt I had scored a Q49, and in 2nd attempt Q47. The time lag between 1st and 2nd attempt was very long. Moreover, I didn't focus much on quant. But during my 3rd attempt, in which I scored Q50, I focused a lot on the e-gmat Quant course. The concept files have some very good fundamentals, which I lacked a lot.
The live sessions have very focused set of questions. They specifically test the required areas. Initially I took 3-4 minutes to solve a question of live session. As I focused more on the fundamentals, my accuracy and my pace increased to the optimum level.
The Scholaranium platform of e-gmat has even better questions. At Very Hard level the questions really get very competitive. The skill data set of the Scholaranium provides good graphic displays that allow students to track their performance. That approach worked very good for me. Every green mark in the skill data set was a hurray, and every red mark was an alert to focus more on that section.
Going step by step with the course should help students to score desired score in quant section.

I stumbled upon the e-GMAT course in Sep'15. Being a non-native myself, I was intrigued by how a GMAT course could be designed to cater to the non-native speaker . I then proceeded to watch a webinar conducted by Rajat which was simple in tone yet insightful. There I knew I'd found what I’d been looking for .
I immediately enrolled in their flagship Verbal Live Prep course, needless to say, I was enamored with the course architecture and fascinated with the ease with which I could navigate the course platform. Each section is broken up by concept into sub-modules, each containing a mixture of quizzes and video lessons; all this in addition to the live webinars conducted by the e-GMAT faculty. The course content is lucid, exhaustive and is designed to enhance the conceptual understanding required to tackle GMAT questions. The faculty at e-GMAT is experienced and incredibly adept at explaining concepts and necessary to have a solid foundation- a firm grasp of the building blocks sets the tone for your progress over the duration of the course, and most notably your ability to solve the tougher (read ‘700-level’) problems on the GMAT.

Prior to starting the course I’d thought that CR was a beast that couldn’t be tamed, but as I watched along through the CR video lessons and attended live sessions conducted by Krishna Chaitanya I realized how easy to understand CR really was. e-GMAT deserves extra plaudits for coming up with the ‘Pre-thinking’ strategy for solving CR problems. It helped me answer CR questions, which I once absolutely dreaded, with new-found confidence and, dare I say it, like the section altogether.
I’d like to conclude my de-brief by saying a word about the fantastic quizzing platform that is e-GMAT’s ‘Scholaranium’. It’s a tool that I absolutely lived by during my preparation for the GMAT. It’s essentially a compendium of quizzes and statistical data indicating your areas of strength and weakness. It’s a treasure trove that’d better enable you to work on you weaknesses than would otherwise be possible and strategize your preparation for reaching your dream score. I’d totally recommend e-GMAT to someone who’s planning to take the GMAT.

I was disappointed after my first attempt in GMAT. After researching a lot of options - i finally trusted e-GMAT with my preparation needs. My decision was based on a number of positive reviews of the course and the free demo sessions offered by e-GMAT. I had no clue how to approach SC, I was poor in RC and i was just average in CR. e-GMAT course taught me a systematic way to focus on the meaning aspect of things and also the pre-thinking part. These 2 little tricks went a long way and were very helpful in the process. Scholarium was of great help to assess the performance. Krishna and all the other faculties were superb and the live sessions were very helpful. Last but not the least - i still feel i could have crossed the 40 mark with a little more focus (that is the type of confidence e-GMAT gives you!). The live class curriculum also 'forced' me to be on schedule ;). I'll also write a more detailed review on my preparation effort(watch out for that ;)) but i just want to let all of you know that crossing the 700 barrier would have been difficult without the e-GMAT curriculum, Thank you e-GMAT!!

This course is hands down the best quant prep course out there. It has a mix of types of learning which include pre-lesson work to get an idea of where you stand with the understanding of the material, the lesson itself to go through the concepts and then a post-lesson quiz to test how well you were able to grasp the content.

Additionally, there are live instructor led lessons every weekend which cover a topic in detail going through examples, common mistakes and how the GMAT tests these concepts. I found these to be especially useful as most of those sessions had 6-10 people max and so I was able to get dedicated attention and have all my doubts and questions answered.

e-GMAT Verbal Live Prep course has been really helpful to me for my GMAT exam preparations. When I started my preparations for the exam, I was confident and also familiar with the exam format but, I was unable to get decent score in the tests. Upon much analysis, I realized there was a need to build upon basic concepts of Verbal. Verbal Live Prep course concept files are very precise and there is an attention to detail. The application files further builds up on the process of leveraging the concepts and applying them successfully. Live sessions helps in understanding and devising the correct approach to solve questions. The course in itself is a complete package for GMAT verbal preparations.
