I found the E-gmat verbal course to be extremely helpful.
I always found GMAT verbal to be tough especially the sentence correction section.
No matter how many times I learned the concepts I was never confident when it came to GMAT verbal

I would like to set the background, in terms of who I am so that some of you can better co-relate.
->I am serving a role of Technical Architect with a reputed MNC with more than 10yrs of experience.
->Born in a remote corner of India.
->Worked more than 8 yr across world in US, UAE, Europe.
->English is not my mother tongue.

So why i took e-GMAT Verbal Online,
Does these questions sounds familier to you...
1. I can solve question if given ample amount of time.
2. My answer is right but i don't know why is this right.
3. Why other options are wrong.
4. I need to be atleast Einstein to solve this question :-). This verbal question went right over the head.
5. I have all the responsiblities in the world need anytime/anywhere detail access.

I knew since beginning but got confirmation after my first attempt 640 (Q51,V26) that I need to find answer to above question before I can expect to see 700+ score.

That's when after research on gmatclub i enrolled into e-GMAT. Please note I am still preparing and will be taking next attempt shortly in few months.

4. Best thing i learned is for the questions where i can zero on between 2 options, I can see improvements in selecting the correct options.
5. I can't join classes since my time is not fixed due to job, so e-Gmat's e-platforms works best for me giving me access anywhere.

I am sure i'll be coming back shortly with more detailed review and with my final score. I'm not going to settle till i get the best of me. My first attempt score is not my reflection for sure.

EGMAT SC is really helpful,within 4 days, i was able to observe a drastic change in my way of approach to SC questions. As GMAT SC questions now deal with meaning issues, we have to get a clear idea on what the sentence conveys before approaching the problem and the e-gmat approach for solving SC problems does just this.
1. Understand the meaning of the sentence
2. Identify the errors in the original sentence
3. Eliminate answer choices
CR section has also excellent method of prethinking which improves drasticallyboth accuracy as well as timing

As a non-native (English wasn't even my second language in school), I had lot of difficulty with my SC and RC accuracy. I knew I needed help with verbal section and couldn't quite decide on one GMAT course. After reading tons of posts and reviews online, I shortlisted e-GMAT and GMAT Pill and finally signed up for e-GMAT verbal online course. I have not yet written the GMAT but about to write it in a month or two, I believe it is the only course which fits for non-native speaker, especially for SC, very detailed and covers everything that you need to ace the GMAT, especially the application files are very nice to build on the concept learned, because GMAT is all about application, you may know each concept well but may not score well without the proper application.

When I started preparing for the GMAT I thought SC will be my weakness; I have to focus on RC and CR to do better on the GMAT, but surprisingly after going through the SC course, it has become my strongest area now.

Furthermore I liked the pre-thinking concept in CR which gives you a framework to look for the correct answer, actually Pre-thinking immerses the conclusion in your mind so that you don’t forget the conclusion while choosing the correct answer.

My experience for Verbal Online course is super, and now I plan to upgrade the course to Verbal Live Prep which I believe would be a super way of application of the concept learned.

Like most of the engineers in India, I was not able to score well in Verbal section of GMAT. Verbal especially sentence correction was dreadful to me. I tried with MGMAT sentence correction book but was lost amidst the volume of sheer details. Then I have taken free trial provided by E-GMAT.I found that to score well you need not only to cement your concept well but also to learn to apply those concepts effectively within stipulated time provided by GMAT. EGMAT taught me how pre-thinking helps to enhance the accuracy and the speed. After few months working on the verbal online course offered by EGMAT, I am able to score better than I was doing prior to join this course. For verbal I can surely recommend EGMAT. I’ll suggest trying with the free courses they offer. How to tackle RC(Session by Shraddha),Concepts such as Total Productive time(Session by Rajat),How to tackle Bold-face Q(Session by Chiranjeevi)are covered in the free trials.
You need to have a well defined strategy to score at your optimum limit in the GMAT.With EGMAT,it looks possible to score at the best of your ability.

Most of GMAT aspirants like me are working professionals and thus have paucity of time. Therefore there is need to prepare smart and also hard. I have prepared for GMAT by myself initially and I must say it has been a very long process and an unsuccessful one. My score was 630 , a score which is way less than what I aimed for. Post this I took a break and I have now decided to answer GMAT again. However this time I wanted to enroll for an online course so I did a lot of online research. I read some great reviews on e-gmat and the first step was to register for a free verbal e-gmat seminar. I was completely sold after attending the verbal workshop.
