Being a person who has studied with an English native speaker teacher and has done a self-studying course, I find the e-GMAT verbal online course a great source of studying, especially for non-native speakers like me.
I think you can consider the e-GMAT verbal course as a complement, since every concept is explained in full detail and you are given quizzes at the beginning and the end of every 'chapter', that help you identify your weaknesses and strengths.
I said as a complement, since I think it is important to have an instructor and do a lot of extra practicing to aim for a high verbal score. I am pretty sure you can also have an instructor in e-GMAT, I just haven't tried any live sessions, but I bet they work.
As someone told me, to reach a good score on the verbal section you must practice, practice and practice.
