Tons of opportunities to take active leadership roles in the clubs/orgs. Students are extremely collegial and helpful. Just about all the big companies recruit at the school, and I could even see progress in that area over the two years I was there. Finally, having a smaller class gave me the opportunity to get to know just about all my classmates by the time I graduated. Think about geography of where you ultimately want to get a job. Although I partly chose McCombs because I wanted to end up in Texas, McCombs gave me a chance to work in the Bay Area for my internship.
"Take the professor, don't take the class." That strategy worked very well, even though I took a few classes out of my core interest.
You'd be very surprised to see how many McCombs graduates end up in the Silicon Valley and in Seattle.
