Well, I took up GMAT Club Tests pretty late in my preparation. So it was a blessing in disguise when I started using it. Fantastic set of questions with clever traps. It's more for those who's learned the formulas but want to virtually cover every single type of question in which those concepts and formulas could be applied. It surely improved my attention to detail big time ! I would recommend exhausting every single questions esp 600 and 700 question types and I personally believe it will be a big boost to your confidence and ultimately your score. Good luck and Cheers to the GMAT Club Team!
Overall, I am very happy with the tests. Quant section is awesome, with a lot of high quality questions, I cannot say the same about the verbal section, I completed almost all the tests and some of the questions were repeated, others were of poor quality and discussed on this forum for not being representative of the real test and, however, not removed from the test question bank, the difficulty was also quite high in this section... I highly recommend this tests for those who want to practice timing focusing on the quant section but don't waste too much time on the verbal.
Since 3 month I am preparing for the gmat exam. I basically prepare from GMAT CLUB TEST. The quant section is unavoidably necessary for a score of 48 or more. the 700 level equations are no doubt very important and conceptually lingered. To practice around 1200 questions, no doubt, makes a difference for higher quant score. The verbal section is also equally good, But I have some understanding problem in CR section for higher level questions. the RC and SC questions are very useful to score 35+ in verbal. And one more thing is that, to practice more than 1700 REAL GMAT STYLE QUESTIONS did indeed make a difference on preparation.
I originally bought the GMAT Club CAT Access because I wasn't able to pass the Q46 with the usual OG / Quant Focus Prep.
The answers are all brilliantly explained; the "Link to The Forum Option" helps to dive deeply into the different ways to tackle a question type.
I also love the verbal CATs, even though the scores are often times 4 to 10 points off my GmatPrep Scores.
The Verbal CATs especially helped me to boost my speed in Verbal without loosing too much accuracy.
The explanaitions to all the CR and SC questions are top-notch, and the Quizzes helped me to become tremendously faster in RC.
I highly recommend it to ANYONE studying for the GMAT.
Gmat club quizzes provide you an ample of questions to practise and the explainations by experts are very good.Every minute detail is covered and disccussions are properly in line with the concepts. For quant, you have lots of practise problems and doing these, motivates and boosts your confidence.I would definately thank GMAT club for the numerous and useful resources provided in my gmat prep journey!IThis platform is a bible in gmat prep.the OG's explainataions are also very crisp and precisely explained in the forums. Its a one stop for gmat prep.I definately recommend everyone to use the available resources in gmatclub.
If you've spent even an hour with GMAT math, you know that it is not about formulae. GMAT math is designed to make you think on the spot with questions that can't be solved in certain set-in-stone steps, especially the higher difficulty level questions.
GMAC spends thousands of dollars on each question and the test makers are some of the highest paid nonprofit sector individuals in the world. GMATCLUB tests prep you to beat these supreme questions.
GMATCLUB math tests are BRILLIANT, to say the least. They'll tire you like a real test should, they'll make you think beyond what you've thought of, and finally, help you get the score you want.
EDIT: I've used finished up all the tests and have seen a massive rise in my score!
I gave my GMAT exam in January totally unprepared. just going through few 100 questions in the GmatClub CAT's and I was amazed that i could see similar pattern questions that wouldn't have taken me more than a minute to solve if i would have prepared better.
These CAT's are worth the money to spend on them for the quality and quantity of questions they have.
I again bought the CAT's and preparing through them. Moreover the forum is of great help. The kind of material that is provided is incredibly commendable. I am currently following bunnuel's posts for quant and souvik's posts for verbal. hope i can achieve my target score this time.
I got a score of Q 50 in both the attempts of GMAT only because of GMAT club tests.Repeating the tests for a second and doing a GMAT club math test daily is sufficient to score above Q 49 on the real GMAT.GMAT quant seems easy after practicing GMAT club tests.I am pretty sure I was capable of scoring a Q 50 on the real GMAT with the confidence gained from GMAT club tests.I am again planning to repeat GMAT club tests after subscribing to the same for my reattempt to reach my overall target score of 750 for my application to my targeted B schools.
The GMAT CLUB tests are a must have for GMAT preparation.
I took at least 15 Math CATs and did not take English CATs. So, henceforth everything would be regarding Math CATs.
I would break down my rating on the basis of the following parameters:
1. Quality of questions/solutions: 5; really top-quality questions and very helpful solutions
2. Timing constraint: 4.75; Most of the tests are very well packaged and if you prepare well you will just be able to complete on time. Keeps you on toes.
3. The similarity to GMAT: 4.5; Questions are a tad bit difficult than real GMAT. However, this is helpful in the preparation phase. If you practice these expect at least +2 points from your usual score.
GMAT CLUB CATs was the sole material I used for math practice. I felt the higher difficulty very amusing. Usually, difficult problems are intimidating but when you go through the solutions you always end up learning something really helpful. I usually scored 46-50 on the practice tests and was able to achieve my target score in the real GMAT.
1. I am glad that I subscribed to the GMAT Club tests. It gives me a feel of the actual GMAT test interface.
2. These tests are efficient with a good selection of Questions from the entire GMAT club question bank.
3. I would rate the difficulty and the quality of the Quant Section questions to be higher.
4. I subscribed for these tests for 4 weeks and am planning to increase the duration for another 2 weeks.
5. I was earlier practicing questions from the Veritas question bank (free for all and also quite good), but after preparing for my GMAT exam from the GMAT Club, I have never looked back since. Be it the Question bank or the GMAT Club tests.
