I was really struggling with the verbal when my friend suggested me about egmat Verbal. In just a month, I was able to ramp up my verbal tremendously. I found the video lectures very helpful in making my concepts crystal clear. It is especially useful for SC which is the most scoring section. The CR is also great. In addition, they provide the scholaranarium which has over 600 questions and is quite helpful.

I think they should bundle it with more of other tests like Veritas etc. But they do provide gmatclub and 800score tests for free. Kudos to the egmat team!

E-GMAT SC has helped me gain a lot of confidence in knowing multiple rules about GMAT Sentence correction as I am a non-native speaker of English and I used to struggle a lot with SC, the method that describes about breaking a sentence into multiple blocks depending on phrases and clauses, I learned though the course and now SC seem more easier task to handle, and the important thing is their approach gives me confidence to tackle SC, I just go step by step in a structured many get to the correct answer choice. I found the Verbal Online course very helpful and very didactic, it provides a comprehensive and methodical way to approach and solve CR, SC and RC questions.
Besides if you have any doubt about any question or theme, you can write to e-gmat people and they will respond within few days with a detailed explanation.

I am a non native student. I am having a experience of 9 years so 9 years break from books and study. I tried to study from various book in an asynchronous manner. I gave my first mock and disastrous to score V21. I score very bad . I again started hard from various books and the result was same. I did not score properly. Then I thought of buying a course and best I could figure out for non natives was e-gmat and it turns really a good decision. I have not taken a gmat yet but my score has been improved in mock gmat stupendously. Best thing about egmat is that it is visual course , so no more books. Having appeared for my GMAT(Q45, V35, 650) few years back, I was looking for a verbal course that would help me resume my preparation in a more systematic way. In my previous attempt, I got a little overwhelmed by everything I had to check or remember while I attempted the verbal section. I have used numerous sources for my verbal preparation. Started with OG, went to Kaplan, Manhattan, Magoosh, Bible for CR prep. But somehow nothing worked. My Verbal score never improved by a huge chunk which left me worried as to how will I be able to score a good percentile in my GMAT. After reading lots of reviews of e-gmat, I gave it a shot. I started with free SC webinar taught by Payal. In those 2 hours and 4 questions, I could understand way more than what I couldn't in past few months. The basic concept to perform any question, how meaning is very important - these are few things which I never focussed upon. As soon as I started my Gmat prep I realised that my quant skills were strong but I was completely lost in verbal. In verbal i was scoring well in CR but my accuracy was below 50% in SC. This brought my entire score down. I tried a few prep books but all in vain. Then I came across e-gmat verbal online prep, which was exactly the course I needed. I scored V38. During the test, I felt that my performance on SC isn't as good as I hoped.

I reflected on where I went wrong. I used to primarily look for grammatical errors and not meaning errors. And that strategy resulted in a lower accuracy when answering questions. (70-75%).

I realized that I needed a mindset change of not jumping the gun and start looking for errors, rather understand the meaning of the original sentence before attempting to eliminate incorrect responses.

Through all the online sessions, e-GMAT did a great job of highlighting the need to understand the meaning of sentences.
