The right difficulty level for Quant

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I was getting overwhelmed with the Quant tests from other products, before someone recommended me to the GMAT Club Quant tests. I took the advice, and solved a test almost every day for 2 weeks. I didn't get the best scores, but it was pretty confidence boosting, since the difficulty level was just apt, and the large number of questions gave me a good practice that I needed. I scored upto 48 or 49 in some tests, and ended up scoring 49 in the real test. Although some of the questions carry the same style/theme with different numerical values, this is probably required to practice more and more. I used the bookmark feature extensively, and went back to the incorrect questions again and again after couple of days every time to give me sufficient preparation and the confidence that I have a good shot at the actual GMAT level of questions!

Best for Quant practice !

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

The GMAT club math tests are the best tools for aceing the GMAT-specific math skills. These tests provide you with thorough practice so that you can be confident while giving the actual exam. It helped me improve from 570 to 690!
Since, they are closest to the GMAT test experience but one level up in difficulty, so while taking the actual exam you know what kind of questions to expect .
I will highly recommend these tests to all the GMAT test takers. I am even planning to take all these tests again so as to aim at Q50 in my next attempt.

The product is consists of 26 Quant and 9 Verbal test, and at the end of the test you can review all right and wrong answers with proper explanation from GMAT Club experts. Even you can post your thought or concern specific to any question; the experts definitely get back to you. The explanations provided also help you uncover many shortcuts and help strengthen your core concepts. On thorough analysis of each question types, once could find similar questions in GMAT exam. The questions are framed in away to enhance one's basic skills and foundation in Quants. Though I am not sure whether the verbal tests are worth trying, I found them to be very demotivating.

Great for Quant, not so much for Verbal

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I got the Gmatclub tests free with my e-gmat course. It came with 25 odd Quant CATs and 9 Verbal CATs. I have taken a few of both and I feel that the quant is top notch. The difficulty level is a bit above the actual GMAT but that's not really an issue as it just helps you understand concepts more thoroughly. The DS questions too encompass pretty much all the tricks that one can potentially be tested on.
However, in my opinion the verbal is a bit far off from the actual GMAT. The quality of questions isn't that great and on a number of instances I was not convinced of the answer choice even after going through the explanation. On the contrary, in OG or Gmatprep software, the answers and the reasoning are always clear and convincing.
In summary, I would say that Gmatclub tests are as good as they come for QA, but they are better to avoid for VA.

Gmat Club Test

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

Gmat club test are very useful test especially the quant section, the quality of question is very high and comparable to real gmat question. Apart from quant verbal is helpful but you can see huge range in your scores. which is because in some exam you may see most of 700 level question and in another low difficulty level questions. In few questions of verbal you can not agree with the correct answers but better you can learn that what they are trying to test in that questions. For the quant most questions are of high level and quite resembling to real thing or higher difficulty, after giving several test applicant can be in good flow to appear in real exam. For high quant score aspirants, its must package to solve each question available in question bank.

Must have to get >Q48

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by post count [?]

Short: Quant tests are must have to get Q>48 (earn them or buy them, they are worth it)
Verbal Tests, can't really comment. Just don't waste your time getting depressed about the score!

I improved from Q45 to Q49 thanks to GMATClub Tests.
The questions are logical, and simple OE makes you dumbfounded.
Although all questions are good, the question difficulty is not properly distributed for the tests I guess. I got 15 500-level, 15 600-level and 8 700-level questions in one test, I got 5 correct from 8 700 level questions. This test gave me Q36, and this is after I scored Q49, Q49, Q50 in previous tests.
Nevertheless, all the questions teach you something and this makes the Quant Tests must have to get that Q50/Q51in the GMAT.

Talking about verbal tests, everyone bashes them! I also cursed Verbal Tests as I scored V31 in 3 tests, whereas I was scoring >V35 in GMATPrep/Kaplan/Economist tests, But I was shocked to see V30 on GMAT. So for me they were pretty accurate!
Still I don't like GMATClub Verbal tests, there's something off about it. For example- I scored V45 in one verbal test! how can anyone justify that!

Gmat Club tests give you the real picture before D-Day

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I started my journey in Jan-16 with my coaching class for GMAT preparation . The thought was clear but I wasn't able to come to the right path and track. I started reading Gmat Club reviews , practiced some questions from July-16 . Though it was late but not least effort. Gmat Club helped to understand the concepts well . Section-wise tests give the clear picture where we can put more effort. I am still in continuation in my journey and I am sure I will get best this time . Thanks to Gmat Club founder for creating such a big platform which is very helpful for working professionals like us.

Great plus to your prep

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I think Gmatclub tests are a great leveler.
They will put you at your ability level in quant.
So take a GMatclub test (full length) (you can ignore the verbal in my opinion) and see where you are in your prep. My advice is to take a gmatprep in the beginning and use Gmatclub quizzes as you prepare to solidify concepts once you have learned them by watching a video or on a blog. Use the categorization by level (500, 600,700) of questions in quizzes and take it step by step. The quality of questions is good and i feel gmac would test you on some of the tricky applications of concepts that are required in gmatclub tests. However u don't need to take them all but I think break it down topic-wise ( there are posts which detail what type of questions by topic are more challenging, appear frequently. One post by magoosh has the frequency of all quant topics in all gmac materials in an excel sheet. So challenge yourself with gmatclub tests, use Bunuel's and KarishmaVertasprep's explanations to the questions even the ones you get right so that their approach is understood. and keep it chill because you will have easy questions as well. Apart from the tests. don't forgot to check out Bunuel's popular posts and his tricky question explanations specially in number systems they really clear up tough ideas. Go through the entire website and use gmatclub tests for a consolidated question bank that tests you effectively and on the basis of your level if you chose to segregate the questions. It's a great addition to the prep.

Good Verbal: Improves Time Management

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by gmat club tests [?]

The tests help to manage time of individual verbal tests. The questions cover GMAT level questions and help revise the theory. Timing is key and these tests help you formulate the strategy required by giving multiple tests.

The Quant tests are extremely helpful if one is targeting high score. The question back is broad and covers all the concepts. Liked the questions on number properties which are tricky in data sufficiency.

I recommend these tests if you are struggling with time management in Verbal and unable to get high scores in quant. These tests blended with official gmat tests are bound to guarantee success.
