I would love to thank the GMAT Club for making it possible for me to move from a disappointing Q37 to Q49 on the actual test. I before taking on the GMAT Club tests used the Quant Thread on the GMAT Club to work on the basics. After going through the basics I was able to solve the actual GMAT questions but I kept on making careless mistakes while doing so, because of which I was not able to push my score in the Quant section.

I thereafter started using the GMAT Club tests, taking one test per day. My strategy was not to focus on time but to develop my abilities to solve any question. So I would take as much time as I wanted to solve the 31 questions on the test without looking at the answers (Generally about 90 minutes) and then would take a break of 30 min and then do a detailed review of each of those questions (Generally 2 h 30 min). I would look for where I made mistakes, did I got the correct answers because I truly understood the concept, or was it a flook. I would bookmark the questions that I would like to solve again.

As I moved through the complete set of GMAT Club Tests, I could move my score from Q 37 to Q51. In the lasts few test my scores varied between 50 and 51.

On actual GMAT I was able to score Q49, which was at least one point less than my expectations but still it was a massive improvement from a Q37.

I would always be thankful to this community for helping me get to a score of 690 based on which I could process my applications further.
