Experience during the program

The program is very intensive and grueling. The lectures and course works are based on too much assignments. You won't get time to do some external study and networking. A huge number of case assignments makes your social quotient low. Of course there are exceptions. But I was surprised by some of the case studies. Some of them were exceptional and others were too old. I am not satisfied with the program to a great extent. Since I don't have supply chain background, it was very difficult to speak with recruiters. People will say that you can have transferable skill sets...doesn't work. I think the program waives your education fees and that is something was really helpful

About professors, classes and curriculum

Great professors.
I liked professor Kevin Corley's class. He taught us negotiations.
Byers is also great and make you learn the subject and concepts.
Andrea Morales is awesome too.

About job placement process

Network hard. Its very competitive. Keep networking. Attend all the lunch and learn sessions and the company info sessions. This year was not really great in terms of job opportunities. Some of the core recruiters didn't hire and most probably wont come for certain time. Can't disclose all the names here. But we need to revamp the career management center, that is absolutely ridiculous. We need more active people in corporate and employers relations management.

Experience during the program

The school specializes in end to end integrated supply chain management and technology driven marketing analytics. Some of the core expectations that were fulfilled as part of my short term goals were how to work on business processes , strategic procurement, operations management and inventory simulation. The professors emphasize on analyzing data and doing some awesome case studies.

I also feel there is a scope to change the curriculum. Since it is highly research driven, blockchain could be part of the new curriculum. The Business analytics classes are equally inspiring. The program can place emphasis on pseudo code developments and making people awesome product owners for some of the internal tools.

The international candidates are the best students in this program in terms of analytics, program management capabilities and have some great experiences and have high gmat score credentials.

Future applicants: Its the best school for supply chain and try to leverage your seniors and alums. So many opportunities and tons of placements. Just don't worry about jobs and internships.

About professors, classes and curriculum

Statistics was a big disappointment, though international students didn't face any problem Heavily focused and invested in operations. Some great professors such as Byers, Thomas Kull, Rabinovich. Rabinovich's classes were extremely important in terms of pure industry work and experience. This class focused heavily on logistics planning, aggregation of SKUs and network design, Similarly finance classes, especially the class with Galinger in Valuations was the best class. But you guys are unlucky, he retired this year. Classes or marketing are equally good. The project and capstone exposure is also equally good. Entrepreneurship classes were equally great and so was the solar commercialization classes.

About job placement process

Great! Great!
Just don't worry about job. All of you will be getting some internships and awesome jobs. Just don't be dumb and network like crazy. Only two or three international student in my year did some kind unpaid internship or part time work. If you are coming to ASU, internship/job search should be your least headache.
The situation at this point is challenging due to certain changes, but all of the students have got extremely good options. Its a forward focused program and the ASU MBA is the best thing to happen in life.
One point of discontent: the school admitted people with no work experience and they are not at all suitable for business school. The school needs to be more picky and focus on work exp and high gmat scores for future. ASU is the no 1 innovation school in USA and the full time MBA is moving in the same direction.

A great school!!! As someone said, a school doesn't rest on the laurels of rankings or IVY status. The alums make the school shine. Great alum network, but not utilized. Capacity is highly under-rated. Some of the best faculties, such as Artor, Andrea Morales, Reynold Byers, John Fowler( a man of immense knowledge and experience, its a shame we didn't have any of his classes), and many more. Highly research oriented and learning oriented culture.
Lot of divergent career options possible. Expectations wise: fully satisfied with the course work and opportunities. Too much people from tech-services background. Hopefully we see some product people in the classroom, venture capitalists, doctors.
Future applicants, just focus on your application. GMAT score is not a real deal!!! make some connections with MBA admissions team and ambassadors and create your stories. I expect this b-school to be in top 20 in the next 3-5 years. But for that we need a strong consulting and strategy concentration. MSIM classes are awesome too and will benefit dual degree students.

About professors, classes and curriculum

SCM 502, 551 are great classes. The simulation of revenue management and airline revenue management for pricing and analytics were great platform. Finance- accounting classes were superb. MSIM classes focused a lot on the core issues of tech and analytics and automation.

About job placement process

I think one the biggest network is ASU!!!!!!!. Top 10 schools for business in Bay Area.

Pity for the international students. With limited access and less than acceptable people and soft skills they will always struggle. most of the international students have high GMAT scores. The schools needs to provide the future applicants with all the resources to prepare and develop skills before arriving.
If you are a miser and just want to earn $100K jobs, come here.
If you want to be part of fabulous alumni network, may not be a good place. you have to toil hard to reap the fruits. May not be a good fit if you are a individual contributor. Everything is team-based, one of my main point of discontent. So many free riders.

Experience during the program

Some of the coursework was truly awesome and very inspiring. SCM 515, MKT 591 were highly analytical and needed lot of progressive research and learning techniques. The best professor is from Corporate Finance, Prof. Sreedhar Bharat.

Expectations varied: Placements are too much operations oriented. Lost few consulting companies. Career Network needs to step up. Consulting club is absolutely dormant. The school needs to create a case competition and people who wins the case should be the office bearers.

In terms of career growth, if you are a native american, this is the best school in the country for operations. every industry and all the top players recruit. Internationals students are at a huge disadvantage.

I think, marketing classes needs to be promoted. They are some of the best courses in the electives such as B2B and B2C. Focus needs to be shifted from supply chain

About job placement process

Situation is very bad and grim. For international students, I will recommend strictly going to Penn State or Foster. Don't just come here for forward focus MBA program or scholarship. Spend your money and go to a better placement-oriented school. Even a STEM program from San Jose State University is worth much more than this MBA program

Experience during the program

Going into the program, there was a lot of uncertainty. I wasn't sure what to expect from a lower-ranked program. I was worried that the quality of classes, the network available, job opportunities, or career services would be sub-par. However, to say that everything has been amazing thus far would be an understatement. Since my time here, I have been blown away by what I've seen and experienced. A great experience all around and the opportunities to work for top companies is here. My suggestion to applicants: don't let the rankings chain you! Depending on your circumstances, some schools may end up being a better fit than a higher ranked school.

Everyone in the class is so bright, both the students and the faculty. Although diverse, a common trait among students is their overachieving qualities and accomplishments. Many are top of their class and recipients of awards. The faculty can be also prestigious as well. A pleasant surprise.

About job placement process

Supply Chain is still ASU's bread and butter. Most of the top tier companies that come to recruit, are here for supply chain, nothing else. The other concentration need more development and ASU is working on that.

Experience during the program

The program is wonderful and it really helps me in my professional growth. It is a wonderful place to come and improve your skills, gain knowledge and interact with people from different nationalities (as many as 30 countries represented in the Batch of 2018).

The school is highly reputed in the area and known for its strong Supply Chain Department. They attract a lot of companies for internships and full time offers. I already have 2 offers from reputed companies and interviewed with 4 more companies within 3 months of joining the school.

One other thing that I would like to mention is the great Mentoring program that this school has. They team you up with current/former executive business leaders who help you along the entire duration of your program. We call it Executive Connections. No other business school does something like this, as far as I know.

I would suggest future applicants to understand the program by talking to current students and alumni before they decide to apply. This school is known for offering full scholarships to students so don't make that you're primary motive to apply.

Experience during the program

'Business is Personal' is tagline of the school and everyone makes it sure to follow it completely. MBA itself is difficult and time consuming but from students, professors to career coaches and admission staff put in lot of efforts to help us as much as possible.

Concentration wise - SCM and marketing are really good. I cannot speak for other as I am not aware of the details.
Financial aids - School offers tremendous support in this if you are eligible and great candidate.
Future Forward - The latest curriculum is very new to be reviewed but core strengths are similar so should be great value addition in near future.
Placements- Graduate Career Center helps a lot with recruiting events and career coaching. International students have limited opportunities and have to try harder (but it is not specific to school). Summer Internship is compulsory.
Class size - small cohort helps a lot. This was one of my major reasons for selection.

About professors, classes and curriculum

The MBA program has 'executive coach' course where few students are coupled with the executive coach (these are usually retired or about to retire) executives, CXOs with tremendous industry experience. He/She would mentor the students throughout two years and this has been one of the best experiences for me in this program.
