There is no alternate to Gmat club tests when it comes to quant. It has been worked out so well that you would see the efforts put on it by the team. full rating for quant. Very well relevant with the kind of questions expected in real test once you are in the 48-51 zone. You wont feel the need if you are below this level. All the questions feel very relevant when you are sitting at the exam. I would say that verbal section needs a revamp with questions that dont deviate from the real test questions and the exam pattern like the length of rc etc.
The quant tests are tough and simulate gmat like questions, though I find that even though the questions are quite tough, they are still not as deceptive as the actual gmat questions. The verbal part is completely off and I wouldn't recommend the verbal tests. Also the scoring algorithm seems to be a bit weird, though the quant portion is good for practise. Also I have currently been scoring around q 48-50 in gmat club tests and scored q 49 in the actual gmat. So overall you can go for the quant gmat club tests and skip the verbal tests. e- gmat has better verbal questions.
I was worried about quant and GMat club tests really helped me , they had all types of questions covered and it helped me in scoring 49, people who tend to score 49+ please refer gmat club tests. They had difficult questions above the level of gmat which helped me in feeling gmat questions easy. The test is very much similar to gmat pattern. First u get in easy questions and then difficult questions. It had all mix of questions and helped me in scoring good marks. The students have to go through these tests to get an idea on pattern and to face any tough questions. These tests also helps in time management. In one word gmat club tests helped me without referring multiple materials
GMAT Club tests are a miracle. It's so difficult these days to find a product which actually resembles the GMAT quality questions. every question is so different, unique in it's way and actually formulated to tests various concepts tested on the GMAT. The explanations are so crisp and precise, perfect for someone who's looking forward to cross Q49-50 . you have the option of taking tests as CATs or you can choose to practice topic by topic. the analytics are brilliant and design in a way to highlight your strong and weak areas. I recommend people to at least practice the 700 level questions from the pool, those are truly a golden resource
I cant mention enough how helpful these tests have been in my prep.I got it complementary with e-gmat course for 6 months.Honestly if you really want a high score ,you have to solve gmat club tests.Hats off to bunuel for all the wonderful explanation given by him .In terms of difficulty these tests are tough , challenging and conceptual. These tests will test your understanding and prepare for the worst case scenarios in the exam.I would recommend to solve only the quant section. For english i would recommend e-gmat as it is more in line with the actual exams.
Guys , i had chance to attempt tests which i got via club points.
Believe me, every question is worth the time. Each question will teach you a new trick, concept and it will be much higher than the actual gmat question .I recently appeared in gmat test and scored 640 ( poor verbal score ) and my quant score was 48 . I would give credit to club tests which will force you to think at next level on how to apply th concepts .
Practice each question multiple times . In this way you will cover pretty much all types of questions asked in gmat exam .
Club tests truely worth a try !!!!!
I purchased E-gmat access and gmat club test comes with it as a bonus. I did not believe gmat club test would be this helpful for quant section of Gmat. You can choose which topic you can practice and see the result. The GMAT club test is great resource to review and find weak spots in the quant section. By using gmat club test, I immediately realized that my algebra was way worse than I expected and reviewing it and taking occasional quiz on topics will sharpen your weak spots. Another great application of the quiz is that you can do your practice by difficulty level. This feature will try help you to master the concept. For me, I just wanted to master all of 600 level questions and It helped me greatly.
The GMAT Club Test is by-far the best after the Official Prep because of the Questions available in the directory. They have more than 1500 Questions to create a test specifically according to our skill level. Would definitely recommend for Q48+. Also, the only lack is the amount of Verbal CATs available. If the number could be made equal to Quant CATs then it is a full package. The level of Quant Questions is really good and would help anyone cover the complete Question spectrum that one can expect on the real GMAT. For anyone aiming 700+ do use the GMAT Club tests for final prep.
These tests are the holy grail for your improvement. I surely recommend going through the questions in test or in practice mode. Simply love them. EVERY BIT WORTH IT. Anyone who is looking for that Q45 to Q51 push must visit these questions. I was consistently stuck at Q44 before I took these tests. Coming from a non-maths background, I was finding it really hard to excel and get that top score of Q51. Now, after these tests I am consistently and easily at Q49 minimum looking ahead at the coveted Q51 range. The questions are mostly 700+ which ensures important topics are being tested.
The GMAT Club tests include an amazing bunch of questions and help in clearly pointing out the weakness' that we need to work on. I have extensively used the "Best and Worst" analysis to improve the sections on which I was under performing.
The GMAT Club tests is a definite recommendation from my experience, I would encourage all GMAT Test takers to try out the tool for a week for free and then purchase the pack if they feel satisfied with the variety and the analytics that the Club Tests offer.
I wouldn't hesitate to state that this is all you'll need once you have your basics covered.
