My GMAT Ongoing Struggle

I have been studying for the GMAT for some time now. Early on my GMAT studies, I thought that the verbal section will not impose any problems. I thought that my English language competency is enough to get me through. I was in for a big surprise when I got v17! For the SC section, the answer choices all looked close and valid. For the CR section, I had no clue what I should be looking for and for the RC section, I was lost in a maze of boring texts.
