School was great from an academic perspective, i learned a lot. School does not provide a lot of networking opportunities and the alumni network is very week. Career services were unhelpful unless you wanted to go into consulting. Brand in healthcare is strong, but your personal network will get you farther than BU's network in getting a job.
BU focuses on a few key pillars, particularly healthcare and public/non profit. I was a healthcare management student at BU. BU has strong relationships with the provider material, but has a very hard time placing students in healthcare industry jobs. Most people who end up in those spaces do it on their own. Limited help with internships and job placement. Far too much focus on global business, which is ancillary for the healthcare market. I would look elsewhere if you are not interested in Healthcare/ IT Management/ Non-Profits. Faculty pushes you towards consulting jobs. Know what you want before you go here.
Classes and professors are excellent, especially in marketing and strategy
At BU you will be on your own when looking for a job. Network for minority students/non white students could be much much stronger.
