I worked with Shailesh Sir in 2016 and took an 11 schools package with Interview Prep.

Pros:-
1. Overall the process was enjoyable. It was stress-free. Shailesh sir is an inspiring person and it was always fun to interact with him. (Sometimes over 1 hour long calls)

2. He was very straightforward in setting the expectation and candid about his thoughts on my candidacy. That was something I appreciated a lot. No sugar-coating

3. He has worked with a lot of students and that experience comes handy


Cons:
1. Approach - I applied to all 11 colleges in Round 1 itself. While I was in agreement with the approach back then but now when I think about it I realise that 11 schools in 1 round were too much. This shouldn't have been promoted.

2. School Selection - I was very keen to restrict my schools to the top 12 schools in the USA. However, the school recommended by Expert's were still top 25. Although the final decision lied with me, based on their recommendation I applied to schools in top 20, albeit reluctantly. The final result was that even though I cracked Tepper and UNC, I didn't join because that was not what I wanted.

3. Approachability - Don't get me wrong, Shailesh Sir is a very nice person. However, to reach him I had to send a mail and book an appointment sometimes 2-3 days in advance. Although this is an industry norm, I didn't like it. I feel the person should be more approachable.

Overall, It was a good experience for me and was full of learnings. Experts' Global is a good place to be especially considering that it's pocket-friendly (somewhat). There were a few hiccups but then it was a good learning experience.

I recently completed my GMAT and managed to scale a score of 710 (Q49 V38) in the actual GMAT from my initial score of 630.

I had spent the entire month before my actual exam taking only mock Gmat exams. I have taken all the free tests available on the internet to date and also had brought few paid test packs from Manhattan prep, Veritas prep, Experts Global and GMAC practice tests.

Of all the test packages available, I found that the one which stood out amongst the others but not widely known to all aspiring students is the test pack from Experts global.

The mock tests my Experts Global had a serious role in my 80 points improvement. Here are the main points that I would like to highlight:

15 Full length tests (Probably the highest number of tests by any company)
You get a Full set of 15 full length tests inclusive of AWA and IR. Most other packages are only for a meager 5 tests max. 15 tests with the feel of real GMAT were great help in making me get used to the testing environment and helped me get my timing strategies right.

Fair closeness with the real GMAT
Although Veritas Prep and Manhattan prep have been around for years now, the closeness to the actual GMAT questions (in my personal opinion) is very much lacking in these packages. I would say that both test packages were way too difficult than the actual GMAT. It was really surprising to see that the test package from Experts Global, something I chose out of serendipity, was really close to the actual GMAT. I would say that in terms of Question selection they have done a good job of emulating the actual GMAT level questions and despite 15 tests, I did not find the questions or concepts repeating- something that was my fear when I first opted for this test series.

Instant Video solutions to all questions!!! It was the only pack which gives full Video explanations of the questions for better understandings and faster shortcuts. There is immediate clarification to understand where you have gone wrong. I also recommend you to go through the video solutions for questions you have answered right as you may discover faster shortcuts to these questions

A reliable scoring algorithm
Their scoring algorithm gives you a close estimate of the actual GMAT score. The average score from my last 7 tests from the test package gave a clear indication of my GMAT range. My final score in each section as well as overall test was almost accurately the arithmetic mean of my performance in test#13-15, the final three tests of Experts Global.

Detailed analysis- diagnosis of weak areas
The software gets better with more usage. In built analytics shows your weak areas to help work with them.
Separate Dashboards show Topics that need improvement, Time spent on various difficulty levels and a graph that shows your progress. A few seconds of inspection gives you clear idea about what you should work on before taking your next test

Experts Global helped me a lot during my business school search; particularly helped me focus on my GMAT and application process. I was a busy working professional and had limited time only available during the weekend and the evenings during the weekday. The first things Experts did was to understand my motivation, strengths and challenges, even before we were to start working on my preparation plan. I recall meeting the team a few times before I started on my study plan. The planning helped me gain clarity on how I could go about my journey.

Phase 1 Helping you start your GMAT Prep: At the early stages, Experts helped me understand the exam format, breakup of each section and eventually put me through a GMAT diagnostics test. After the test, they helped me identify my areas of strengths and areas of improvement. Looking at my goals and the amount of time I could commit, they created a week by week plan. I particularly liked that strategy. The whole process of taking such a huge endeavor can be overwhelming and Experts helped me break down those goals into much smaller milestone which I could handle on a week on week basis.

Tip: If you are a working professional, one of your biggest constraints might be managing time. Experts team is good at helping you figure out your exam prep workload depending on your schedule with a 1-1 tailored plan. If the initial plan does not work, they help you tailor it up or down to get you going.

Phase 2 Building your momentum: Once I settled into a routine, Experts helped me with classroom sessions and study material from various credible sources to help me build deeper understanding of quant, logic, DI, verbal and overall time management.

Tip: Experts helped me keep track of my error logs, which I think was the biggest help I got from them. I could now see patterns or areas where I had to improve. The "error log" is a MUST have tool which I heavily recommend everyone to maintain. Often, I used to spend time just focusing on errors, which really helped me a lot.

Phase 3 Exam simulations: Once I reached a stage of comfort, Experts helped me focus on full length tests, which were timed just like an actual GMAT. These tests were again from a great pool of sources and allowed me to develop the skills needed to manage test anxiety, time and pressure. After each test, I spent time analyzing the results and especially compared that with my error logs. This was helpful in the last few months leading up to my exam date.

Exam: I spoke to Experts before the exam and got last minute tips to excel and stay composed during the test day, this advice is different than the general advice because, by now you would have figured out your style of test taking. Again, accessibility of Experts was very helpful.

Application Process: Once done with the Exam, I worked with Experts on the application process, instead of jumping on school names or rankings. We went back to the drawing board to reconfirm if my goals had remained the same or had changed. Experts provided a questionnaire to understand my preferences, my professional and learning goals, my financial concerns and pretty much everything which needs to be covered to help a person make a judicious decision.

Overall:
Experts is an excellent resource for GMAT and Business School application process. I would highly recommend them, especially because of their strengths to focus on each applicant individually and be a right partner irrespective of how long it takes to accomplish the goal.
