Cannot speak highly enough about Fortuna! Throughout my application process, Julie was supportive and provided excellent guidance. She helped me refine my "story" and weave it throughout each of my applications in a way that would appeal to each school. She is very knowledgeable, dedicated, and keeps things fun! I would strongly recommend Julie to anyone looking to apply to top-tier schools.

One of my favorite aspects of working with Fortuna was the mock Wharton interview. I was fortunate to do two mock group interviews before my real one, giving me the confidence I needed.

Thank you, Julie, for all of your help!

I am so excited to write a review for Julie, who diligently worked towards strengthening my applications and preparing me for interviews. I particularly appreciated her candid approach to helping me understand the strengths and weaknesses of my profile, from the perspective of the admissions committee. Through multiple reviews and feedback, she encouraged me to go deep within myself and come up with the most impactful work/life experiences I have had, thus making my application stand out. Her mock interviews and subsequent feedback, ensured that I took my best and authentic self to the actual interviews and converted both my interview calls into admits - Kellogg and Cornell. I highly recommend Julie and Fortuna Admissions to serious aspirants for top Business schools.

Julie assisted me in preparing my applications to the Booth and Wharton - Lauder MBA programs. This is my first time applying and I only apply to a selected few M7 schools, hence I was quite stressed out during the process. Julie provided me with candid feedback on my strengths and weaknesses as an applicant and clear strategies to tailor my applications to the schools, gave me specific suggestions on how to draft cohesive storylines, and always pushed me to sharpen my messages. Thanks to Julie's assistance, and some luck of course, I have been admitted into both programs. I am excited to start a new chapter of my life!

Started off well, but did have some confusion

Fortuna is a relatively new name to the admission consulting scene. Its selling point of having a team of former admission directors on board was what got me signed up for their services.

I started off with an introductory phone call with Matt, the founder. Matt was very knowledgeable on all the top business schools, describing the characteristics of each school's admission process relative to their traditions and geographic locations.

Fortuna assigned both a senior coach and coach to assist with the application process. Overall, both coaches did a great job in helping me to map out my ideas and tailor my essays and applications. In terms of interview preparation, Julie also gave great advice on articulating my story and answers.

However, the idea of having 2 coaches at once would sometimes lead to confusion and seemingly miscommunication among the 3 of us. Therefore, it would be better if there were a clear division of responsibility and communication from the get-go.

Nonetheless, I believe being able to see through the lenses of former admission directors is what make Fortuna unique, and I would definitely recommend them.

Thanks to Fortuna I got into INSEAD, my top-choice

I chose Fortuna because of their deep knowledge of the admission process. Besides, as a European applicant, I felt they had a strong edge on other admission consultants in being truly international, rather than focusing on the US.

At the beginning of the process, Fortuna helped me to build the confidence that I could aim to top MBA programmes, and to clearly assess the strengths of my profile to emphasise in my application.

Coming from a non-traditional background with multiple jobs, Fortuna guidance was extremely useful in selecting the right stories and addressing my weak points effectively. My essays improved significantly through multiple revisions, and having Caroline, Insead former Admission Director, to give a final evaluation before hitting ‘submit’ felt very reassuring!

Finally, the mock-interview before the real one really helped in knowing what to expect, and how to be ready for that last crucial step.

With all the time and effort I spent on my MBA application, I am glad with my decision of engaging Fortuna in helping me achieving such a great result!
