After my first attempt at GMAT bombed, I realized that I need more practice in quant and better conceptual understanding in verbal.
When I enquired about all the practice test available in the market (other than GMAC tests) all the other tests are not really relevant. I got very strong suggestions to use gmatclub tests.
So far, after taking around 8-10 tests, I have seen significant improvement in my speed and accuracy. Hopefully, I will be able to do my next attempt much better.
I will just pass on advice received from a senior "Do a lot of practice for quant and gmatclub tests are the most realistic tests available and also there are a lot of tests to do sufficient practice"
I love the quant test. It includes a lot of excellent questions that are suitable for variety of levels. The CAT system is like the real test, so I really comment Gmat club test for those who want to improve their skills. About the verbal, Sentence correction question are fine because they help me to remember many idioms and grammar priciples. Otherwise, I not really sure about the CR question, their logic seem different with GMat official questions. Reading comprehensive question seem easy at the. first glace but they are as tricky as real question. To sum up, taking Gmat club test is the good choice for retakers like me ^^
GMAT club tests are really good practice, specially the quant section is on the spot. I think to actually improve on a particular section, it need practice with GMAT like questions. And not just any GMAT like questions, these need to be something which challenges you to improve and gives extra bit of exercise to your mind. Questions in quant section really make you think and the explanation you need for clarification are always there from Bunuel or some other expert. Apart from usual test format, the test also lets you practice questions in study mode, which I think is really crucial as going back to wrong questions and learning from them is an important step towards improvement.

The GMAT club test questions are quite similar to official GMAT questions. The test is highly adaptive too. The analytics is the best part ,the solutions and review of tests gives good clarity of where we lack, what extra efforts need to be put in. It helps to identify patterns, weaknesses. The more tests you take and analyze, the better score you get. It helps you build up your skill by honing fundamental skills used to answer each question. The test solutions also offer lot of shortcuts to use while answering a question. It is truly recommended for all GMAT test takers before appearing for the final GMAT exam.
I have been studying for the GMAT for a very long time, but only started taking it really seriously this past month. As my test date is coming up soon and I still didn't see any serious improvement on my quant I found I had to take action and came across the GMAT Club tests with some wonderful short-cuts. This is exactly what I was searching for, since I was always running out of time on my practice tests. I managed to increase my quant score from 43 to 46 on average, just by taking 4 GMAT Club quant tests! I expect to score around the 50s by the time I'm done with all of them!
The GMAT club tests have been able to introduce the exact way the GMAT test is carried out. The question quality is high and most importantly relevant. The best part is you can check the level of the questions- this is very important since you get to know where you need to put your efforts and improve. Another good feature is, in every explanation there is a link to the forum for discussion on the question. Many a times I did not agree with the answer (and have gotten angry) and the explanation provided did not convince me. On checking out the links you can view the whole thread that has gone deep and cleared the confusion. So overall the GMAT tests are something you should definitely work on and they do help you understand your loopholes.
This is my second review for GMAT Club tests. Before I started attempting these tests, I had scored 49 twice in actual test and was hoping to get 50 in my next attempt. I took Quant tests and scored 50 in 2 of them and around 44 in rest but again got 49 in actual next GMAT attempt.
I am planning to take another attempt and for that I hope taking more of these Quant tests will help me to reach at least 50.
Again Verbal tests are nowhere in quality when compared with Quant tests. It would be really really helpful if quality of Verbal tests could also be improved.
I would advice all of you to refer to the analysis under "My performance" tab as it will help you to find your weak points and thus will help you to improve further.
Thanks.
I loved the gmat club tests, especially for the quant section. They look exactly like the original gmat test and they provide wonderful analytics at the end of the test to make you understand your mistakes. The CAT system works well, and simulates the exam in a much better way than other competitors. I truly recommend it. Moreover, the forum discussion on each question helps understanding mistakes and the way other people think about the questions, giving a test taker multiple approaches to solve a given problem. Lastly, I loved the ability to pause a test, restore a test, and customize a test: that way you are in full control of how to approach your study and test material.
The tests are hard level, which helps you improve your knowledge in topics. When you take a normal test you will find the test to be easier and your confidence is boasted. I highly recommend to take these test.
Taking the tests has been a great help because I have learned a lot from the explanations included in the review section. The tests target specific topics, so if you need to work only in a subsection the tool enables you to do so. I have been able to review algebra, statistics and geometry separately.
Consider the test in your study plan!!
I have personally taken the GMAT exam twice and have always found that the real exam experience is very different from the ones found otherwise. However, I found the GMATClub tests to be very close to the actual experience.
Firstly, the UI of the test is very close, if not identical, to the original GMAT test UI. This will not only ensure that the user is accustomed to how to the use the interface in the actual test.
Secondly, the questions (especially quant) are very similar to the ones presented in GMAT. The questions themselves are not very long or complicated, as in some other tests, but are tricky - just like you would expect in the GMAT.
Finally, The sheer volume of the tests is amazing.
