The program like every other MBA programmes is quite intense. Very early into the programme you get to learn alot. Just in the second week, you are put into working with real clients working on real business issue as a consultant.
There is a good mix of academics and practical learning with case studies and presentations.
For future applicants i would say that research well before joining which is true for every school. But if you plan to join MBS you wont regret it.
The programme has a small class size compared to some other programmes that makes everything very collaborative and closely knit.
The city of Manchester itself is very student friendly and has a lot of companies in and around. After london, it is the biggest industrial city in the UK.
The UK job market is not as open to MBA's as the US but it is quickly adapting to "MBA's". The number of recruiters on campus are increasing every year and so are the internship and full time offers.
From my research, i can safely say that after LBS it is one of the most favoured school for recruiters.
