I had given my GMAT once in July, 2013, in which i scored 550/800. This score demotivated me so much that i gave up the whole idea of MBA and just focused on my job. However, after 2 years, i decided to give wings to my MBA dreams once again. So after doing several cost+reviews analysis, i signed up with e-GMAT.

e-GMAT is the indeed the best score for non natives. The course is beautifully structured, beginning with basic topics and gradually moving the advanced ones with lots of practice examples. Moreover, the audio+visual combination helps you to retain things for a longer time compared to plain books. The e-GMAT SC 3-step process not only helps you to learn about identifying errors and correcting them but also helps you to understand as to why a particular choice is right or wrong. The CR prethinking step is a very crucial step for your success on the CR section and e-GMAT helps you master this step perfectly. All in all, i would say that it is indeed a critical component for your GMAT preparation.

As of now, i have been consistently scoring 670-680 in my mock exams, which is 120 points well above my first GMAT attempt. My GMAT is scheduled on 13th August, and hopefully, i achieve my target score this time. I shall share my detailed GMAT experience once i am done with it.

Thank you & Good luck!

Egmat course improved my verbal score

Egmat verbal course is one of the most simplified and easy to understand Verbal courses out there. The Egmat Verbal courses provide a step-by-step understanding and the steps/strategies can be applied readily. I really liked the pre-thinking strategy, which increased my accuracy in CR and improved my timing drastically. I was struggling on SC initially as I tried to learn the grammar rules, but the major flaw with that strategy was that I couldn’t judge which grammar rule needed to be applied within a short span of time. The three step process in the SC helped me a lot to increase my accuracy. The course is amazing, though it is very, very extensive.

I started studying for the GMAT back in Jan 2012 and, in between, took it 8 times (basically once every 5 months). ---> And failed each time! I think I might be the only person out there that took so many prep courses but could still not succeed till 3 years later.
Despite these bad results, I have never stopped working as much as I can to reach my goal : Get 700+. Meanwhile, during my preparation I have enrolled to e-gmat online verbal courses, and I was able to substantially improve my skill on the SC part to reach an accuracy of 8/10 withing less than 100 sec in 2 months preparation. Nowadays, my focus is on CR and RC as I am very slow at reading and I will certainly need to boost my stamina as well.
Thanks to e-gmat team for they help and I hope I can get to a top score in the nearest future with the same support.

Fighting my monster.

I purchased e-gmat's Verbal Online after reading promo materials about how they were perfect for non natives. The first thing that turned me off was the quality of their site and study material delivery. Their lessons were good enough but the practice material was very inadequate (in number of questions, tracking, site navigation). Another problem that I found was that they relied on testing for all error types in each question in a certain order in each answer choice, which would require a huge time investment to get that method down to one - two minutes (which in itself was inefficient). I was hoping it would teach me to make solving verbal questions intuitive but all they stressed upon was a 'process' which is supposed to help you because you are a non-native. I feel e-gmat's verbal online is more beneficial for someone who has less experience in English (certainly not Indians who did their schooling in English) they can surely boost themselves to a level of 35 from say, 25.

I saw no score improvement in verbal score (from 36). One minor gripe that I had was the study material was presented in non standard graphical manner (no matching fonts, all very colourful), but that maybe because I am a designer and critical about these things.

Note: The free Edvento and 800score memberships were a huge bonus and somewhat made up for the lack of good resources.

Dear All,

I tried Gmat exam twice already. At that time, I just used official books to study and prepare for the exam. I couldn’t get a good score. I have realized that I definitely need some helps. After I decided to take online class, I did lots of research and then found eGMAT is the best one for me, a non-native student.
EGMAT Verbal Online Course is really a good resource! It explains three verbal sections (Sentence Correction, Critical Reasoning, Reading Compression) and Integrated Reasoning in a very useful way in its videos and relevant materials. Especially, the sentence correction part gives clear explanation of all the commonly tested topics on the GMAT. Some tricks and tips that can be used in GMAT exam are really useful.

After going through the course I started to feel comfortable in Verbal section. I am doing consistently well in my practice tests and I confident to get a satisfied score in my next attempt at the GMAT.

I would highly recommend eGMAT t to all, and good luck to everyone!

Hi guys,

Grammar was always my weakness, but I could solve that, at least in the GMAT. I would like to say that I am more than happy with e-GMAT Verbal Online. I had taken 21 / 26% in the Verbal section of the GMAT, after that I signed in the curse and concluded it, so I took 38 / 85%.

Consequently, I was admitted at the University of Texas class 2017!

I believe that the best thing of this course is its approach. They have a very analytical approach to teach grammar, which in my point of view, is easier to understand.

I think that if there is something that they could improve is the platform, it is a Flash based platform and, as far I am concerned, it is not supported on iPhone and iPads.

I gave my 1st Gmat around 10 months back and managed only getting 28 in verbal. In fact, I was getting around the same score in online test such as Manhattan, Princeton etc. Then on recommendation of a friend, I joined e-Gmat. The story has been completely different since then. The course content is very nicely made and easy to comprehend. Video files backed by audio explanations helps in better concentration, are easy to remember and less time consuming. I have started giving online tests recently & the score has reached on avg. 37. My score in all 3 sections have improved. Thanks e-Gmat a lot. Please keep the good work.

Hi,
Like any other non-native, I was also deeply concerned about my verbal skills. While preparing for GMAT, initially I read all the Manhattan books thoroughly & other verbal content available online and wrote my GMAT and scored poorly on verbal(V31). Then on gmatclub forum, i read about e-gmat courses. After going through the free sessions, i came to knew that my verbal fundamentals were weak. The sessions were so
good and so easy to understand that i subscribed for the Verbal online course. The course helped me master the fundamentals very well because the course is designed keeping in view the problems faced by non-natives in understanding verbal basics. The course content is very rich and that too without using hi-fi verbal jargons. The scholaranium has such a brilliant collection of questions that each & every concept is tested in depth. It helped me identify my weaknesses and work on them. This time I didn't touched any other book except e-gmat and again wrote my GMAT and scored a pretty good V41 i.e. an improvement of 10 points on verbal itself.

So, overall a big thumbs up to e-gmat.

Thanks and all the best!!

E-GMAT verbal course - Simply amazing. It made verbal very easy for me.

I would recommend this course highly for non-natives.
The sentence correction course is outstanding.
Thank you e-gmat for the wonderful course.

The course is balanced with each of SC, RC and CR. The video courses are concise and designed for beginners and helped me focus on the core. I am greatly impressed by the sentence correction strategies in the module. The logical approach to solve SC questions is excellent.

During my 20 days preparation, I realized how good the verbal online course is. Special mention for SC, because I think this is the best course which anybody can take and become comfortable with nuances of SC- sentence structure, meaning and spotting the errors.SC is structured in very easy to understand mode . Moreover, the articles written for SC is superb. In CR, Structure and pre-thinking steps gives a solid understanding of the argument. In RC, solution technique for Inference question was best. But the best part is verbal workshop. I recommend everyone to attend it,because it gives you the points where you have to focus (even you have studied full and getting a good score in mocks).

e-gmat verbal online review

It’s been a long time since I started studying for GMAT. My 1st attempt was in Aug 2014, and I managed a meager 610 (V25 Q49) then. While I found Quant to be easier than what I expected, the verbal part was a complete disaster. I was simply clueless in several SC and CR questions in the exam and had to make random guesses on most of them. I mainly trusted the popular guides for SC & CR and practiced from OG & VR.

From my experience what I have learnt is that these books could teach me the concepts well, but when it came to applying the concepts within a rigorous time frame, I utterly failed. This is where the e-gmat verbal online course came to my rescue. Inspired by numerous reviews on gmatclub, I opted for it in Sep 2014. Unfortunately, because of some unexpected work load I could hardly study for the next 3-4 months, but the e-gmat team was considerate enough to extend my subscription several times.

The key features which I like most are as follows:
The SC 3-step process seems to be time consuming at the beginning, but after researching with a no. of methods from other popular courses, I can confidently claim that it’s the most effective one.
The pre-thinking approach in CR, which is explained in minute details for every CR question type through a no. of concept files and application files, has helped me to achieve greater accuracy and speed.
In RC, apart from the various reading strategies discussed, I like the quality collection of RC passages in their database. The RC passages and questions are very much representative of the official materials.
Last but not the least, the Scholaranium, launched recently is simply a revolution, a must-have for any gmat-aspirant. Its various features such as brilliant database of questions, the ability quizzes, takt time calculation, topic wise assessments, detailed explanations, and so on can help anyone track his/her progress in the most effective manner.
I will appear for my second attempt soon and hopefully will be back with a success story.
