Being in New York City was an incredible experience. As a CBS student I had unprecedented access to top firms and elite thinkers in my industry. Networking is as easy as a subway ride away. I had friends from other top business schools constantly call me up for a place to stay as they flew in for their corporate visits.
One drawback is that the facilities are old, but this should change with the new campus.
Another highlight is the student body. There is a healthy mix from all industries and all geographies. I also benefitted from classmates who were well connected within New York City that could show me around and give me excellent introductions into my targeted companies.
