I am a career central banker from India. I have a work experience of 8+ years and I have been chosen by my employer for partial scholarship to pursue higher studies. Furthermore, I have cleared FRM and CFA (L1) and have a post grad diploma in Machine Learning and AI. Apart from that, I also have 2 research publications in international journals on the topics intersecting payment systems and deep learning. I have also received 'Order of Merit' certificate from my college (a top tier IIT) for my achievements in extra curricular achievements at my college.
Adding onto bb's point, LBS is particularly keen on asking 'why LBS' and expects you to connect with alum/ students - there's even some essay q's along those lines. You could check out sample essays from a successful admit here. Ofcourse, this is just for reference; authentic/ personal essays are key to have an impact.
Hope this helps.

R1 generally offers higher chances at scholarships. So if I were you, and waiting is an option, applying in R1 is better.

Priyanka here from ARINGO. Speaking about your profile, it's sad to hear that you were dinged from a few of your target schools. I hope you make it to Kellogg and Stern. Were you able to identify what might have gone wrong. It will be important for you to identify any shortcomings in your profile.
