When I started my GMAT prep,i was doing fairly in quants but in verbal i was almost lost.I gave some mocks where i keep scoring 49 in QA bt 27-28 in verbal.I took egmat verbal course and within few weeks,i started understanding the intricacies of GMAT exams that i was missing.The egmat sentence correction module is best,then the RC and CR.When I took the final mock GMATs,I started scoring 37-38 in verbal section.However,my story was not like the happy ending one.On the D day,in the real GMAT i dont know what happened,I scored only 29 in verbal. I have been studying for GMAT for quite some time and have used various forums and books to study for my verbal preparation. I personally have improved leaps and bounds in SC after taking the e-gmat verbal online course. The usp of this course is the emphasis on understanding the meaning of the sentence before moving to the analysis of errors. I cannot emphasize more the improvement that I have been able to achieve after following the e-gmat 3 step process. Once you master the 3-step process you can not only improve on your accuracy but also improve your timing on SC. Before the course, for a 700+ SC I normally took around 2-3 mins with no confidence in terms of accuracy. Post the course its just been a cake walk, even for the most difficult SC. The e-gmat videos are really good. The funny thing is that while solving any SC I acutally hear Payals voice taking a pause at a relative pronoun to start a modifying clause or FANBOYS to start a new independent clause. Its funnny but it works for me.

As for CR I am impressed by the fact that there are certain issues which till date I was not completely sure of what they mean while solving CR problems. For eg: the difference between most, more, some, none and their logical negatives. I have always had tough time with evaluate question but the variance test taught by egmat has really made my life easy.

I have not yet given my GMAT but I am confident of verbal now. I am not expecting a V46-47 but even if I can manage a V40 its worth every penny.

I started GMAT preparation with Verbal Score 26 in Diagnostic Exam but now I consistently managed to score 35+ in Verbal(Mock Test) & latest score is 39 after I emphasized thoroughly learning of concepts in SC,RC & CR by E-GMAT

SC: The lessons are delivered in structured way & it is easy to grasp the underlying concepts. The approach is well balanced between understanding meaning of sentence & grammer rules which gives good confidence in marking the correct answer choice. My accuracy has improved considerably & I now know the logic behind why answer choice is correct. The practices questions are challenging & one can learn good number of tricks while solving these questions

CR: I wasn't sure whether pre-thinking makes difference while solving CR & continued with my old practice of answering CR questions.
