I used the GMAT club tests for Quant - Score Q:50 ( although got only 3 wrong in the actual exam - estimate from ESR). They are brilliant and these tests are must buy for someone who wants a Q 50 and above. Questions are very close to GMAT (and slightly tougher than the actual exam). Tests all the concepts and skills required for the real exam! Must buy. All the 700+ questions are worth every penny. The questions are really well crafted and the solutions and discussions on the threads related to problems contain some nice explanations. Explanations contain links to related problems that can help if one wants to practice more!
Very good Buy!
Quant Section Review-Basically I purchased the gmat club tests for my quant improvement.I attempted most of the questions in the quiz form and the questions are really helpful. In some case they even help to clarify the concepts. Also the questions are definately above GMAT level which help us to do even better in the quant section of GMAT.The questions quality of the quant section is very good. Also the explanation provided by Bunuel is out of the world.I find his explanation to the point and very clear.Hardly in 1 or 2 questions I found the language of the question a bit convoluted other than that all the questions are very good and they increase your thinking level.I am very thankful to Bunuel for taking all the pain and helping us out.I have given GMAT once and it help me raise my quant score by 5 points. Also the platform provided by the GMAT club is also very good and easy to use.We can bookmark the questions and check how much we have spent on the question, how many questions are correct and how many of them are wrong, which is also very helpful.
Verbal Section Review-Regarding the english section I have not attempted any questions so I cannot say anything about the quality of this section but regarding the quant section I am sure it is the best material available in terms of preperation related to Quant section of the GMAT.
I really like the Quant Tests. They are challenging and interesting at the same time. The best gmat Quant tests ever! These tests give me the same feeling as I am doing the real GMAT test. The solution of each question is very clear, easy to follow. There are also many useful shortcuts. I've learned a lot from these test. They give me more confidence as well. I would recommend Quant Tests of gmatclub to anyone who wants to beat the gmat. You don't need to practise Quant elsewhere, just gmat club test is more than enough. They are also quite affordable.
Verbal Test: I haven't tried the Verbal test as I read the reviews of many members that the Verbal test is not good so I skip it.
Greetings!
I have used GMAT Club Tests recently to prepare for the test.
According to me, the Quant portion is very good. We get challenging problems and most of the answers are pretty easy to comprehend. With little prep I was able to pull Q49.
When it comes to the Verbal part, the questions are not good enough or close to the real GMAT questions I addressed in the official test. The answers to the questions are not explained properly and it was hard to understand the answers. I had to let go of some of the answers as the forums too failed to provide with a good explanation.
I would recommend the team GMAT Club to improve the verbal section.
Giving 2 stars just because of the Quant section. Will give the test again with better prep.
The GMAT club tests have been my only source of preparation for quant apart from OG and Quant Review. The questions are of high quality and the explanations are clear and concise.
The brilliant analytics help to understand weak areas, timing issues and are very useful to improve scores.
I'm not sure of the accuracy of the scoring algorithm as my scores on GMAT club tests are routinely lower than those on GMAT Prep mocks.
Anyways the harder questions on GMAT club tests keep you on your toes. Overall highly recommended to solve if one is aiming for higher quant scores of Q50-51.
This is a great resource, especially for Quant prep. Problems range from easy 500s to extremely tough 700-level questions. Really good if you're a bit shaky on quant. These are also a good resource for verbal, though there are not as many questions available, and some of the answer choices will leave you scratching your head if you're not solid on the fundamentals since difficult verbal is more of an art form, rather than a strict set of of rules. You should definitely complete a refresher on verbal before tackling the hard verbal questions. Best of luck to everyone taking the GMAT.
I've been going through the GMAT CLUB TESTS. And I could say that the tests are just must for gmat students. especially the quantitative part is very informative and very well designed. if someone is already comfortable with the concepts and theory on the GMAT and has already gone through the Official cats, gmat club tests are the best. plus the questions are linked with gmatclub forum discussion which is also very convenient. at the end it has very good analytics, where you can see what difficulty level question you did right or wrong. Also the cats provide with bookmark option which is very useful for reviews later.
Very well designed and articulated tests , small tests help gauge the individual's ability in each of the sections.
The level of the questions is also very good , especially the Quant tests and at par with the actual GMAT.
IT helps to keep track of the mistakes and can be taken and his/her own convenience.
Also the brilliant analytics leverage to identify weak areas and pain points. Several sections such as Bookmark , Guess etc. help to keep one's progress on track. It also gives the percentile performance , which helps to know your correct standing in the GMAT crowd.
Overall , another brilliant and helpful tool from the website.
A definite , must buy !
The tests have a very good analysis. Specially the verbal answers ' explanations provide detail about all the options. This helps in understanding why the incorrect answers are not the best options. I haven't used the quantitative section a lot but the tests that I took were very realistic. They were on the level of the actual GMAT test and not exceptionally hard like the Manhattan ones. Since the tests are separated one can attempt the sections even when 4 hours are not readily available. All these reasons make it one of the best choices. Besides all these reasons, these tests are also not expensive either. This makes gmatclub tests the best option for preparation out there in the market.
I have been suscribe for GMAT Club Test for several months. Over all the GMAT Club test content is very good, especially for Quant that cover all the topic which are tested on the real gmat test. The design of GMAT Club test which similar to real GMAT test is good.
But I found several problem from side. Some technical problems, such as compatibility across browser, should be corrected. The GMAT Club test run fine on Firefox, but on Chrome I often find some problem such as :
1. while I pause the test, the timing is still running
2. some word/number format, such as dividen/power/function, often not appear properly.
For me who prefer using chrome to firefox for my daily activity would find this condition quite annoyed me because I have to open two browser anytime taking GMAT Club test.
With minor correction on several technical problems which mentioned aboved GMAT Club Test could be far better for subscriber.
