I was on the fence about using a consultant, and wasn’t sure whether it would be a worthwhile investment. I had intro calls with most of the larger firms and some other independent coaches, but felt like Alex had the most personalized approach. My intro call with Alex stood out because he focused on diving into my personal background and goals right away, rather than trying to sell me on his service.

After speaking with one of Alex’s previous clients and hearing firsthand just how helpful Alex was in her application cycle, I decided to commit to a 2-school package. I was ultimately accepted into Harvard, and was able to apply some of Alex’s feedback into some other school applications as well, where I was also accepted into Wharton and Columbia.

Alex provided clear suggestions and advice on how I could build up my extracurricular involvement and test scores, especially because of my lower average GPA. During my time working with Alex, he had a concrete timeline that gave me ample time to prepare multiple school applications without feeling like I had to sacrifice time outside of applications. With his initial career goal planning and self-reflection exercises, I felt incredibly well-equipped to dive into essays. Alex’s feedback and suggestions for essay revisions took my application to another level that I wouldn’t have achieved without his services.

I’m so thrilled about my acceptances into my top schools and highly recommend working with Alex!
