GMAT club is a open forum where you can discuss as well as see the discussion of any question related to GMAT. Many experts have provided detail analysis of a question that will help you, because it's all about the right approach. Even though different people have different approaches to find the right answer, we should be familiar with all approaches because you never know which one you will have to apply eventually.
For quant anybody aiming over Q47, GMAT club tests is the right resource to invest in. Although Don't attempt if you're still a beginner . One needs to have good fundamental before they can attempt these tests.
Great product. Love the way you can tailor your practice session. Explanations for math questions are very good. However, could improve answer explanations for verbal questions.
The grade of difficulty for both sections is very good. Especially for math, some of the most difficult question data set in the market.
A good thing you could add would be to integrate sessions with predefined practice schedules.
Lastly, It would be awesome to have this tool offline. I really missed this feature when I wanted to study in airplanes or in my country home where I did not have good internet connection.
When i started with GMAT prep, I really struggled with Quant. Option of taking quizzes really helped me capitalize my conceptual understanding of different topics. Once i felt confident i started taking Sectional Quant tests, Very challenging. But these tests push your limits. Performance analysis and score predictors are amazing tools to analyze your weakness and measure your current level. My quant score in last gmatclub test was 47 and i got Q47 on the test day too.
Verbal section can be improved. I tried taking 2 tests. But was not that satisfied with the questions and explanations. Questions were not GMAT like.
The Quant tests are great, so much one can learn: timing, strategy, shortcuts, tricks. My GMATCLUB Quant scores so far(47-48) have been at par with the MGMAT CAT and GMATPREP Quant scores (around 48-49). And amazing Analysis of results: topic wise weakness and strengths, and quiz suggestions to help you out. These test are a great way to test your depth of knowledge, timing, weak areas, etc.
I am not so confident about Verbal Cat though. I usually score above 38 in MGMAT, GMATPREP, etc. but here the questions just seem off and I can barely cross 28.. And got a few Stimulus/ Passage with different questions in different CATS.
Quant CATs are a must for 700+ aspirants.
Although it might be my computer/network fault, but there's a glitch : If you accidentally click NEXT twice, a question gets skipped, without asking for confirmation. This happened once in my Verbal CAT. Please Check.
GMAT club tests helped me dearly in understanding the various tricks and concepts in the quant section. The entire structure along with the forum discussion for every post is very insightful. By doing GMAT club tests, a GMAT aspirant can be test ready anytime after a few weeks of preparation.
The analysis provided by the portal is also totally outstanding as you can track your progress day in and day out.
I wasn't satisfied with the verbal front as it lacked quality questions. Even the explanations given in this section weren't quite satisfactory.
On the whole, anyone aiming for a Q45+, GMAT club tests would definitely be the ideal companion.
The MATH test are hard and this should be good for the real things. The questions are challenging thus it is good for someone who is aiming a high score. However, sometimes explanations of the solutions could be better in terms of clarity of the steps involved. But the forum discussion on every question certainly does help as it is likely that someone else already posed the question you want to ask. Recommended for anyone because for me it give the most bang for you bucks. There is a lot of hard questions to be answered. Could not say the same for verbal as I did not use the verbal test.
HI GUYS,
The more i use these tests , the better is my accuracy.STill in love with these tests
I AM ONE OF THOSE FOLKS WHO HAD BEEN STRUGGLING BOTH IN VERBAL AND IN QUANT .EVEN THOUGH I HEARD A MLOT PEOPLE DISCUSSING VERBAL OVER QUANT IN TERMS OF DIFFICULTY , FOR ME BOTH WERE EXTREMELY DIFFICULT.
EVEN AFTER SOLVING COMPLETE OG , QUANT REVIEW, QUESTION PACK ETC I WAS NOT ABLE TO MANAGE WITHIN TIME.
ALSO, GOT TO KNOW GETTING ACCURACY IS NOT THE RIGHT METHODOLOGY , WHERE ONE NEEDS TO WORK ON THE ABILITY OF HOW TO ANWSER MOST CHALLENGING QUESTIONS IN A GIVEN TIME FRAME.I WOULD RECOMMEND GMAT CLUB TESTS TO EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO GET THE CLEAR PICTURE IN TERMS OF QUESTION DIFFICULTY LEVEL, EXPLANATIONS AND MOST IMPORTANTLY WHEN YOU NEED TO KNOW THE APPLICATION OF CONCEPTS.PRACTICING IS A KEY AND COMPOUNDS BEST WHEN WORKED IN A RIGH APPROACH.
I SINCERELY OWE MY SUCCESS IN QUANT FROM Q35 TO Q49 TO GMAT CLUB TESTS.GIVEN 26 TESTS TEACH YOU EFFECTIVE TO IMPROVE DRASTICALLY.
I was getting overwhelmed with the Quant tests from other products, before someone recommended me to the GMAT Club Quant tests. I took the advice, and solved a test almost every day for 2 weeks. I didn't get the best scores, but it was pretty confidence boosting, since the difficulty level was just apt, and the large number of questions gave me a good practice that I needed. I scored upto 48 or 49 in some tests, and ended up scoring 49 in the real test. Although some of the questions carry the same style/theme with different numerical values, this is probably required to practice more and more. I used the bookmark feature extensively, and went back to the incorrect questions again and again after couple of days every time to give me sufficient preparation and the confidence that I have a good shot at the actual GMAT level of questions!
The GMAT club math tests are the best tools for aceing the GMAT-specific math skills. These tests provide you with thorough practice so that you can be confident while giving the actual exam. It helped me improve from 570 to 690!
Since, they are closest to the GMAT test experience but one level up in difficulty, so while taking the actual exam you know what kind of questions to expect .
I will highly recommend these tests to all the GMAT test takers. I am even planning to take all these tests again so as to aim at Q50 in my next attempt.
The product is consists of 26 Quant and 9 Verbal test, and at the end of the test you can review all right and wrong answers with proper explanation from GMAT Club experts. Even you can post your thought or concern specific to any question; the experts definitely get back to you. The explanations provided also help you uncover many shortcuts and help strengthen your core concepts. On thorough analysis of each question types, once could find similar questions in GMAT exam. The questions are framed in away to enhance one's basic skills and foundation in Quants. Though I am not sure whether the verbal tests are worth trying, I found them to be very demotivating.
